【発明の属する技術分野】
この発明は、画像形成装置を利用するユーザが操作するユーザクライアント装置と、この画像形成装置に係るアプリケーションを開発するアプリ開発ベンダが操作するベンダクライアント装置と、このユーザクライアント装置とベンダクライアント装置の間に介在しアプリケーションの開発を仲介するアプリ開発仲介サーバとを有するアプリ開発仲介システム、アプリ開発仲介サーバ、アプリ開発仲介方法およびその方法をコンピュータに実行させるプログラムを記録したコンピュータ読み取り可能な記録媒体に関し、特に、ユーザが画像形成装置のアプリケーションの開発をアプリ開発ベンダに業務委託する場合に、その開発コスト並びに業者選定に係るユーザの労力を軽減することができるアプリ開発仲介システム、アプリ開発仲介サーバ、アプリ開発仲介方法および記録媒体に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、プリンタ、コピー、ファクシミリ並びにこれらの機能を１つの筐体内に収納した複合機など（以下、「画像形成装置」と総称する）では、これらの装置上で機能するプログラムを事前に開発し、このプログラムを有するＲＯＭなどを装置内に配設した状態で利用者に販売していた。

ところが、プログラムをＲＯＭに書き込んだ画像形成装置を販売することとすると、プログラムの一部を更新する都度新たにＲＯＭを作成し、これを画像形成装置に装着し直さねばならないので、その作業労力が大きい。また、ユーザごとに画像形成装置に対するニーズが異なるため、独自のアプリケーションを望む場合も多い。

このため最近では、ユーザが操作するクライアント装置からアプリ開発ベンダのホームページなどにインターネットを介してアクセスし、ユーザが提示した開発委託条件を満たすアプリケーションプログラムの開発を該アプリ開発ベンダに業務委託することが多い。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、あるアプリケーションをユーザが望む場合に、該アプリケーションを特定のアプリ開発ベンダに業務委託することとすると、たとえこのアプリ開発ベンダが法外な対価を要求した場合であっても、当該ユーザはその対価を支払わざるを得ないので、適正な業務委託をおこなえるとは限らない。

また、ユーザがアプリケーションのコストを下げたい場合には、様々なアプリ開発ベンダに対して見積もりを出させ、その結果を比較検討してアプリ開発ベンダを選定する必要があるので、業者選定に係るユーザの労力が過大となる。

さらに、複数のユーザが同様の機能仕様を持つアプリケーションを希望する場合であっても、各ユーザはそれぞれ別個にアプリ開発ベンダに業務委託をおこなうことになるので、重複したアプリケーションが別個に作成されることになり、効率的ではない。

これらのことから、ユーザが画像形成装置のアプリケーションの開発をアプリ開発ベンダに業務委託する場合に、その開発コスト並びに業者選定に係るユーザの労力をいかに軽減するかが極めて重要な課題となっている。

この発明は、上述した従来技術による問題点を解消するためになされたものであり、ユーザが画像形成装置のアプリケーションの開発をアプリ開発ベンダに業務委託する場合に、その開発コスト並びに業者選定に係るユーザの労力を軽減することができるアプリ開発仲介システム、アプリ開発仲介サーバ、アプリ開発仲介方法およびその方法をコンピュータに実行させるプログラムを記録したコンピュータ読み取り可能な記録媒体を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上述した課題を解決し、目的を達成するため、請求項１の発明に係るアプリ開発仲介システムは、画像形成装置を利用するユーザが操作するユーザクライアント装置と、前記画像形成装置に係るアプリケーションを開発するアプリ開発ベンダが操作するベンダクライアント装置と、前記ユーザクライアント装置とベンダクライアント装置の間に介在しアプリケーションの開発を仲介するアプリ開発仲介サーバとを有するアプリ開発仲介システムにおいて、前記アプリ開発仲介サーバは、前記ベンダクライアント装置のネットワーク識別情報を予め登録したベンダ登録記憶手段と、前記アプリケーションを記憶可能なアプリ記憶手段と、前記ユーザクライアント装置から前記アプリケーションの開発委託条件を受信する受信手段と、受信した前記開発委託条件を、前記ベンダ登録記憶手段に登録された前記ネットワーク識別情報の前記ベンダクライアント装置に送信する開発委託条件提示手段と、前記開発委託条件提示手段による送信に応答して各ベンダクライアント装置から返送され、受託希望対価を含む開発受託条件を受信し、応答があった各ベンダクライアント装置から受信した前記開発受託条件の前記受託希望対価に基づいて選定された前記開発を依頼するアプリ開発ベンダの前記ベンダクライアント装置に対して開発指示の旨を送信する開発指示手段と、前記開発指示手段により前記開発指示を送信された前記ベンダクライアント装置から開発された前記アプリケーションを受信して、受信した前記アプリケーションを前記アプリ記憶手段に記憶するアプリケーション受信手段と、前記ユーザの前記画像形成装置の利用状況に基づいて調整された、前記ユーザクライアント装置から対価の支払いに相当する情報を受信した場合に、前記アプリ記憶手段に記憶した前記アプリケーションを前記ユーザクライアント装置に対して送信可能とする送信手段と、を備え、前記送信手段は、前記ユーザクライアント装置に対応する画像形成装置に対して、前記アプリ記憶手段から読み出した前記アプリケーションを送信することを特徴とする。

この請求項１の発明によれば、アプリ開発仲介サーバは、ユーザクライアント装置からアプリケーションの開発委託条件を受信し、受信した開発委託条件を、ベンダ登録記憶手段に登録されたネットワーク識別情報のベンダクライアント装置に送信し、送信に応答して各ベンダクライアント装置から返送され、受託希望対価を含む開発受託条件を受信し、応答があった各ベンダクライアント装置から受信した開発受託条件の受託希望対価に基づいて選定された開発を依頼するアプリ開発ベンダのベンダクライアント装置に対して開発指示の旨を送信することとしたので、アプリ開発仲介サーバ上でアプリ開発ベンダの選定などをおこなうことができる。

この請求項１の発明によれば、開発指示を送信されたベンダクライアント装置から開発されたアプリケーションを受信して、受信したアプリケーションをアプリ記憶手段に記憶し、ユーザの画像形成装置の利用状況に基づいて前記対価を調整された、ユーザクライアント装置から対価の支払いに相当する情報を受信した場合に、アプリ記憶手段に記憶したアプリケーションを読み出して、読み出したアプリケーションをユーザクライアント装置に対して送信可能とすることとしたので、複数のユーザクライアント装置にアプリケーションを順次送信し、また同じユーザクライアント装置に繰り返しアプリケーションを送信することができる。また、対価の支払いに相当する情報は、ユーザクライアント装置の前記画像形成装置の利用状況に基づいて前記対価を調整されているので、画像形成装置の利用頻度が多い場合にはアプリケーションの対価を低く抑制するなどの処置を講じ、もって画像形成装置の利用促進を図ることが可能となる。

また、請求項２の発明に係るアプリ開発仲介システムは、前記アプリ記憶手段に記憶した開発済みのアプリケーションのプログラム識別情報と前記アプリケーションの前記アプリ記憶手段におけるリンク先アドレスとを少なくとも有するアプリケーション公開情報を、掲示板記憶手段に記憶された電子掲示板上に送信して登録する公開手段と、前記公開手段により登録された前記アプリケーション公開情報の中の前記プログラム識別情報を指定した前記アプリケーションの使用要求を他のユーザクライアント装置から受信した場合には、当該他のユーザクライアント装置からの対価の支払いに相当する情報を受信した場合に、前記使用要求で指定された前記プログラム識別情報に対応する前記アプリケーションを、前記アプリ記憶手段から読み出して、読み出した前記アプリケーションを、当該他のユーザクライアント装置に送信する公開アプリ処理手段と、と、をさらに備えたことを特徴とする。

この請求項２の発明によれば、アプリ記憶手段に記憶した開発済みのアプリケーションのプログラム識別情報とアプリケーションのアプリ記憶手段におけるリンク先アドレスとを少なくとも有するアプリケーション公開情報を、掲示板記憶手段に記憶された電子掲示板上に送信して登録し、登録されたアプリケーション公開情報の中のプログラム識別情報を指定したアプリケーションの使用要求を他のユーザクライアント装置から受信した場合には、当該他のユーザクライアント装置からの対価の支払いに相当する情報を受信した場合に、使用要求で指定されたプログラム識別情報に対応するアプリケーションを、アプリ記憶手段から読み出して、読み出したアプリケーションを、当該他のユーザクライアント装置に送信することとしたので、重複したアプリケーションの開発を抑制することができる。

また、請求項３の発明に係るアプリ開発仲介システムは、前記受信手段によって前記ユーザクライアント装置から前記アプリケーションの開発委託条件を受信した場合に、受信した前記開発委託条件を、掲示板記憶手段に記憶された電子掲示板上に送信して登録する募集手段をさらに備え、前記送信手段は、共同購入の希望を受け付けた一または複数の前記ユーザクライアント装置から、前記アプリケーションの開発費用を分担した対価の支払いに相当する情報を受信して、前記アプリ記憶手段に記憶した前記アプリケーションを前記ユーザクライアント装置に送信可能とすることを特徴とする。

この請求項３の発明によれば、ユーザクライアント装置からアプリケーションの開発委託条件を受信した場合に、受信した開発委託条件を、掲示板記憶手段に記憶された電子掲示板上に送信して登録し、共同購入の希望を受け付けた一または複数のユーザクライアント装置から、アプリケーションの開発費用を分担した対価の支払いに相当する情報を受信して、アプリ記憶手段に記憶したアプリケーションをを前記ユーザクライアント装置に送信可能とすることとしたので、各ユーザのアプリケーション開発負担を軽減することができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下に添付図面を参照して、この発明に係るアプリ開発仲介システム、アプリ開発仲介サーバ、アプリ開発仲介方法およびその方法をコンピュータに実行させるプログラムを記録したコンピュータ読み取り可能な記録媒体の好適な実施の形態を詳細に説明する。

（実施の形態１）
まず最初に、本実施の形態１に係るアプリ開発仲介システムのシステム構成について説明する。図１は、本実施の形態１に係るアプリ開発仲介システムのシステム構成を示すブロック図である。

同図に示すように、このアプリ開発仲介システムは、ユーザクライアント装置１０および複合機１１と、ユーザクライアント装置１２および複合機１３と、ベンダクライアント装置１６〜１８と、アプリ開発仲介サーバ１５とがインターネット１４を介して接続して構成される。

ユーザクライアント装置１０または１２は、複合機１１または１３をそれぞれ利用するユーザが操作するインターネット端末であり、複合機１１または１３上のアプリケーションの開発をアプリ開発仲介サーバ１５に依頼する際に利用される。

具体的には、このユーザクライアント装置１０または１２は、アプリケーションの機能仕様、委託希望対価および委託希望納期を含む開発委託条件をアプリ開発仲介サーバ１５に対して送信してアプリケーションの開発委託をおこなう。

そして、アプリケーションの作成完了通知をアプリ開発仲介サーバ１５から受け取ったならば、あらかじめ定められた手順によりその対価を支払った後に、当該アプリケーションをアプリ開発仲介サーバ１５からダウンロードする。また、このアプリケーションは複合機１１または１３に直接ダウンロードすることもできる。

複合機１１および１３は、ファクシミリ、コピー、スキャナなどの機能を有する画像形成装置であり、ｈｔｔｐ、ｆｔｐなどの通信プロトコルを用いてアプリ開発仲介サーバ１５上のアプリケーションをダウンロードできる機能と、該ダウンロードしたアプリケーションを実行できる機能とを有する。

ベンダクライアント装置１６〜１８は、複合機１１または１３上で動作するアプリケーションを開発する業者のインターネット端末であり、あらかじめアプリ開発仲介サーバ１５に登録される。そして、このアプリ開発仲介サーバ１５から開発委託条件を受け付けたならば、そのアプリケーション機能仕様、受託希望価格、受託希望納期を有する開発受託条件をアプリ開発仲介サーバ１５に返送する。

その後、アプリ開発仲介サーバ１５からアプリケーションの開発指示を受け付けたならば、開発業者として選定されたものと判断してアプリケーションの開発をおこない、開発したアプリケーションをアプリ開発仲介サーバ１５にファイル転送する。なお、落選の通知を受け付けた場合には、アプリケーションの開発はおこなわない。

アプリ開発仲介サーバ１５は、ユーザクライアント装置１０および１２と、ベンダクライアント１６〜１８との間に介在し、複合機上で動作するアプリケーションの開発を仲介するｈｔｔｐサーバである。

図２は、図１に示したアプリ開発仲介サーバ１５の構成を示す機能ブロック図である。同図に示すように、このアプリ開発仲介サーバ１５は、インタフェース部１５ａと、ベンダ登録部１５ｂと、ベンダ検索部１５ｃと、ベンダ選定部１５ｄと、アプリ記憶部１５ｅとを有する。

インタフェース部１５ａは、ＴＣＰ／ＩＰの通信プロトコルにしたがってインターネット１４に接続するインターネット端末との間でデータ授受をおこなう入出力部である。

ベンダ登録部１５ｂは、あらかじめ依頼を受けたアプリ開発ベンダのベンダクライアント装置１６〜１８を登録する処理部であり、具体的には、そのベンダクライアント装置１６〜１８のＩＰアドレスとともにアプリケーションの開発可能分野についても登録する。その理由は、アプリ開発ベンダの中には、画面制御プログラムの開発にのみ対応するアプリ開発ベンダ、ファクシミリ機能にのみ対応するアプリ開発ベンダ、複合機上で動作するあらゆるアプリケーションの開発に対応するアプリ開発ベンダといった様々なアプリ開発ベンダが存在するからである。

ベンダ検索部１５ｃは、ユーザクライアント装置１０または１２から開発委託条件を受け付けた際に、その開発委託条件のアプリケーション種別に対応可能な業者を検索する処理部である。ユーザから基本機能に係るアプリケーションの開発依頼を受け付けた場合に、この開発に明らかに対応できないアプリ開発ベンダについてまで開発受託条件を提示させることとすると、その後の業者選定上効率的ではなく、また当該アプリ開発ベンダに余計な手間をかけさせることになるからである。

ベンダ選定部１５ｄは、開発委託条件を送信して開発検討を依頼した各アプリ開発ベンダのベンダクライアント装置１６〜１８から開発受託条件の返信を受け付けた際に、この開発受託条件に基づいてアプリケーションの開発を委託するアプリ開発ベンダを選定する処理部である。

たとえば、ユーザが支払うべきコストが最小となるアプリ開発ベンダを選定する場合には、各ベンダクライアント装置１６〜１８から返信される開発受託条件に含まれる受託希望対価をそれぞれ比較し、この受託希望対価が最も低額なアプリ開発ベンダを選定することになる。

アプリ記憶部１５ｅは、各ベンダクライアント装置１６〜１８がｆｔｐなどでファイル転送したアプリケーション（プログラム）を記憶する記憶部である。そして、該当するユーザクライアント装置から対価の支払いを受け付けた際に、このアプリ記憶部１５ｅに記憶したアプリケーションを送信する。なお、かかるアプリ記憶部１５ｅに既成のアプリケーションを順次蓄積することにより、該既成のアプリケーションを再利用することもできる。

次に、図１に示したユーザクライアント装置１０または１２、アプリ開発仲介サーバ１５、ベンダクライアント１６〜１８の処理手順について説明する。図３は、図１に示したユーザクライアント装置１０または１２、アプリ開発仲介サーバ１５、ベンダクライアント１６〜１８の処理手順をそれぞれ示すシーケンス図である。

同図に示すように、ユーザクライアント装置１０がアプリ開発仲介サーバ１５に対して開発委託条件を送信した場合には（ステップＳ３０１）、このアプリ開発仲介サーバ１５は、開発委託条件のアプリケーション開発に対応可能なアプリ開発ベンダを検索する（ステップＳ３０２）。

そして、ベンダクライアント装置１６および１７のアプリ開発ベンダが検索された場合には、これらのベンダクライアント装置１６および１７に対して開発委託条件を送信して、アプリケーションの開発検討依頼をおこなう（ステップＳ３０３）。

その後、アプリ開発ベンダ側では、アプリケーション機能仕様、受託希望対価並びに受託希望納期などについて検討し、これらの情報を含む開発受託条件をベンダクライアント装置１６または１７から送信する（ステップＳ３０４）。

アプリ開発仲介サーバ１５が、この開発受託条件をベンダクライアント装置１６または１７から受信したならば、この開発受託条件に基づいてアプリ開発ベンダの選定をおこない（ステップＳ３０５）、選定されなかったアプリ開発ベンダのベンダクライアント装置１７に対して落選を通知するとともに（ステップＳ３０６）、選定されたアプリ開発ベンダのベンダクライアント装置１６に対して開発指示をおこなう（ステップＳ３０７）。

その後、ベンダクライアント装置１６のアプリ開発ベンダは、アプリケーションの開発をおこない（ステップＳ３０８）、開発したアプリケーションをアプリ開発仲介サーバ１５に転送する（ステップＳ３０９）。そして、アプリ開発仲介サーバ１５は、アプリケーションの作成完了通知をおこなうとともに（ステップＳ３１０）、開発済みのアプリケーションをアプリ記憶部１５ｅに記憶する（ステップＳ３１１）。

そして、アプリ開発仲介サーバ１５は、ユーザクライアント装置１０から対価の支払いを受け付けたならば（ステップＳ３１２）、その対価をアプリ開発ベンダクライアント装置１６に送信するとともに（ステップＳ３１３）、ユーザクライアント装置１０によるアプリケーションのダウンロードを可能とする（ステップＳ３１４）。

なお、かかる対価の支払いは、あらかじめ定められたルールにしたがうこととすれば、その手順や支払い要領はいかなるものでも良い。たとえば、ユーザがあらかじめアプリ開発仲介サーバ１５から使用ライセンスを取得しておき、取引額を含むライセンス情報の送信により対価の支払いとみなすよう構成することができる。

また、複合機１１または１３の利用頻度が高い場合には、アプリケーション開発に伴う対価を調整する（抑制する）こともできる。かかる調整をおこなうことにより、複合機の利用促進を図ることができる。

上述してきたように、本実施の形態１では、アプリ開発仲介サーバ１５がユーザクライアント装置１０から開発委託条件を受け付けたならば、ベンダクライアント装置１６および１７に開発委託条件を送信する。そして、アプリ開発仲介サーバ１５は、この開発委託条件に応じて返送される各開発受託条件に基づいて、アプリ開発ベンダの選定をおこない、対価の支払いを条件としてアプリケーションのダウンロードを可能とするよう構成したので、ユーザが複合機のアプリケーションの開発をアプリ開発ベンダに業務委託する場合に、その開発コスト並びに業者選定に係るユーザの労力を軽減することができる。

（実施の形態２）
ところで、上記実施の形態１では、新たにアプリケーションを開発する場合を示したが、アプリ開発仲介サーバ１５のアプリ記憶部１５ｅには、既成のアプリケーションが蓄積されているので、この既成のアプリケーションを他のユーザが再利用することもできる。

そこで、本実施の形態２では、既成のアプリケーションを他のユーザが再利用する場合を示すこととする。なお、アプリ開発仲介システムのシステム構成は図１に示すものと同様のものとなるので、ここではその説明を省略する。

図４は、本実施の形態２に係るアプリ開発仲介サーバ４０の構成を示す機能ブロック図である。同図に示すように、このアプリ開発仲介サーバ４０は、図２に示したアプリ開発仲介サーバ１５に既成アプリ処理部４１を付加した構成となる。

既成アプリ処理部４１は、アプリ記憶部１５ｅに記憶した既成のアプリケーションを電子掲示板上に公開するとともに、該公開したアプリケーションの使用要求をユーザクライアント装置から受け付けた場合には、対価の支払いを条件として該当するアプリケーションを送信する処理部である。

すなわち、この既成アプリ処理部４１では、すでに作成した資産（アプリケーション）を有効に再利用して、システム全体としての作業効率を上げる役割を担っている。

図５は、図４に示した既成アプリ処理部４１により公開される電子掲示板の一例を示す図である。同図に示すように、ここではプログラム番号、名称、リンク先アドレス、利用対価および機能仕様アドレスを公開しているので、ユーザは、これらの情報を参考にして既成アプリケーションを利用するか否かを判断する。

そして、たとえばプログラム番号「１０１１」のフォーム印刷プログラムを希望する場合には、ユーザクライアント装置から当該プログラム番号をアプリ開発仲介サーバ４０に送信するとともに、該当する対価の支払いをおこなってプログラムをダウンロードする。

図６は、図４に示した既成アプリ処理部４１およびユーザクライアント装置の処理手順を示すシーケンス図である。同図に示すように、この既成アプリ処理部４１は、アプリ記憶部１５ｅに記憶した既成アプリを電子掲示板に掲示する（ステップＳ６０１）。

そして、ユーザクライアント装置１２のユーザが、この電子掲示板に掲示される既成プログラムを確認し、所定の既成プログラムを利用したい場合には（ステップＳ６０２）、アプリ開発仲介サーバ４０にアクセスして対価を支払うとともに（ステップＳ６０３）、該当する既成プログラムをアプリ開発仲介サーバ４０からダウンロードする（ステップＳ６０４）。

なお、このユーザクライアント装置１２から支払った対価は、その持ち分に応じてアプリケーションの所有者に対してキックバックされる（ステップＳ６０５）。これにより、新たなアプリケーションの開発を委託したユーザと、このアプリケーションを利用するユーザとの公正性を確保することができる。

上述してきたように、本実施の形態２では、既成アプリ処理部４１により、アプリ記憶部１５ｅに記憶した既成のアプリケーションを電子掲示板上に公開するとともに、該公開したアプリケーションの使用要求をユーザクライアント装置から受け付けた場合には、対価の支払いを条件として該当するアプリケーションを送信するよう構成したので、既成のアプリケーションを有効に利用することができる。

（実施の形態３）
上記実施の形態１では、あるユーザが単独でアプリケーションの開発をアプリ開発ベンダに依頼する場合を示したが、開発するアプリケーションの機能仕様に賛同するユーザとともにアプリケーションを共同購入すれば、ユーザにとってのアプリケーションの開発負担が少なくなる。

そこで、本実施の形態３では、アプリケーションの機能仕様に賛同するユーザとともに共同でアプリケーションを購入する場合について説明する。なお、アプリ開発仲介システムのシステム構成は図１に示すものと同様のものとなるので、ここではその説明を省略する。

図７は、本実施の形態３に係るアプリ開発仲介サーバ７０の構成を示す機能ブロック図である。同図に示すように、このアプリ開発仲介サーバ７０は、図２に示したアプリ開発仲介サーバ１５に共同購入処理部７１を付加した構成となる。
