本発明は、スーパーマーケット・コンビニエンスストア・デパート等の食品売場で用いるオープンショーケース、特に冷蔵食品や生鮮食品を陳列販売するのに用いるオープンショーケースへ風防ガラスを取付けるのに良好な窓ガラスの取付構造に関する。

【従来の技術】
この種のオープンショーケースにおける風防ガラス取付構造において、ケース本体の側板に前方が開放する切欠部を設け、その周縁部にトリムを取付け、開放側から風防ガラスを嵌め込んで、この風防ガラスの前縁部を、トリムに結合した保持杆によって覆わせたものは、特願昭9−49169号明細書に記載されている。

しかし、このものでは、ショッピングカート・買物かご・陳列用ストッカー等がぶつかり易い風防ガラスの前縁を、保持杆が覆うだけであるため、保護し切れずに風防ガラスを損傷することがある。そこで、保持杆を大型で強固なものにすれば解決できるが、これでは、ショーケースの体裁が損なわれることとなる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】

本発明は、上記のオープンショーケースにおける風防ガラス取付構造に見られる問題点を解消して、オープンショーケースの体裁は損なわず、風防ガラスの保護は確実に行なわれ、しかも取付操作も簡単な、オープンショーケースにおける風防ガラスなどの窓ガラスの取付構造を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明によると、上記課題は次のようにして解決される。
(1) 前面が開口するオープンショーケースにおける窓ガラス取付構造であって、ケース本体の左右の側板に、窓ガラスとほぼ相似形であって、少なくとも一方向の寸法が、対応する方向の窓ガラスの寸法よりも若干大きい寸法を有する窓ガラス取付用開口部を穿設するとともに、この開口部を台形に形成し、窓ガラスを、上記開口部における台形の上下辺のうち長寸の底辺側から嵌め込み、かつ短寸を有する上辺側に移動させて嵌合させた後に、両者の底辺側の間に生じた間隙を、スペーサーをもって閉塞する。

(2) 上記(1)項において、窓ガラスの周縁部のうち、スペーサーが位置する縁部の内外に、ガラス抑えを付設する。

(3) 上記(1)項において、窓ガラス取付用開口部の周縁部に横断面形状が凹状のトリムを取付けた後に、窓ガラスを上記開口部に嵌め込む。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明のオープンショーケースにおける窓ガラス取付構造の実施形態を、添付図面を参照しながら説明する。

オープンショーケースの一例である冷蔵ショーケースは、ケース本体(1)の左右の両側版(2)が、図4に示すように、内側板(2a)と外側板(2b)との間に空間を有しており、この空間に発泡剤(3)を充填させることにより断熱構造としたもので、側板(2)には、窓ガラス取付用開口部(4)が穿設されている。

前記、開口部(4)は、外側から風防ガラス(5)の嵌め込みができるようにするため、その形状を、前方より後方の幅が徐々に狭くなる台形とし、その周面にはトリム(6)を取付けてある。

また、開口部(4)の形状は、前記とは反対に、後方よりも前方の幅が狭くなる台形、あるいは、上方よりも下方の幅が狭くなる台形、もしくはその反対に、下方よりも上方が狭くなる台形等としてもよい。

開口部(4)の周面に取付けられるトリム(6)は、図4に示すように、凹状に、好ましくは谷状に形成され、風防ガラス(5)が当たると斜面によってこれを自然に中央部へ寄せるようにしてある。

風防ガラス(5)は、開口部(4)へ外側から嵌め込まれるため、図3(a)に示すように、開口部(4)とほぼ相似形状で、これよりも少し小さく形成され、同図のように、開口部(4)内へ台形の上下辺のうち長寸の底辺側から嵌め込んで、短寸の上辺側へ移動させると、風防ガラス(5)は台形の上辺側に密着し、底辺側に間隙(7)が生じる。

ケース本体(1)は、図2に示すように、開口する前面の上下間にエアカーテンを形成させるため、冷気の吹出口を有する上部フロントダクト(11)とエアカーテンの冷気を後方に偏向する下部フロントダクト(12)とを付設し、下部フロントダクト(12)は、陳列用カート(図示してない)を出し入れするため昇降させる。このため下部フロントダクト(12)の昇降を案内する昇降ガイド(13)を側板(2)の窓ガラス取付用開口部(4)より前方の部分に取り付ける。

【発明の効果】
本発明によると、次のような効果を奏することができる。
(a) 請求項1記載の発明によれば、側板と風防ガラスとが一体感を呈して体裁が良く、かつ風防ガラスの前縁が側板により保護されるため、カート等のぶつかりに対しても、風防ガラスの保護が確実に行なわれる。
また、下部フロントダクトを昇降させるための昇降ガイドを、側板へ取付けることができる。

さらに、側板の四方を囲まれた窓ガラス取付用開口部に、外側から風防ガラスを、簡単にしかも確実に取付けることができる。
