本発明は、打栓によって容器の口部に嵌着させるようにした合成樹脂製のキャップに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
打栓によって容器の口部に強制嵌合させるタイプのキャップは、バージン性を確実に保証できるという利点や、注出口の形状を自由に設定できる等の利点がある一方で、容器から分離することが困難であるため、使用後において容器をリサイクルしたり廃棄処理したりするに際して、キャップと容器とを分別し難いという問題があった（特にガラス瓶の場合、リサイクルのためには必ずキャップを取り外さなければならないため、分別の問題が顕著になる。）。

そこで、本願出願人は、特開平 7− 61454号において、キャップのうち容器の口部に嵌着する嵌合部に、当該嵌合部を引き裂くための薄肉状の弱化部と撮み片とを設けることを提案した。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
前記公報の構成によると、撮み片を指先で摘んでキャップの嵌合部を弱化部に沿って引き裂くことにより、使用後にキャップを容器から簡単に取り外すことができる。しかし、この先行技術のようにキャップに弱化部を設けると、それだけ容器の口部に対する嵌合強度が低くなると共に、打栓工程で弱化部が破断してしまう虞があるという問題があった。

本発明は、容器の口部への嵌合強度を低下させることなく、キャップを容器から簡単に取り外しできるようにすることを目的とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、容器の口部の外側から嵌まる外嵌合部を有するとともに注出口が設けられた嵌合部と、前記嵌合部の上端にヒンジを介して一体的に設けられた開閉自在な蓋とから成り、前記嵌合部を容器の口部に打栓によって強制嵌合することにより、容器に取り付けたままで使用されるようになっており、且つ、前記嵌合部には、当該嵌合部を容器の口部から強引に引き離すための指掛け部が一体に設けられているキャップにおいて、前記指掛け部は、前記ヒンジの下方を除いて嵌合部を囲うようにリング状に形成されており、前記指掛け部の両端を嵌合部に一体に連結している。

【作用・効果】
本発明においては、リング状の指掛け部に指を掛けて強く引っ張ることにより、キャップを容器の口部から引き離すもので、使用後に簡単に容器口部から簡単に取り外すことができる。
