前記捕集管内部に、該捕集管の他方側に収容された捕集剤を押え付けて保持する押え材を配設し、
前記試験体は、前記捕集管内に挿入可能な所定の寸法で裁断し、これより大寸の金属箔の上面に載せ、金属箔を折り畳んで完全に囲繞した後、試験体表面側の金属箔をカッターにより所定の寸法で切り取り、表面側のみを暴露状態としたものを用いることを特徴とする汚染物質放散量の測定方法が提供される。
汚染物質放散量の測定装置は、図1に示されるように、空気供給側から順に、清浄空気供給ユニット3と、活性炭槽4と、調湿ユニット5と、静的ミキサー6と、測定用試験体と放散ガスを吸着する捕集剤とを1つの捕集管内に共存させた捕集管7と、さらに積算流量計8とを連設したものである。
前記捕集管7(Tenax管)は内径が12φmmであるため、前記試験体1は捕集管7(Tenax管)内に挿入可能なサイズで作製されなければいけない。そのため、以下の手順で作製したものを試験体1とするのが望ましい。
ビニル床シートロールの中央部から11.5mm×52mmのサイズで裁断し、アルミ箔で完全に囲繞した後、表面部のアルミ箔を10mm×50mmの寸法で切り取り、表面を暴露状態とした試験体を作製した。
図1に示される測定装置を使用し、本発明に係る測定方法に従って、測定用試験体1と、放散ガスを吸着する捕集剤10とを1つの捕集管内に共存させた捕集管7を用いたケース(実施例)と、比較のために図5に示されるように、連設した2つの捕集管11,12の内、上流側の捕集管11に試験体1を収容して揮発兼用の一次捕集管11とし、下流側の捕集管12に捕集剤10を充填して二次捕集管としたケース(比較例)との2ケースについてそれぞれ実験を行った。なお、揮発性有機化合物の放散量の測定は下表1の条件で行った。
キャリアガスを所定時間、流通させた後、実施例に係る捕集管7、及び比較例に係る一次捕集管11及び二次捕集管12を熱脱着型ガスクロマトグラフ質量分析計(GC/MS)により、下表2及び3の条件で分析した。
本発明に係る実施例のガスクロマトグラフ質量分析結果は下表4のとおりであり、比較例に係るガスクロマトグラフ質量分析結果は下表5のとおりであった。なお、ブランクは捕集管をセットしない状態で、不可避的に生じてしまう分析数値である。
Claims (1)
- 1つの捕集管の一方側に試験体を収容するとともに、他方側に捕集剤を収容し、前記試験体収容側を上流側として、所定温度のキャリアガスを所定流量及び所定時間で供給し、前記試験体から放散される揮発性有機化合物を捕集管内壁面に付着させるとともに、前記捕集剤で捕集した後、この捕集管を熱脱着型ガスクロマトグラフ質量分析計(GC/MS)の加熱脱着部にセットし、揮発性有機化合物の全放散量を算出する汚染物質放散量の測定方法であって、
前記捕集管内部に、該捕集管の他方側に収容された捕集剤を押え付けて保持する押え材を配設し、
前記試験体は、前記捕集管内に挿入可能な所定の寸法で裁断し、これより大寸の金属箔の上面に載せ、金属箔を折り畳んで完全に囲繞した後、試験体表面側の金属箔をカッターにより所定の寸法で切り取り、表面側のみを暴露状態としたものを用いることを特徴とする汚染物質放散量の測定方法。
