Claims (10)
- 前面発光型有機電界発光表示装置において、
複数の有機発光ダイオードが含まれた画素領域と、前記画素領域に駆動信号を供給するための走査駆動部が含まれた非画素領域を含む第1基板と、
前記画素領域及び前記非画素領域の少なくとも一領域と重なるように前記第1基板の上部に配置された第2基板と、
前記第1基板及び前記第2基板との間に位置し、前記第1及び第2基板を接着させるフリットを含み、
前記第2基板は、中央部の厚みが縁の厚みよりも小さいエッジ基板であり、
前記走査駆動部は、前記第2基板の中央部と前記第1基板との間に位置し、
前記フリットは前記走査駆動部上の少なくとも一領域を含む前記非画素領域の少なくとも一部と重なるように形成され、
前記走査駆動部は、自身の上部に形成されたフリットと接着されないことを特徴とする有機電界発光表示装置。 - 前記フリットは、ガラス材料と、レーザまたは赤外線を吸収するための吸収材と、熱膨張係数を減少させるためのフィラーとを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記第1及び第2基板の縁部分と対応するフリットの厚みは、前記走査駆動部と重なるフリットの厚みと同一に設定されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 有機発光ダイオードが備えられた画素領域及び走査駆動部が備えられた非画素領域が含まれた第1基板と、前記画素領域及び前記非画素領域の少なくとも一領域と重なるように前記第1基板上部に配置された第2基板とを含んで構成される前面発光型有機電界発光表示装置の製造方法において、
前記第1及び第2基板のいずれかの基板に前記走査駆動部上の少なくとも一領域を含む前記非画素領域と対応するようにフリットペーストを塗布し焼成してフリットを形成する段階と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板を貼り合わせる段階と、
前記第1基板及び前記第2基板との間に形成されたフリットのうち前記走査駆動部と重なる部位を除いた部位にレーザまたは赤外線を照射して前記第1及び第2基板を接着させる段階と、を含み、
前記第2基板は、中央部の厚みが縁の厚みよりも小さいエッジ基板であり、
前記走査駆動部は、前記第2基板の中央部と前記第1基板との間に位置することを特徴とする有機電界発光表示装置の製造方法。 - 前記レーザ及び赤外線の波長は、800nm〜1200nmに設定することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の有機電界発光表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記レーザまたは赤外線を照射する段階において、前記走査駆動部と重なるように形成されたフリットと、前記画素領域を含む素子が形成された領域はマスキングされることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の有機電界発光表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記レーザまたは前記赤外線を吸収する吸収材を含むフリットペーストを塗布することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の有機電界発光表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記フリットは前記レーザまたは赤外線を吸収して溶融されることによって、前記第1及び第2基板に接着されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の有機電界発光表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記フリットペーストの焼成温度は、300℃〜500℃に設定されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の有機電界発光表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記フリットペーストは、前記第2基板に塗布されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の有機電界発光表示装置の製造方法。
