Description
しかし、フリットを使って密封する場合にも、硝子材料の割れ易いという性質によって、外部衝撃が加わると、フリットと基板の接着面に応力集中現象が発生し、これにより接着面からクラックが発生して全体基板に拡がってしまうという問題点が発生する。
図2は、本発明による有機電界発光表示装置の平面模式図で、図3aは図2のA−A’の断面図である。

Claims (13)
- 一面に第1電極と第2電極間に有機発光層を含んで構成される有機発光素子が形成された画素領域と前記画素領域外縁に形成される非画素領域を含む第1基板と、
前記第1基板の画素領域を含む一領域上に合着される第2基板と、
前記第1基板の非画素領域と前記第2基板との間に具備されて、前記第1基板と前記第2基板とを接着するフリットと、
接着された前記第1基板と前記第2基板とが装着される、一端が開口された筐状のブラケットと、
前記ブラケットの内壁の側面に塗布されて、接着された前記第1基板及び前記第2基板の隙間に接触して硬化される補強材を含んで構成されるとともに、
前記ブラケットの底面は、前記第1基板を介して前記第2基板と対向するように前記第1基板の裏面全体を覆っているとともに、前記補強材が塗布される前記ブラケットの内壁の側面は平面状であり、
前記ブラケットの底面と前記第1基板の裏面とは両面テープで接着された、
ことを特徴とする有機電界発光表示装置。 - 前記フリットは、レーザまたは赤外線によって融解されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記フリットは、前記第2基板の角から0.3mmないし0.7mmの一定の間隔で離隔されて形成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記フリットの幅は、0.5mmないし1.5mmであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記補強材は、自然硬化されるシアン化アクリレート、または80℃未満の温度で熱硬化されるアクリレート、またはUV硬化されるエポキシまたはアクリレートまたはウレタンアクリレート、で構成されるグループより選択されるひとつであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記補強材は、前記フリットに接することを特徴とする請求項1記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記ブラケットは、金属またはプラスチックであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 有機発光素子を含む第1基板と、前記第1基板の少なくとも画素領域を封止する第2基板とを含んで構成される有機電界発光表示装置の製造方法において、
前記第2基板の角から離隔されるラインを形成するようにフリットを塗布する第1段階と、
前記第2基板に有機発光素子を含む前記第1基板を合着する第2段階と、
合着された前記第1基板及び前記第2基板の間のフリットにレーザまたは赤外線を照射して前記フリットを溶融し、前記第1基板及び前記第2基板を接着する第3段階と、
接着された前記第1基板及び前記第2基板が装着される、一端が開口された筐状のブラケットの内壁の側面に、前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間の隙間を補強するための補強材を塗布する第4段階と、
前記ブラケットの内壁の側面に塗布された前記補強材が、前記第1基板と前記第2基板との隙間に接触するように、接着された前記第1基板及び前記第2基板を装着するとともに、前記ブラケットの底面と前記第1基板の裏面とを両面テープで接着する第5段階と、を含み、
前記ブラケットの底面は、前記第1基板を介して前記第2基板と対向するように前記第1基板の裏面全体を覆っているとともに、前記補強材が塗布される前記ブラケットの内壁の側面は平面状とされた、
ことを特徴とする有機電界発光表示装置の製造方法。 - 前記第3段階で照射されるレーザの出力は、25ないし45ワットであることを特徴とする請求項8記載の有機電界発光表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記第3段階で照射されるレーザ及び赤外線の波長は、800ないし1200nmであることを特徴とする請求項8記載の有機電界発光表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記第4段階で塗布された補強材は、前記第1基板と前記第2基板との隙間に接触するように装着された後、硬化されることを特徴とする請求項8記載の有機電界発光表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記第5段階の後に、補強材に熱を加えて前記補強材を硬化させる段階をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項8記載の有機電界発光表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記第5段階の後に、補強材に紫外線を加えて前記補強材を硬化させる段階をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項8記載の有機電界発光表示装置の製造方法。
