Description
本発明の実施の形態1におけるターボ式血液ポンプの基本的な構造は、図6および図7に示した従来例のものと同様である。従って、図6および図7に示した要素と同様の要素については、同一の参照符号を付して、説明の繰り返しを簡略化する。
本発明の実施の形態2におけるターボ式血液ポンプについて、図5に示すインペラ25の上面図を参照して説明する。本実施の形態におけるターボ式血液ポンプの構造は、概ね実施の形態1におけるものと同様である。

Claims (5)
- ポンプ室、入口ポートおよび出口ポートを有するハウジングと、
前記ポンプ室内に回転自在に支持されたインペラと、
前記インペラを回転駆動するための駆動力伝達要素とを備え、
前記インペラは、上部軸受けと下部軸受けにより上下端で回転自在に支持された回転軸と、複数のベーンと、少なくとも一部の前記ベーンの内周側を前記回転軸に結合するアームと、前記各ベーンの外周側に連結された環状連結部と、前記環状連結部の下部に配置された従動磁石部とを有し、
前記駆動力伝達要素は、前記ハウジングの外側下部に配置され回動可能なロータに設けられた駆動磁石部と前記インペラの前記従動磁石部とが、前記ハウジングの底部壁を挟んで対向し、磁気結合を介して前記ロータの回転が前記インペラに伝達されることにより構成されたターボ式血液ポンプにおいて、
前記インペラは、前記回転軸と前記環状連結部の間に亘る領域の前記ベーンの下方に配置された封鎖部材を備え、
前記封鎖部材は、前記回転軸と前記環状連結部の間に亘る領域の空間を、少なくとも前記回転軸の周囲に開口部を残して封鎖していることを特徴とするターボ式血液ポンプ。 - 前記環状連結部及び前記従動磁石部の形成する円筒形内周面に包囲された前記インペラの下部の領域の空間に対応させて、前記ハウジングの底部中央部に上方に突出した円筒形外周面を有する台座が形成され、前記台座に前記下部軸受けが設けられた請求項1に記載のターボ式血液ポンプ。
- 前記封鎖部材の開口部は、前記回転軸と同心の円形であり、
前記封鎖部材の開口部の直径をd、前記台座の円筒形外周面の直径をDとしたとき、前記開口部の直径dは、0.12D≦d≦0.3Dの範囲に設定されている請求項2に記載のターボ式血液ポンプ。 - 前記開口部の直径dは、0.12D≦d≦0.225Dの範囲に設定されている請求項3に記載のターボ式血液ポンプ。
- 前記封鎖部材の前記開口部は、前記回転軸と同心の円形の領域から放射状に延びた複数の放射状領域を含む請求項3に記載のターボ式血液ポンプ。
