投函物を取出すための取出口が郵便受け箱本体正面に形成され、前記取出口を開閉する下開き式の取出し用扉の前方に間隔を隔てて前面パネルが接続固定されている郵便受け箱であって、
取出口の左右縁部の少なくともいずれか一方の縁部にダンパーが配設され、取出し用扉の開放に従い取出し用扉の裏面下端部をダンパーの緩衝軸と接触させ、このダンパーの緩衝力で取出し用扉の開放を緩やかにすること、及び、郵便受け箱本体の底面前部に、幅方向全長にわたって、断面略L字状の立ち上がり部が設けられており、立ち上がり部先端のヒンジを介してつながる前記取出し用扉の開き角度を制限するストッパーとなり、かつ、受け箱内部への雨水のはね・侵入を防止することを特徴とする郵便受け箱。
