Claims (5)
- ロール素材にその軸方向に平行な一つ又は複数の深孔を穿設し、このロール素材の深孔に耐食性及び耐摩耗性の良好な合金粉末を充填して、カプセルを形成し、このカプセルをHIP(熱間等方圧加圧)処理することにより、ロール素材の深孔に合金粉末のHIP層を形成し、その後ロール素材をHIP層の一部が外周部に表れるように円筒状に切削加工すると共に、ロール素材の外周部とHIP層との間にロール素材の軸方向に平行な切欠溝を削成し、この切欠溝に臨むHIP層部分を仕上げ加工してノッチロールのエッジ部を形成するようにしたノッチロールの製造方法。
- ロール素材は丸棒材からなる請求項1に記載のノッチロールの製造方法。
- ロール素材はパイプ材からなる請求項1に記載のノッチロールの製造方法。
- 請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載のノッチロールの製造方法によって、ロール素材の外周面に耐食性及び耐摩耗性の良好な合金粉末がHIP(熱間等方圧加圧)処理された合金粉末のHIP層を形成し、このHIP層にノッチロールのエッジ部が形成されてなるノッチロール。
- ロール素材の外周部に複数個のエッジ部が形成されてなる請求項4に記載のノッチロール。
