Description
Claims (9)
- 有機層を第1および第2電極間に備え、第1および第2電極間に電圧を印加することで有機層に電流を流し発光する有機EL素子を含む画素を複数配列して形成された有機ELパネルであって、
3原色のうちいずれか一色である第1の色の前記有機EL素子は、有機層が前記第1の色で発光し、該第1の色の光を、そのまま前記有機ELパネルの外部に射出し、
前記第1の色とは異なる第2の色の前記有機EL素子は、有機層が白色で発光し、該有機層によって発生した光を、カラーフィルタで第2の色にすることを特徴とする有機ELパネル。 - 請求項1に記載の有機ELパネルにおいて、
前記有機EL素子は、前記有機層として、少なくともホール輸送層と、有機発光層を含み、ホール輸送層は、複数画素に共通の層とすることを特徴とする有機ELパネル。 - 請求項1に記載の有機ELパネルにおいて、
前記有機EL素子は、前記有機層として、電子輸送層と、有機発光層を含み、電子輸送層は、複数画素に共通の層とすることを特徴とする有機ELパネル。 - 請求項1に記載の有機ELパネルにおいて、
前記有機EL素子は、前記有機層として、ホール輸送層と、電子輸送層と、有機発光層を含み、前記ホール輸送層および電子輸送層は、複数画素に共通の層とすることを特徴とする有機ELパネル。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載の有機ELパネルにおいて、
前記カラーフィルタは、2色あり、特定の2色の有機EL素子は、有機層が白色で発光することを特徴とする有機ELパネル。 - 請求項1〜5のいずれか1つに記載の有機ELパネルにおいて、
少なくとも一部の画素は、白色で発光する有機層からの光をそのまま白色光として射出することを特徴とする有機ELパネル。 - 請求項4に記載の有機ELパネルにおいて、
前記白色で発光する有機層は、異なる2色の発光で発光する発光層の積層構造を有し、 前記特定の一色で発光する有機層は、前記発光層の1つが延長されて形成されていることを特徴とする有機ELパネル。 - 請求項7に記載の有機ELパネルにおいて、
前記特定の一色で発光する有機層は、全画素に共通して形成されていることを特徴とする有機ELパネル。 - 請求項7または8に記載の有機ELパネルにおいて、
前記白色で発光する有機層は、青色で発光する層と、オレンジ色で発光する層の2層からなり、前記特定の一色で発光する有機層は、青色で発光する層であることを特徴とする有機ELパネル。
