Description
さらに好ましくは、ハイブリッド車両の制御方法は、利用者の設定入力に基づいて、第1のモードを優先させる制御を解除または禁止するステップをさらに備える。
図1は、この発明の実施の形態1によるハイブリッド車両の全体ブロック図である。図1を参照して、このハイブリッド車両100は、エンジン4と、モータジェネレータMG1,MG2と、動力分割機構3と、車輪2とを備える。また、ハイブリッド車両100は、蓄電装置Bと、システムメインリレーSMRと、昇圧コンバータ10と、インバータ20,30と、コンデンサC1,C2と、ECU(Electronic Control Unit)50とをさらに備える。さらに、ハイブリッド車両100は、電力線ACL1,ACL2と、充電プラグ40と、電圧センサ74と、電流センサ76とをさらに備える。
なお、上記においては、燃料残量のしきい値は、燃料が完全に消費されると燃料配管内に気体が混入して燃料供給に不具合が発生するのを防止する観点から設定されるものとしたが、このしきい値は、上記のようなシステム保全(燃料供給の不具合防止)のために残す燃料よりも大きな値に設定してもよい。すなわち、燃料タンク5に貯蔵される燃料のうち、システム保全のために残す燃料を除いた燃料残量、言い換えると走行用の燃料として使用可能な燃料残量について、所定の燃料を残すように上記のしきい値を設定してもよい。
この変形例1では、EVモードを優先させる制御の実施中に蓄電装置BのSOCがしきい値(図2の規定値Sth2)まで低下したとき、利用者の指示に応じてHVモードへの切替が行なわれる。すなわち、燃料の使用許可が利用者に委ねられる。
燃料タンク5に補給された燃料を長期間使用せずに放置しておくと燃料が劣化(たとえば酸化など)するので、補給された燃料はある程度定期的に使い切ることが好ましい。そこで、この変形例2では、前回の燃料補給時から相当期間経過するなどの規定の条件が成立すると、HVモードを優先させ、積極的に燃料を消費させる。
上記のように、補給された燃料はある程度定期的に使い切ることが好ましい。しかしながら、一方で、上記のように、システム保全(燃料供給の不具合防止)のために、燃料は完全に使い切らずに少量だけ残しておく必要がある。そこで、この変形例3では、燃料を使い切るための指示が利用者により入力装置から入力されたとき、システム保全を考慮しつつ燃料を使い切る制御が実行される。
車両外部の電源から蓄電装置を充電可能なハイブリッド車両においては、利用者によっては、外部電源から供給される電力のみを用いてEVモードで常時走行し、補給された燃料の一部または全部を残しておきたいと考え得る。たとえば、燃費の観点から燃料で走行するよりも電気で走行する方が経済的である場合や、燃料および電力のいずれもが消費されて走行不能になる事態に備え、電力よりも相対的にエネルギー密度の高い燃料を非常用に残しておきたい場合などが想定される。そこで、この実施の形態2では、エンジンの燃料残量を利用者が設定可能とし、燃料残量が設定値まで低下し、かつ、蓄電装置のSOCも低下した場合には、残された燃料が使用されることを利用者に告知してからHVモードへの切替が行なわれる。
上記の実施の形態2では、残しておきたい燃料量を利用者が設定可能としたが、この変形例では、燃料残量設定値に燃料残量を維持するためのEVモード優先制御を利用者が解除可能とし、またはEVモードを優先させる制御への移行を禁止可能とする構成が示される。
Claims (14)
- 内燃機関と、
車両走行用の動力源としての電動機と、
前記内燃機関の燃料残量を検出する燃料残量検出部と、
前記内燃機関を停止させて走行する第1のモードと少なくとも前記内燃機関を動作させて走行する第2のモードとを含む走行モードの切替を制御する制御部とを備え、
前記制御部は、前記燃料残量検出部によって検出された燃料残量が第1の規定値まで低下すると、前記第1のモードを優先させるように前記走行モードの切替を制御し、
前記第1のモードを優先させる制御の実行時、前記第1のモードを優先させる制御の非実行時よりも前記第1のモードでの走行領域が拡大するように、前記第1のモードと前記第2のモードとの切替しきい値が切替えられ、さらに
前記第1の規定値を利用者が設定可能に構成された設定部を備える、ハイブリッド車両。 - 前記設定部は、前記第1のモードを優先させる制御の解除または禁止を利用者がさらに設定可能に構成される、請求項1に記載のハイブリッド車両。
- 前記電動機へ電力を供給可能な蓄電装置と、
前記蓄電装置の充電状態を示す状態量を算出する充電状態算出部と、
前記第1のモードを優先させる制御中に前記充電状態算出部によって算出された前記状態量が第2の規定値以下となったとき、利用者に対して警告を出力する告知部とをさらに備える、請求項1または2に記載のハイブリッド車両。 - 前記制御部は、前記第1のモードを優先させる制御中に前記状態量が前記第2の規定値以下となったとき、前記第1のモードから前記第2のモードへ前記走行モードを切替える、請求項3に記載のハイブリッド車両。
- 前記電動機へ電力を供給可能な蓄電装置と、
前記蓄電装置の充電状態を示す状態量を算出する充電状態算出部と、
前記第1のモードを優先させる制御中に前記充電状態算出部によって算出された前記状態量が第2の規定値以下となったとき、前記第1のモードから前記第2のモードへの前記走行モードの切替を利用者が指示可能に構成された走行モード切替指示部とをさらに備える、請求項1に記載のハイブリッド車両。 - 車両外部から供給される電力を受けて、前記電動機へ電力を供給可能な蓄電装置を充電可能に構成された充電装置をさらに備える、請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載のハイブリッド車両。
- 利用者の操作に応じて前記制御部に指示を与える入力装置をさらに備え、
走行用の燃料として使用可能な燃料残量を使い切ることを指示する操作を前記入力装置が受付けた場合、前記制御部は、前記第2のモードを優先させるように前記走行モードの切替を制御することによって、前記走行用の燃料として使用可能な燃料残量を消費させる、請求項1に記載のハイブリッド車両。 - 内燃機関および車両走行用の動力源としての電動機を搭載し、前記内燃機関を停止させて走行する第1のモードおよび少なくとも前記内燃機関を動作させて走行する第2のモードのいずれかの走行モードで走行可能なハイブリッド車両の制御方法であって、前記制御方法は、前記ハイブリッド車両に搭載された制御装置により実行され、
前記内燃機関の燃料残量を検出するステップと、
その検出された燃料残量が第1の規定値まで低下したか否かを判定するステップと、
前記燃料残量が前記第1の規定値まで低下したと判定されると、前記第1のモードを優先させるように前記走行モードの切替を制御するステップとを備え、
前記第1のモードを優先させる制御の実行時、前記第1のモードを優先させる制御の非実行時よりも前記第1のモードでの走行領域が拡大するように、前記第1のモードと前記第2のモードとの切替しきい値が切替えられ、
前記第1の規定値は、利用者によって設定される、ハイブリッド車両の制御方法。 - 利用者の設定入力に基づいて、前記第1のモードを優先させる制御を解除または禁止するステップをさらに備える、請求項8に記載のハイブリッド車両の制御方法。
- 前記電動機へ電力を供給可能な蓄電装置の充電状態を示す状態量を算出するステップと、
前記状態量が第2の規定値以下であるか否かを判定するステップと、
前記第1のモードを優先させる制御中に前記状態量が前記第2の規定値以下であると判定されると、利用者に対して警告を出力するステップとをさらに備える、請求項8または9に記載のハイブリッド車両の制御方法。 - 前記第1のモードを優先させる制御中に前記状態量が前記第2の規定値以下であると判定されると、前記第1のモードから前記第2のモードへ前記走行モードを切替えるステップをさらに備える、請求項10に記載のハイブリッド車両の制御方法。
- 前記電動機へ電力を供給可能な蓄電装置の充電状態を示す状態量を算出するステップと、
前記状態量が第2の規定値以下であるか否かを判定するステップと、
前記第1のモードを優先させる制御中に前記状態量が前記第2の規定値以下であると判定されたとき、利用者の指示に応じて前記第1のモードから前記第2のモードへ前記走行モードを切替えるステップとをさらに備える、請求項8に記載のハイブリッド車両の制御方法。 - 前記ハイブリッド車両は、車両外部から供給される電力を受けて、前記電動機へ電力を供給可能な蓄電装置を充電可能に構成される、請求項8から12のいずれか1項に記載のハイブリッド車両の制御方法。
- 請求項8から13のいずれか1項に記載のハイブリッド車両の制御方法をコンピュータに実行させるためのプログラムを記録したコンピュータ読取可能な記録媒体。
