Description
本発明は、カテーテルに関し、特に、制御ハンドルを備えた偏向可能なカテーテルに関する。
電極カテーテルは、長年にわたり、医療業務で一般的に使用されてきた。電極カテーテルは、心臓における電気的活動を刺激およびマッピングするため、また、異常な電気的活動の部位を切除するために用いられる。使用中、電極カテーテルは、主要な静脈もしくは動脈、例えば大腿動脈に挿入され、次に、懸念される心臓の室内へ誘導される。心臓内部では、カテーテル先端部の正確な位置および向きを制御する能力が重要であり、この能力は、主として、カテーテルがいかに有用であるかを決定する。
双方向の操縦をもたらし、偏向感度調節を可能にする、カテーテルは、カテーテル本体と、偏向可能な先端部分と、制御ハンドルと、を含み、制御ハンドルは、ユーザー操作に適合する偏向部材、先端部分を偏向するため、伸張性プラー部材を利用する(draw on)ように偏向部材に反応する偏向組立体、および、偏向部材の感度を調節するように構成された調節機構を有する。調節機構はまた、先端部分の偏向の最大度合を対応的に調節する。
調節可能な偏向感度を備えた操縦可能な双方向カテーテル10の実施形態が、図1に例示されている。カテーテル10は、近位端部および遠位端部を有する細長いカテーテル本体12と、カテーテル本体12の遠位端部に設けられた先端部分14と、カテーテル本体12の近位端部に設けられた制御ハンドル16と、を含む。偏向可能な部分14を偏向させるため、カテーテル10は、プラー部材を有し、プラー部材は、制御ハンドルから、カテーテル本体12を通って偏向可能な部分14の中へと延びる。プラー部材の遠位端部は、偏向可能な部分14において固定されており、プラー部材の近位端部は、制御ハンドルにおいて固定されている。カテーテル本体12に対するプラー部材の長さ方向運動は、先端部分14の偏向を結果として生じるが、制御ハンドル16上の偏向アーム18を操作することにより達成される。さらに、偏向感度ノブ24が、制御ハンドルに含まれて、最大偏向の量のユーザー調節、ならびに偏向感度の調節を可能にする。
Claims (19)
- 双方向カテーテルにおいて、
カテーテル本体と、
前記カテーテル本体の遠位にある偏向可能な先端部分と、
伸張性プラー部材と、
前記カテーテル本体の近位にある制御ハンドルであって、前記制御ハンドルは、
ユーザー操作に適合した偏向部材、
前記先端部分を偏向させるための、伸張性プラー部材を利用するよう前記偏向部材に反応する偏向組立体、および、
前記偏向部材の操作に対する前記偏向部材の感度を調節するように構成された調節機構、
を有する、制御ハンドルと、
を含み、
前記偏向組立体は、
回転軸の周りで回転するように構成された滑車アームと、
前記回転軸を挟んで向かい合う位置に位置する2つの滑車と、
を含み、
前記滑車間の分離距離が、前記調節機構により調節可能である、カテーテル。 - 請求項1に記載のカテーテルにおいて、
前記調節機構は、前記先端部分の偏向の最大の度合を対応的に調節する、カテーテル。 - 請求項2に記載のカテーテルにおいて、
それぞれの伸張性プラー部材が、前記先端部分を偏向させるようにそれぞれの滑車により作動される、カテーテル。 - 請求項1に記載のカテーテルにおいて、
前記調節機構は、前記偏向組立体に作用するように構成されたカム装置を含む、カテーテル。 - 請求項2に記載のカテーテルにおいて、
前記調節機構は、前記分離距離を変えるように構成されたカム装置を含む、カテーテル。 - 請求項1に記載のカテーテルにおいて、
各伸張性プラー部材が、前記偏向組立体を通って延びる繊維部分を含む、カテーテル。 - 請求項1に記載のカテーテルにおいて、
操作に対する偏向部材抵抗のユーザー調節に適合した張力調節機構、
をさらに含む、カテーテル。 - 請求項4に記載のカテーテルにおいて、
前記カム装置は、前記偏向組立体の滑車アーム内部にある、カテーテル。 - 双方向に偏向するよう構成されたカテーテルにおいて、
カテーテル本体と、
前記カテーテル本体の遠位にある先端部分と、
前記カテーテル本体の近位にある制御ハンドルと、
前記先端部分と前記制御ハンドルとの間に延びる第1および第2の伸張性プラー部材と、
を含み、
前記制御ハンドルは、
軸の周りで回転可能な滑車アームを有する偏向組立体であって、前記組立体は、前記軸を挟んで向かい合う場所にある2つの滑車を含み、各伸張性プラー部材は、前記偏向組立体を通って延び、前記先端部分を偏向させるためそれぞれの滑車に巻き付けられている、偏向組立体、および、
前記滑車間の分離距離を調節するように構成されたカム装置を含む、偏向感度調節機構、
を含む、カテーテル。 - 請求項9に記載のカテーテルにおいて、
前記制御ハンドルは、前記先端部分を偏向させるよう前記滑車アームを回転させるためにユーザー操作に適合した偏向部材をさらに含む、カテーテル。 - 請求項9に記載のカテーテルにおいて、
前記分離距離は、より大きな感度のための最大分離と、より小さな感度のための最小分離との間で調節可能である、カテーテル。 - 請求項9に記載のカテーテルにおいて、
前記制御ハンドルは、ユーザー偏向操作のため前記偏向組立体に対する抵抗の調節を可能にするよう構成された偏向張力機構をさらに含む、カテーテル。 - 請求項9に記載のカテーテルにおいて、
前記伸張性プラー部材のそれぞれは、前記偏向組立体を通って延びる繊維部分を有する、カテーテル。 - 請求項9に記載のカテーテルにおいて、
前記カム装置は、前記滑車間に位置付けられ、前記カム装置は、前記カム装置の回転の際に前記分離距離を変える、前記滑車と接触している延長部分を有する、カテーテル。 - 請求項9に記載のカテーテルにおいて、
前記カム装置は、前記滑車間に位置付けられ、各滑車は、前記カム装置の回転により前記分離距離が変わるように前記カム装置と接触している少なくとも1つのリンク装置を有する、カテーテル。 - 請求項9に記載のカテーテルにおいて、
前記滑車は、互いからの分離に対抗するように付勢されている、カテーテル。 - 請求項9に記載のカテーテルにおいて、
前記偏向組立体および前記偏向感度調節機構は、共通の回転軸を共有している、カテーテル。 - 請求項12に記載のカテーテルにおいて、
前記偏向組立体、前記偏向感度調節機構、および前記張力機構は、共通の回転軸を共有している、カテーテル。 - 請求項9に記載のカテーテルにおいて、
前記カム装置は、前記偏向組立体の内側に位置付けられている、カテーテル。
