Description
Claims (15)
- 液体の流れを案内するための構造層を多孔質基材中に製造する方法において、該構造層が、印刷溶液を用いてフレキソ印刷又はグラビア印刷により形成され、該印刷溶液は、基材シートに浸透し、印刷された前記構造層の領域で液体の流れを阻止するように該基材シートの特性を変化させることを特徴とする方法。
- 前記基材シート内への前記印刷溶液の浸透は、印刷シリンダ圧力、印刷の回数、前記印刷溶液の溶剤及び/又は前記印刷溶液の粘度によって最適化されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記印刷溶液はポリスチレン、ポリメチルメタクリレート、ポリビニルアルコール、セルロースアセテート又は架橋ポリビニルアルコールPVAから選択されるポリマを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- トルエン又はキシレンから選択される有機溶剤を一種以上、前記印刷溶液の溶剤として使用することを特徴とする、請求項1−3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記印刷溶液の幾つかの層を互いに重ねて印刷することを特徴とする、請求項1−4のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記印刷溶液を前記基材シートの両面に印刷することを特徴とする、請求項1−5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 一以上のパターン化した印刷溶液層を前記基材シートの前面に印刷し、一以上の一体化した又はパターン化した印刷溶液層をその背面に印刷することを特徴とする、請求項1−6のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記印刷された構造層が、前記基材の厚さ全体に亘って延在することを特徴とする、請求項1−7のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記構造層の間に横方向流路を形成するために、互いに離間した少なくとも2つの印刷層を前記基材の第1表面に印刷することを特徴とする、請求項1−8のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 少なくとも前記横方向流路の全幅に亘って延在する一体化した構造層を、前記基材の第2表面に印刷することを特徴とする、請求項9記載の方法。
- 前記基材の横方向における前記構造層の幅は、少なくとも100μmであることを特徴とする、請求項1−10のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記印刷溶液はポリスチレンを含み、
前記印刷溶液は溶剤としてトルエン、キシレン又はこれらの混合物を含み、
前記印刷溶液のポリスチレンの割合は2.5〜40質量%である、
ことを特徴とする、請求項1−11のいずれかに記載の方法。 - 前記基材シートに形成される印刷構造は、
前記印刷構造層により画定された幾つかの流路、
前記流路の交点に位置する供給領域、及び
前記流路それぞれに連結する検出又は反応領域
を具えることを特徴とする、請求項1−12のいずれかに記載の方法。 - 前記印刷溶液は2.5〜10質量%のポリマを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1−13のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記印刷溶液は10〜40質量%のポリマを含み、その平均分子量は最大でも250000であることを特徴とする、請求項1−13のいずれかに記載の方法。
