Description

- 積層物体をラピッドプロトタイピング製造する、積層物体造型(LOM)システムであり、前記システムは、前記積層物体の層を画定する対象基材の離れた位置に制御された量の接着剤を付着させるための接着剤分注器を備え、
該接着剤分注器は、円周方向に間隔を空けて配置された、接着剤を収容するための複数の凹部を有する接着剤塗布輪と、接着剤を1以上の凹部に充填するための密封接着剤充填チャンバを前記接着剤塗布輪と共に画定する接着ワイプとを具え、
該塗布輪は前記対象基材に接触するように構成された接触表面を有し、前記複数の凹部は該接触表面に形成され、該塗布輪は1以上の凹部に充填された接着剤を対象基材に運ぶよう回転可能であり、間隔を置いて配置された個々の凹部が前記対象基材と接触することによって、該対象基材上の離れた位置に、制御された量の接着剤を付着させることを特徴とする積層物体造型(LOM)システム。 - 前記塗布輪は、前記対象基材に接触するよう構成された接触表面を有し、前記複数の凹部は、前記接触表面に形成される請求項1に記載の積層物体造型(LOM)システム。

- 前記塗布輪は、該塗布輪の回転の方向および角速度を制御するための塗布輪駆動手段に連結される請求項1〜21のいずれか一項に記載の積層物体造型(LOM)システム。
- 対象基材に対して移動するよう取り付けられる請求項1〜22のいずれか一項に記載の積層物体造型(LOM)システム。
- 前記対象基材に対する前記接着剤分注器の直線速度を制御するための駆動手段に連結される請求項23に記載の積層物体造型(LOM)システム。
- 前記角速度および直線速度は、必要に応じて、前記対象基材上に不定量の接着剤の載置をもたらすよう制御可能である請求項22、23または24に記載の積層物体造型(LOM)システム。
- 選択的に、ビルドオブジェクトのパーツである前記基材の部分において高濃度で接着剤を塗布し、切断されるべき前記基材の部分において低濃度で接着剤を塗布するように構成される、請求項1〜25のいずれか一項に記載の積層物体造型(LOM)システム。
- 前記対象基材は、3次元ビルドオブジェクトの特定の高さでの断面に対応する2次元プロファイルを有するビルドオブジェクトの層を画定する、請求項1〜26のいずれか一項に記載の積層物体造型(LOM)システム。
