Description
電流センサ4の出力には、いわゆるオフセット誤差が含まれている。すなわち、電流センサ4によって検出された電池電流Ibは、駆動用電池50の実際の充放電電流(以下「実電流」ともいう)に対して正方向あるいは負方向にオフセット誤差の大きさ分だけずれた値となる。ここでいう「正方向」とは、電池電流Ibの値が増加する方向、すなわち放電中(電池電流Ibが正の値である場合)においては電池電流Ibの絶対値が増加する方向であり、充電中(電池電流Ibが負の値である場合)においては電池電流Ibの絶対値が減少する方向である。逆に、「負方向」とは、電池電流Ibの値が減少する方向、すなわち放電中においては電池電流Ibの絶対値が減少する方向であり、充電中においては電池電流Ibの絶対値が増加する方向である。
上述のように、電流センサ4のオフセット誤差は、電流センサ4の温度に応じて変化する。電流センサ4の温度は、車両システムの起動時(制御部100の起動時)には主に外気温に依存し、車両システムの作動中には電池温度Tb等に依存して定常温度に徐々に収束(飽和)していく。したがって、外気温が非常に低い極低温下での長期放置後に車両システムが起動された場合、車両システム起動当初の電流センサ4の温度は定常温度よりもかなり低く、その分、車両システム起動当初の電流センサ4のオフセット誤差も学習誤差αからかなり乖離していることが想定される。したがって、極低温下での長期放置後に車両システムが起動された場合に、学習誤差αを用いて電池電流Ibを補正しても、精度よく補正することができないことが想定される。
<変形例1>
上述の実施の形態においては、車両システム起動時の電流センサ温度Tiがしきい温度T0未満である場合(極低温環境下にある場合)に起動時補正制御を実行した。
上述の実施の形態においては、車両システム起動時の電流センサ温度Tiがしきい温度T0未満であると、起動時補正制御が選択され、次に車両システムが停止されるまで起動時補正制御が維持される。
Claims (3)
- 車両駆動力を発生するための電力を蓄える電池の制御装置であって、
前記電池の充放電電流を検出する電流センサと、
ユーザによる操作に応じて起動および停止するように構成された制御部とを備え、
前記制御部は、前記制御部の起動時の前記電流センサの温度がしきい温度以上である場合は第1補正制御を実行し、前記制御部の起動時の前記電流センサの温度が前記しきい温度未満である場合は第2補正制御を実行し、
前記第1補正制御は、前記制御部の停止直前の前記電流センサの出力に基づいて算出された前記電流センサのオフセット誤差である第1誤差を用いて前記電流センサの出力を補正する制御であり、
前記第2補正制御は、前記制御部の起動時の前記電流センサの出力に基づいて決定された前記電流センサのオフセット誤差である第2誤差を用いて前記電流センサの出力を補正する制御であり、
前記電流センサの出力は、前記電池の放電中に正の値となり、前記電池の充電中に負の値となり、
前記第1補正制御は、前記電流センサの出力から前記第1誤差を減じた値を前記電池の補正後の充放電電流とする制御であり、
前記第2補正制御は、前記電流センサの出力から前記第2誤差を減じた値を前記電池の補正後の充放電電流とする制御であり、
前記制御部は、前記制御部の起動時の前記電流センサの温度が前記しきい温度未満である場合でかつ前記第2誤差が前記第1誤差よりも小さい場合に前記第2補正制御を実行する、電池の制御装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記第2補正制御の実行中に前記電流センサの温度が前記しきい温度を超えた場合、前記第2補正制御を停止して前記第1補正制御を実行する、請求項1に記載の電池の制御装置。
- 前記制御装置は、前記電池の温度を検出する温度センサをさらに備え、
前記制御部は、前記温度センサの出力に基づいて前記電流センサの温度を推定する、請求項1または2に記載の電池の制御装置。
