評価方法:30秒間加工した後、被削材の加工面の算術平均粗さ及びくすみの程度を確認した。
(寿命評価)
被削材:SCM435
切削速度:250m/分
送り:0.12mm/rev
切込み:0.5mm
切削状態:湿式
評価方法:寿命に至った切削長を測定した。

Claims (6)
- すくい面である第1面と、該第1面に隣接する逃げ面である第2面と、前記第1面と前記第2面との交差稜部の少なくとも一部に位置する切刃とを有する基体を具備し、
該基体は、チタン並びに周期表第4、5及び6族金属のうちの1種以上を含む炭窒化物を含有する硬質相と、コバルト及びニッケルの少なくとも一方を含有する結合相とを有し、
前記硬質相は、第1硬質相及び第2硬質相を有し、
X線回折分析において、前記第1硬質相のピークが前記第2硬質相のピークよりも高角度側に観測され、
前記第2面における前記第2硬質相が150MPa以上の圧縮残留応力を有し、
前記第1面の最大高さ(Rz)が0.2〜1μmであり、
前記第2面の最大高さ(Rz)が0.2〜1.5μmであり、
前記第1面の最大高さ(Rz)は、前記第2面の最大高さ(Rz)より小さく、
前記切刃の最大高さ(Rz)は、2μmを超え、6μm以下であり、前記第2面の最大高さの2〜30倍である切削インサート。 - 前記基体における炭素及び窒素の含有量の総和に対する窒素の含有量の質量比(N/(C+N))が0.45〜0.55である請求項1に記載の切削インサート。
- 前記第2面における前記第1硬質相が30〜145MPaの圧縮残留応力を有する請求項1または2に記載のインサート。
- 前記第2面は、前記切刃と平行な方向に延びた複数の溝を有する請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載のインサート。
- 前記交差稜部に直交する断面において、前記切刃が1〜10μmの曲率半径を有する請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載のインサート。
- 先端側にポケットを有するホルダと、
前記ポケットに位置する請求項1〜5のいずれか1つに記載のインサートとを備えた切削工具。
