Description
本出願は、2015年11月5日に申請された米国特許出願第14/933,026号明細書からの優先権を主張し、その特許出願の記載事項の全体は引用することにより本明細書の内容となる。
本開示の態様は一般的にポリプロピレンのキャストフィルムに関する。さらに特定的に、態様は核生成メタロセン触媒ポリプロピレンのキャストフィルムに関する。
キャストフィルムを含む多様な完成物品を作製するために、多様な製品が種々の製造方法でポリオレフィン材料を使用している。キャストフィルムは、典型的には商業目的の種々の製品のラッピング又は包装において用いられる。多くの他のものの中でも包装、延伸フィルム(stretch film)、おむつの裏材料、ラベル、剥離ライナー、おもちゃ、ゲーム、スポーツ用品、医療機器及び食品容器のような多くの型の用途においてキャストフィルムを用いることができる。
本開示はある方法を提供する。その方法は、メタロセン触媒ポリプロピレンを核剤(nucleator)及びスリップ剤と合わせて組成物を調製することを含む。その方法は、組成物からキャストフィルムを作製することを含む。

Claims (19)
- メタロセン触媒ポリプロピレンを核剤及びスリップ剤と合わせることが、メタロセン触媒ポリプロピレンを核剤及びスリップ剤と溶融配合することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 組成物からのキャストフィルムの作製が、組成物を溶融状態で1個もしくはそれより多いオリフィスを有するスロット又はダイを介して押出すことを含み、ここで溶融状態における組成物を溶融プラークとしてスロット又はダイを介して出し、チルローラー上に取り上げながら一軸延伸し、冷却してキャストフィルムを作製する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- メタロセン触媒ポリプロピレンが組成物の合計重量に基づいて80重量パーセント〜99.9重量パーセントの範囲の量で組成物中に存在する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 核剤が、カルボン酸塩、タルク、シリカ、酸化亜鉛、ホスフェート、金属性シリケート水和物、ジベンジリデンソルビトールの有機誘導体、ソルビトールアセタール、有機ホスフェート塩あるいはそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 核剤が、組成物の合計重量に基づいて0.05重量パーセント〜10重量パーセントの範囲の量で組成物中に存在する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- スリップ剤が、ステアレート、ステアラミド、オレアミド、ベヘナミド、エルカミド又はそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1の方法。
- スリップ剤がシス−13−ドコセノアミドを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- スリップ剤が、組成物の合計重量に基づいて0.05重量パーセント〜10重量パーセントの範囲の量で組成物中に存在する、請求項1の方法。
- キャストフィルム中におけるスリップ剤のスリップブルーム速度を向上させるため、ならびにキャストフィルムの摩擦係数を低下させるための方法であって、

キャストフィルムは、キャストフィルム中に核剤が存在しないが、他の点では同じキャストフィルムの摩擦係数より60%以上低い摩擦係数を示し、かつ、メタロセン触媒ポリプロピレンがホモポリマーであり、前記核剤が2,2’−メチレン−ビス−(4,6−ジ−tert−ブチルフェニル)リン酸ナトリウムを含むか;あるいは化学構造:
