Description
本出願は、2019年1月14日付韓国特許出願第10-2019-0004804号に基づいた優先権の利益を主張し、当該韓国特許出願の文献に開示されている全ての内容は本明細書の一部として含まれる。
図1は、本発明の第1実施形態に係る二次電池用トップキャップの構造を示した斜視図である。図2は、本発明の第1実施形態に係る二次電池用トップキャップの構造を示した側断面図である。
図5は、本発明に係る二次電池の製造方法において、突出領域による密封ステップがなされる前の姿を示した側断面図である。図6は、本発明に係る二次電池の製造方法において、突出領域による密封ステップがなされ、二次電池の製造が完了した後の姿を示した側断面図である。
図1から図6に示されている通り、本発明に係る二次電池の製造方法は、上部が開放されている電池ケース100を備えるステップと、電池ケース100の内部に電極組立体150を収容するステップと、電極組立体150の上部に貫通ホール200aが形成されている貫通ホール形成部材200を備えるステップと、貫通ホール形成部材200の上部に位置し、周囲領域310、中心領域320または連結領域330から下方に突き出され、かつ、貫通ホール200aに対応される水平断面(cross section)の形状を有する突出領域340を含むトップキャップ300を電池ケース100の上部に結合するステップとを含むことができる。
Claims (9)
- 上部が開放された電池ケースと、
前記電池ケースの内部に備えられる電極組立体と、
前記電極組立体の上部に備えられて貫通ホールが形成される貫通ホール形成部材と、
前記電池ケースの上部に結合される二次電池用トップキャップであって、
前記トップキャップの外周面を形成する周囲領域と、
前記トップキャップの中心部を形成する中心領域と、
前記周囲領域と前記中心領域を連結する連結領域と、
前記周囲領域、中心領域または連結領域から下方に突き出された突出領域と
を含み、
二次電池の電池ケースの開放されている上部に結合される二次電池用トップキャップとを含んでなり、
前記突出領域のうち少なくとも一部は前記貫通ホールに挿入され、前記貫通ホール形成部材に形成されている前記貫通ホールに前記トップキャップの突出領域が挿入されることにより、二次電池内部の密封性が確保される、二次電池。 - 前記中心領域は円板の形状を有し、
前記突出領域は、前記中心領域の中心から下方に突き出される、請求項1に記載の二次電池。 - 前記突出領域は、一の字の形状を有して下方に延長される棒部を含む、請求項1または請求項2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記突出領域は、前記棒部の側面に形成される突起部をさらに含む、請求項3に記載の二次電池。
- 前記突出領域は、ジグザグ(zigzag)の形状を有して下方に延長されるジグザグ部を含む、請求項1または請求項2に記載の二次電池。
- シートの形状を有し、前記突出領域と前記貫通ホールの間に備えられ、少なくとも一部が前記貫通ホールに挿入される密封シートをさらに含む、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記貫通ホール形成部材は、PTC素子及びキャッププレートのうち少なくともいずれか一つを含む、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 上部が開放された電池ケースの内部に電極組立体を収容するステップと、
前記電極組立体の上部に貫通ホールが形成された貫通ホール形成部材を備えるステップと、
前記貫通ホール形成部材の上部に位置し、下方に突き出され、かつ、前記貫通ホールに対応される断面(cross section)の形状を有する突出領域を含むトップキャップを前記電池ケースの上部に結合するステップと、
前記電極組立体を充電する充電ステップと、
前記充電ステップで、二次電池の内部に発生したガスを排出した後に、
前記突出領域が下方に移動し、前記突出領域が前記貫通ホール形成部材の前記貫通ホールを密封する密封ステップと、
を含む二次電池の製造方法。 - 前記密封ステップ以前に、シート形状の密封シートを前記貫通ホール形成部材の前記貫通ホールの上部に備えるステップをさらに含み、
前記密封ステップにおいて、前記突出領域が下方に移動するに伴い、前記密封シートのうち少なくとも一部が前記貫通ホール形成部材の前記貫通ホールに挿入される、請求項8に記載の二次電池の製造方法。
