Description
図1に、第1実施形態の全体構成を示す。昇圧装置301は、昇圧回路20、コンデンサ24、出力電圧センサ34、昇圧回路制御部31及び故障検出部32を含む。昇圧回路20は、リアクトル21、「スイッチング素子」としてのMOS22、及び、ダイオード23を含む、チョッパ式の昇圧回路である。なお、本明細書ではMOSFETを省略し、単に「MOS」と記す。また、「MOS22のオープン故障」を「MOSオープン故障」と記す。
次に図5、図6を参照し、第2実施形態について説明する。図5に示すように、第2実施形態の昇圧装置302は、第1実施形態の昇圧装置301の構成に加え、入力電圧VLを検出する入力電圧センサ33をさらに備える。入力電圧VLの検出値は、昇圧回路制御部31に入力される。
(a)上記実施形態の昇圧回路20において、リアクトル21とMOS22との接続点Nの出力側に接続されたダイオード23に代えて、第2のMOSを設け、車載機器40側からの電力を降圧して回生可能な「昇降圧回路」が用いられてもよい。その構成においても、本実施形態では昇圧回路としての機能にのみ着目する。

Claims (3)
- アイドルストップ車両に搭載され、バッテリ(15)から供給された入力電圧(VL)を昇圧し、車載機器(40)に出力する昇圧装置であって、
一端が前記バッテリ側に接続されたリアクトル(21)、及び、前記リアクトルの他端とグランドとの間に接続されたスイッチング素子(22)を含むチョッパ式の昇圧回路(20)と、
前記昇圧回路の出力電圧(VH)を検出する出力電圧センサ(34)と、
前記昇圧回路の出力電圧が目標電圧となるように、前記スイッチング素子の動作を制御する昇圧回路制御部(31)と、
当該昇圧装置のイニシャルチェックにおいて前記出力電圧が所定の故障検出閾値(VHth)未満のとき、前記スイッチング素子のオープン故障と判定する故障検出部(32)と、
を備え、
少なくとも前記入力電圧が所定の臨界値(VLc)より高い領域で、イニシャルチェック時の前記目標電圧(VH*_h)は、イニシャルチェック時以外の動作時である通常制御時の前記目標電圧(VH*_n)よりも高い値に設定されている昇圧装置。 - イニシャルチェック時の前記目標電圧は、前記入力電圧の値に関わらず前記入力電圧の最高値(VLmax)よりも高い値に設定されており、
前記故障検出閾値は、前記入力電圧の最高値とイニシャルチェック時の前記目標電圧との間の一定値に設定されている請求項1に記載の昇圧装置。 - 前記入力電圧を検出する入力電圧センサ(33)をさらに備え、
イニシャルチェック時の前記目標電圧は、前記入力電圧に応じて、前記入力電圧よりも高い可変値に設定され、
前記故障検出閾値は、前記入力電圧とイニシャルチェック時の前記目標電圧との間の可変値に設定される請求項1に記載の昇圧装置。
