Description

This invention relates to a pet diaper structure that is attached to the bottom of a pet and can reliably contain feces without leaking from the attachment bag.

Conventional pet diapers are unhygienic because waste collected inside the diaper may adhere to the pet's body. To solve this problem, the applicant has devised a new pet diaper, applied for a patent, and obtained a patent (Patent Document 1).

This diaper has an excretion window in the rear sheet of the diaper body that covers the buttocks, a frame is fixed to the outer periphery of the excretion window, and the excretion bag opening edge is connected to the frame to connect the inside of the excretion bag to the excretion window. The upper edge of the excretion window is connected to the upper edge of the valve body that can be opened and closed freely, and the valve body is slightly shortened to form an enlarged window located below the excretion window below the valve body. The stool is pushed open and discharged into the excretion bag, and dripping stool falls naturally from the expanded window below into the excretion bag, so that all stool is stored sufficiently.

However, although this improved pet diaper was designed to ensure that any type of feces would be securely stored in the excrement bag regardless of its condition, it was found that in actual use, the bag was not always securely stored depending on the pet's physique and the position and movement during defecation.

In other words, there were cases where the feces did not enter the excretion bag through the excretion window in the rear sheet, but instead passed outside the excretion bag and fell directly onto the rear sheet of the diaper body, soiling the diaper. The reason for this is thought to be that the direction of excretion deviates from the excretion window and points towards the diaper body below the excretion window. This principle is unrelated to the presence of the valve body, and is due to the fact that the excretion window was unable to regulate the direction of placement during the initial excretion movement required.

Thus, if the feces are not contained within the frame during defecation, they will leak from the inside of the diaper body, i.e., from the back side of the frame, into the diaper body, soiling the pet's bottom and causing a foul odor, which is unhygienic and has a negative impact on the environment.

This invention improves the pet diaper structure to prevent such fecal leakage and allow for hygienic and comfortable defecation.

This invention provides a diaper structure for pets, characterized in that an excretion window 12 is formed in a diaper body 10 that covers the buttocks, a frame body 14 is fixed to the outer peripheral edge of the excretion window 12 so that the anus is located near the lower edge of the frame body, the opening edge of an excretion bag 16 is connected to the frame body 14 so that the inside of the frame body 14 and the inside of the bag are connected to each other, an auxiliary sheet for expanding the bag that is wider than the width of the frame body is stretched on the outer side of the excretion bag, a slit is formed in approximately the center of the sheet for inserting a tail, and the outer side of the excretion bag is significantly lifted in conjunction with the movement of the tail inserted into the slit for inserting the tail, thereby making the internal space of the bag as large as possible and enabling reliable storage of feces .

According to this invention, an excretion window 12 is formed in a diaper body 10 that encloses the buttocks, a frame body 14 is fixed to the outer peripheral edge of the excretion window 12 so that the anus is located near the lower edge of the frame body, the opening edge of the excretion bag 16 is connected to the frame body 14 so that the inside of the frame body 14 and the inside of the bag communicate with each other , a bag-expanding auxiliary sheet that is wider than the width of the frame body is stretched on the outer side of the excretion bag, a cutout for inserting a tail is formed in the approximate center of the sheet, and the outer side of the excretion bag is expanded in conjunction with the movement of the tail inserted into the cutout for inserting the tail. By lifting it up firmly and making the internal space of the bag as large as possible, it is possible to securely store feces . Furthermore, by forming an enlarged window located at the excretion window and providing the valve body with an auxiliary sheet for opening and widening the window, when defecation occurs the auxiliary sheet for opening and widening the bag opens the inside of the excretion bag widely and expands the internal space. This ensures that the defecation action is within the range regulated by the window, so that the feces is smoothly stored in the bag and the risk of leakage into the diaper outside the defecation bag is prevented.

In addition, the upper outer surface of the bag is designed so that the tail can be fixed through the slit for inserting the tail. When a pet defecates, it has the habit of lifting its tail, which lifts the upper outer surface of the bag along with the tail, expanding the interior of the bag and increasing the space within the bag, which has the effect of allowing the pet to defecate more smoothly and reliably through the excretion window into the excretion bag.

The device is also characterized in that a valve body is connected to the upper edge of the excretion window so that it can be opened and closed freely and the upper edge can be bent freely, and an auxiliary sheet for opening and expanding the bag, which is wider than the width of the frame body, is stretched on the outer surface of the lower half of the valve body.

[Pets]
The inventor has learned the following from experience. That is, pets have a habit of sticking their tails up in an upward or horizontal direction in a tense state when defecating. The pet diaper structure of the present invention utilizes this habit. In the present invention, a pet is an animal with a tail that is kept by humans, such as an animal belonging to the canine or feline family. In this specification, an example in which the pet diaper structure of the present invention is worn by a dog is described.

The embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 shows a diagram of a pet P wearing a pet diaper according to the present invention. Figs. 2 to 6 and 11 show schematic diagrams of the pet diaper structure according to the present invention. Figs. 7 to 10 show schematic diagrams explaining the movement of each component when a pet P wears the pet diaper structure according to the present invention.

As shown in FIG. 1, the pet diaper structure according to the present invention is composed of a diaper body 10 and a defecation device 13. The diaper body 10 is provided with an opening serving as an excretion window 12 adjacent to the anus of the pet P. A defecation device 13 is attached in internal communication with the excretion window 12. The structures of the diaper body 10 and the defecation device 13 are described in detail below.

[Diaper body]
2, the diaper body 10 comprises a rear sheet 11, an excretion window 12, and connecting means 24 (24a, 24b). The diaper body 10 is separable into upper and lower ends, and is generally gourd-shaped in plan view.

The rear sheet 11 is provided at approximately the center of both the top and bottom ends of the diaper body 10. The rear sheet 11 can be made of a material that absorbs urine. A urine storage body such as an absorbent pad may be attached to the surface of the rear sheet 11 that comes into contact with the private parts.

As shown in FIG. 3, the excretion window 12 is an opening formed on the rear sheet 11 at a position adjacent to the anus. The excretion window 12 is formed so that at least the tail T and anus 21 of the pet P fit inside the opening, and the anus 21 is located near the lower edge of the excretion window 12.

The shape of the excretion window 12 can be freely selected from among square, elliptical, circular, trapezoidal, heart-shaped, etc. In addition, it is desirable that the frame body 14 and excretion bag opening 15 of the defecation device 13 described below have the same shape as the excretion window 12.

The connecting means 24 is detachably attached to both the upper and lower ends of the diaper body 10, which is separated into upper and lower parts. The connecting means 24 is, for example, a hook-and-loop fastener 24a, 24b such as Velcro (registered trademark).

The diaper body 10 is attached and fixed by attaching the rear sheet 11 so that it covers the buttocks of the pet P, and connecting the hook-and-loop fasteners 24a at the top end of the diaper body 10 to the hook-and-loop fasteners 24b at both the left and right ends of the bottom end around the abdomen and torso of the pet P.

[Defecation device]
A defecation device 13 is attached from the outside to a position facing the excretion window 12 of the diaper body 10. As shown in Fig. 2, the defecation device 13 is composed of a frame body 14, a valve body 17 connected to the frame body 14, an excretion bag 16 connected to the opening of the frame body 14, a bag opening and expanding auxiliary sheet 18 attached to the excretion bag 16, an expanding window 19 provided between the frame body 14 and the valve body 17, and a cut 20 for inserting the tail. The cut 20 for inserting the tail is composed of a cut 20a formed in the valve body 17, a cut 20b formed in the excretion bag 16, and a cut 20c formed in the bag opening and expanding auxiliary sheet 18. Each component will be described in detail below.

[Frame]
4, the frame 14 is composed of an opening 30 having the same shape as the excretion window 12, and a band-shaped plate 25 surrounding the periphery of the opening 30. The frame 14 is composed of the opening 30 and the plate 25 so as to have a generally rectangular frame shape in plan view as a whole.

The frame 14 can be selected according to the shape of the excretion window 12, in addition to the square shape shown in Figure 4. For example, as shown in Figure 11, it can be selected from a circle, ellipse, trapezoid, triangle, heart shape, etc.

The defecation device 13 is attached to the diaper body via the plate 25 of the frame 14, and is connected to be one body. The means for connecting the plate 25 to the diaper body 10 can be freely selected as long as it has a certain strength, such as an adhesive such as tape or glue, or stitching using natural or chemical fibers.

The material of the plate 25 may be selected from materials that are waterproof and durable, as well as soft and flexible. Specifically, the material of the plate 25 may be resin. If cardboard or the like, which is inferior to resin in terms of waterproofness and durability, is used as the material of the plate 25, the plate 25 may be processed to impart waterproofness and durability.

[Valve body]
4, the valve body 17 is a plate-like body extending from the lower edge of a plate body 25a that constitutes the upper edge of the frame body 14. The valve body 17 is composed of a bent portion 26, a valve body main body 27, and a notch 20a for inserting the tail.

The bent portion 26 is provided at the base end of the valve body 17 (the lower edge of the plate body 25a). The valve body 17 tilts around the bent portion 26 as an axis. This allows the valve body main body 27 to freely open and close the opening 30 of the frame body 14.

The valve body 27 is a plate-like body of a size and shape that can seal the opening 30 of the frame body 14. Specifically, the edges of the left and right sides of the valve body 27 are formed to match the periphery of the opening 30 of the frame body 14. The tip 27a of the lower edge of the valve body 27 is formed to be at position H facing the anus 21.

The outer surface of the valve body 27 is fixed to the inner wall of the excretion bag 16 (the excretion bag outer surface 29 side) through the excretion bag opening 15 described below. The shape of the valve body 27 can be selected according to the shape of the frame body 14, in addition to the square shape shown in FIG. 4. For example, it can be selected from elliptical, circular, trapezoidal, triangular, heart-shaped, etc. as shown in FIG. 11.

The valve body 27 can also be treated to have deodorizing or antibacterial properties. Specifically, a sheet containing a porous material such as activated carbon can be attached to the inside surface of the valve body 27, providing a physical deodorizing function, or a sheet with a scientific antibacterial function that utilizes chemical reactions such as oxidation-reduction.

[Excretion bag]
5 and 6, the excretion bag 16 is composed of an inside surface 28 of the excretion bag, an outside surface 29 of the excretion bag, an excretion bag opening 15 provided near the upper edge of the inside surface 28 of the excretion bag, and a notch 20b for inserting the tail provided on the outside surface 29 of the excretion bag. The peripheral portion of the inside surface 28 of the excretion bag is welded to the peripheral portion of the outside surface 29 of the excretion bag. As a result, the excretion bag 16 forms a bag body with an opening formed by the excretion bag opening 53 and a notch formed by the notch 20b for inserting the tail.

The inner surface 28 of the excretion bag and the outer surface 29 of the excretion bag are made of a resin material that is highly waterproof and durable. Specifically, polyethylene bags are used.

The excretion bag opening 16 is formed in the same shape as the excretion window 12 provided in the diaper body 10. That is, in the pet diaper structure according to the present invention, the excretion window 12 provided in the diaper body 10, the opening 30 provided in the frame body 14, and the excretion bag opening 15 provided in the excretion bag 16 are formed in the same shape and in communication with each other.

The tail insertion slit 20b is formed so as to communicate with the tail insertion slit 20a formed at the tip of the valve body 27 fixed to the inner wall of the excretion bag 16.

As shown in Fig. 6, the bag opening/expansion auxiliary sheet 18 is a horizontally rectangular band-shaped body with adhesive on one side, and a notch 20c for inserting the tail is formed in the approximate center. The bag opening/expansion auxiliary sheet 18 is attached to the outer peripheral wall of the outer surface 29 of the excretion bag. When attaching the bag opening/expansion auxiliary sheet 18 to the outer peripheral wall of the outer surface 29 of the excretion bag, the bag opening/expansion auxiliary sheet 18 can be attached so as to abut approximately the lower half of the valve body 17.

It is preferable that the material of the bag opening/expanding auxiliary sheet 18 is stronger and more flexible than the excretion bag 16, and softer than the valve body 17. The width of the bag opening/expanding auxiliary sheet 18 is wider than the frame body 14, but narrower than the excretion bag. The vertical width of the bag opening/expanding auxiliary sheet 18 is wide enough to form the notch 20c for inserting the tail, which will be described later, and narrow enough to fit inside the lower edge of the excretion bag.

The bag opening auxiliary sheet 18 can also be replaced by thickening the area near the tail insertion notch 20b of the excretion bag 16 or the entire outer surface 29 of the excretion bag 16.

By configuring the bag opening auxiliary sheet 18 in this way, the outer surface 29 of the excretion bag is significantly raised in conjunction with the movement of the tail T. This allows the internal space of the excretion bag 16 to be made as large as possible. The large internal space of the excretion bag 16 allows for more reliable storage of feces.

As shown in FIG. 4 , the enlarged window 19 is an opening formed by the peripheral edge of an opening 30 provided in the frame 14 and the tip end 27 a of the valve body 27 .

The size of the expansion window 19 can be determined as follows. That is, as shown in Figure 8 or Figure 9, if the length from the bottom of the base of the pet's tail 23 to the anus 21 is L1, and the length from the base of the tail 23 to the tip 27a of the expansion valve body 27 is L2, the expansion window 19 is formed so that at least L1 < L2.

By forming the enlarged window 19 in this manner, the lower edge 19a of the enlarged window 19 is located below the anus 21. Depending on the shape of the stool, there is a possibility that the stool may be attached to the anus 21. For example, even if liquid stool remains near the anus 21, the stool can flow into the excretion bag 16 through the enlarged window 19.

If the enlarged window 19 were not provided, that is, if the opening 30 of the frame 14 were completely sealed with the valve body 17, the following problem would arise. That is, after the pet P has finished defecation, it lowers its tail T downward, so that the valve body 17 comes into contact with the anus 21. In this state, the valve body 17 spreads fecal matter near the anus 21, causing inflammation of the pet P's skin.

6, the tail insertion slit 20 is an opening or slit formed to communicate with the slit 20a formed in the valve body 17, the slit 20b formed in the excretion bag 16, and the slit 20c formed in the bag opening auxiliary sheet 18. The diameter or width of the tail insertion slit 20 is long enough to allow the pet's tail to be pulled out from the inside to the outside, but shorter than the bag opening auxiliary sheet 18.

The tail insertion slit 20 allows the tail T to be pulled out to the outside of the pet diaper structure of the present invention. This prevents the tail T from coming into contact with the feces 22 contained in the excretion bag 16 or the feces 22 attached to the anus 21.

The configuration of the diaper body 10 and the defecation device 13 are as described above. The pet diaper structure of this invention is fitted by wrapping the diaper body 10 with the defecation device 13 attached from the buttocks to the torso of the pet P, fixing it to the buttocks of the pet P with the connecting means 24 at the front and rear of the diaper body 10, and then pulling the tail T out through the excretion window 12, the opening of the frame 14, and the notch 20 for inserting the tail.

The pet diaper structure of the present invention is configured as described above. Below, we will explain the process by which feces 22 are stored in the excretion bag 16 when this pet diaper structure is used.

First, as shown in Figure 7, the pet P is fitted with the pet diaper structure of the present invention, which is composed of a diaper body 10 with a function for absorbing urine and a defecation device 13 for containing feces. The tail T of the pet P is pulled out of the excretion bag 16 from the excretion window 12, through the upper edge of the frame body 14 and the underside of the valve body 17, and through the tail insertion slits 20 (20a, 20b, 20c). At this time, the width of the slits 20 is formed long enough for the pet's tail to pass through, but shorter than the bag opening auxiliary sheet 18, so that the tail T and the defecation device 13 can be fixed in place.

As shown in FIG. 7, the anus 21 is located near the lower edge of the base 23 of the tail T. Moreover, the positional relationship between the anus 21 and the excretion window 12 is fixed so that it is constant. This is because the tail T is fixed integrally with the defecation device 13 via the notches 20 (20a, 20b, 20c) for inserting the tail. In addition, the defecation device 13 is attached to the periphery of the excretion window 12 of the diaper body 10 via the frame body 14. As a result, even if the tail T moves violently up and down and left and right, the position of the excretion window 12 is restricted by the frame body 14 to the same direction as the tail T, that is, to a position facing the anus 21. As a result, no matter what posture the pet P is in, the excretion 22 is stored in the excretion bag 16 through the excretion window 12.

As shown in Figure 7, when a pet P defecates, it has a habit of thrusting its tail T upward or horizontally in a tense state. This movement of the tail T causes the valve body 27 to tilt upward around the bent portion 26 as an axis, lifting the excretion bag 16 from the inside. The bag opening auxiliary sheet 18 also pulls up the excretion bag 16 from the outside, making the internal space of the excretion bag 16 as large as possible.

Through these steps, the feces 22 are stored in the widely opened feces bag 16, as shown in Figure 10. Furthermore, when the feces 22 are soft and drip downward, the anus 21 is positioned opposite the enlarged window 19, so the feces 22 flows into the excretion bag 16 through the enlarged window 19. This prevents the feces 22 from leaking out of the defecation device 13, and prevents the feces 22 from leaking outside the feces bag 16 into the diaper body 10.
