Description

This invention relates to a durable pet diaper structure that can be easily attached to a pet's buttocks, reliably stores feces without leaking from the attachment bag, and is highly durable.

Conventional pet diapers are unhygienic because waste collected inside the diaper can stick to the pet's body. To solve this problem, the applicant devised a new pet diaper, applied for a patent, and obtained a patent (Patent Document 1).

This improved pet diaper has an excretion window cut into the rear sheet of the diaper body that covers the buttocks, a frame body fixed to the outer periphery of the excretion window, the excretion bag opening edge connected to the frame body to connect the inside of the excretion bag to the excretion window, and a valve body that can be opened and closed is connected to the upper edge of the excretion window, the valve body is slightly shortened, and an enlarged window is formed below the valve body and located below the excretion window. Stool is pushed open and discharged into the excretion bag, and dripping excretion falls naturally from the expanded window below into the excretion bag, allowing all excretion to be adequately contained.

In addition, this improved pet diaper is configured so that a bag-opening auxiliary sheet that is wider than the width of the frame body extends from the lower half of the valve body, stretching out from below the valve body, and an enlarged window located below the excretion window is formed between the frame body and the lower edge of the valve body, and a notch for inserting a tail is formed from the tip of the valve body to the bag-opening auxiliary sheet.

However, because the slit for inserting the tail in these improved pet diapers is formed at the boundary between the bag and the valve, depending on the size of the pet's tail, it may not be possible to fully pull out the tail, causing stress for the pet. If the slit is too large, there is a risk that the bag may slip off the tail, preventing sufficient feces from being stored in the excretion bag.

When a pet defecates, it is their habit to always raise their tail, and with conventional defecation devices, the action of raising the tail lifts the excretion bag from the inside, expanding the inside of the bag. Because the bag is expanded from inside the bag via the tail, stress is placed on the tail, causing stress for the pet. In addition, the tail must be pulled out from inside the excretion bag through the slit, which can be stressful in itself, and the complicated process can cause stress in a different way for the owner.

This invention provides a pet diaper structure that minimizes stress on the pet when wearing the excretion bag by exposing the pet's tail outside the bag and engaging with the outer surface of the bag, allowing the tail to stand up and expand the excretion bag from outside the bag. It also makes it easy to put on and take off, and because the excretion bag does not require a tail insertion hole, there is no risk of the bag being damaged through this hole.

This invention provides a pet diaper structure characterized by having an excretion window and a tail insertion hole drilled in the rear sheet of the diaper body that encases the buttocks, a frame body fixed to the outer periphery of the excretion window so that the anus is positioned near the lower edge of the frame body, the excretion bag opening edge is fixed to the frame body in an internally communicating state and the excretion bag is connected to the frame body, the upper edge of a valve body that can be opened and closed is connected to the upper edge of the frame body opening in a foldable manner, and connecting means are provided on the outer peripheral surface of the excretion bag that abuts against the valve body, for integrally connecting the pet's tail, excretion bag, and valve body that have been pulled out through the tail insertion hole.

The invention also provides a pet diaper structure characterized by the following: an excretion window and a hole for inserting the tail are formed in the rear sheet of the diaper body that covers the buttocks; a frame is fixed to the outer periphery of the excretion window so that the anus is positioned within the frame; the excretion bag opening edge is fixed to the frame in an internally communicating state and the excretion bag is connected to the frame; the lower edge of a flexible valve body is connected to the outer upper edge of the frame in a bendable manner; the valve body is in tight contact with the outer surface that faces the inner surface of the excretion bag to which the frame body is fixed; the vertical width of the inner surface of the excretion bag is longer than the vertical width of the outer surface of the excretion bag; and the valve body lifts the outer surface of the excretion bag upward, maintaining a fixed space between the frame body and the outer surface of the excretion bag.

According to the present invention, by providing a fastening means for securing a pet's tail on the outer surface of the excretion bag to which the valve body is fixed, owners can easily put on and take off diapers for their pets. In particular, since the tail can be easily attached and removed from the outside of the bag, the process of putting on and taking off the diaper is simplified, and pets can defecate comfortably without unnecessary stress. Furthermore, after excretion, the valve body closes the excretion window in the frame body together with the relaxed state of the tail, thereby preventing foul odors from the excretion bag from leaking out from the diaper body. Furthermore, if the valve body is configured to have a deodorizing function, foul odors from the excretion bag can be blocked as much as possible, further improving the surrounding hygienic environment. Furthermore, since the excretion bag does not have a slit for inserting the tail, as in conventional pet diapers, accidents involving the excretion bag being damaged can be avoided.

In addition, an excretion window and a hole for inserting the tail are drilled in the rear sheet of the diaper body that covers the buttocks, a frame is fixed to the outer periphery of the excretion window so that the anus is positioned within the frame, the excretion bag opening edge is fixed to the frame in an internally communicating state and the excretion bag is connected to the frame, the lower edge of a flexible valve is connected to the outer upper edge of the frame in a bendable manner, the valve is in tight contact with the outer surface that faces the inner surface of the excretion bag to which the frame is fixed, and the vertical width of the inner surface of the excretion bag is longer than the vertical width of the outer surface of the excretion bag, and the valve lifts the outer surface of the excretion bag upward, maintaining a fixed space between the frame and the outer surface of the excretion bag, thereby achieving the following effects.

That is, the lower edge of the flexible valve body is bendably connected to the outer upper edge of the frame body, and the valve body is in tight contact with the outer surface of the excretion bag that faces the inner surface to which the frame body is fixed, so it has the effect of expanding the internal space of the excretion bag regardless of the pet's tail standing up. As a result, there is no need to engage the pet's tail with the valve body, which minimizes stress on the pet when wearing the pet diaper structure, makes it easy to put on and take off, and since there is no need for a tail insertion hole in the excretion bag, there is no risk of the bag being damaged through this hole.

The valve body is in intimate contact with the outer surface of the excretion bag that faces the inner surface of the excretion bag connected to the frame, and the vertical width of the inner surface of the excretion bag is longer than the vertical width of the outer surface of the excretion bag, allowing the excretion bag to be held in a semicircular arc shape when viewed from the side. This creates sufficient space between the frame and the outer surface of the excretion bag to allow excreta introduced through the frame to fall smoothly to the bottom of the excretion bag. As a result, the inside of the outer surface of the excretion bag that faces the frame is not soiled, so there is no risk of excreta soiling the area around the pet's anus, which has the effect of improving hygiene when wearing the diaper.

The essential features of this invention are that an excretion window and a tail insertion hole are drilled in the rear sheet of the diaper body that encases the buttocks, a frame is fixed to the outer periphery of the excretion window so that the anus is positioned near the lower edge of the frame, the excretion bag opening edge is fixed to the frame in an internally communicating state and the excretion bag is connected to the frame, the upper edge of a valve that can be opened and closed is connected to the upper edge of the frame opening in a foldable manner, and connecting means are provided on the outer periphery of the excretion bag that abuts against the valve, for integrally connecting the excretion bag, the excretion bag, and the valve, which are pulled out of the tail insertion hole.

[Pets]
The inventors have empirically learned the following: pets have a habit of tensing their tails and thrusting them upward or horizontally when defecating. The pet diaper structure of the present invention utilizes this habit. In the present invention, a pet is an animal with a tail that is kept in a human environment, such as an animal belonging to the canine or feline family. This specification describes an example in which the pet diaper structure of the present invention is worn by a dog.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. Figure 1 shows a pet P wearing a pet diaper 1 according to the present invention. Figures 2 to 6 show schematic diagrams of the pet diaper structure 1 according to the present invention. Figures 7 and 8 are schematic diagrams illustrating the movement of each component when pet P wears the pet diaper structure 1 according to the present invention.

As shown in Figure 1, the pet diaper structure 1 according to the present invention comprises a diaper body 10 and a defecation device 20. The diaper body 10 has openings through which the rear legs of the pet P can pass. The pet P puts on the diaper body 10 by passing its legs through these openings. The diaper body 10 is provided with an opening (excretion window 14) at a position opposite the anus 11 of the pet P. A defecation device 20 is attached to the opening in internal communication with the opening. The structures of the diaper body 10 and the defecation device 20 will be described in detail below.

[Diaper body]
The diaper body 10 is worn around the lower abdomen to capture excrement such as urine and feces. As shown in Figure 2, the diaper body 10 comprises a rear sheet 12, a tail insertion hole 13, an excretion window 14, a back split 15, a diaper connection means 16, and leg insertion holes 17L and 17R.

As shown in Figure 3, the rear sheet 12 is positioned adjacent to the area around the anus 11 of the pet P. The rear sheet 12 can be made of a material that absorbs urine. A urine reservoir such as an absorbent pad may be attached to the inside surface of the rear sheet 12.

The tail insertion hole 13 is a generally circular opening formed in the rear sheet 12. When wearing the diaper body 10, the pet P can pull out its tail T to the outside of the diaper body 10 through the tail insertion hole 13. This prevents the diaper from becoming too stuffy and the tail T from becoming soiled by feces and urine. Furthermore, the diaper body 10 is designed to be in close contact with the anus 11 and private parts, preventing feces 18 and urine from leaking from the diaper body 10.

The excretion window 14 is a roughly oval opening formed at the lower edge of the tail insertion hole 13. The excretion window 14 may be formed integrally with the tail insertion hole 13 or may be formed separately. The size of the excretion window 14 is determined so that the anus 11 fits within the opening when the diaper body 10 is worn. The shape of the excretion window 14 may be freely selected, such as square, oval, circular, trapezoidal, or heart-shaped.

The shape of the excretion window 14 is related to the shape of the frame body 30 that is connected to it in an internally communicating state. One of the important objectives of the present invention is to prevent feces 18 from leaking through the excretion window 14 and into the diaper body 10. To achieve this, it is important that the excretion window 14 and frame body 30 are configured to extend as far downward as possible, and that even if the anus 11 is positioned downward due to the pet P's physique, etc., the feces 18 can be scooped up within the excretion window 14 and frame body 30 as much as possible.

The back split portion 15 is a cut provided on the back side of the diaper body 10. The cut is formed perpendicularly from the peripheral edge of the back side of the diaper body 10 toward the tail insertion window 13.

As shown in Figure 1, the diaper connection means 16 can be freely selected as long as it connects both the left and right sides of the back split 15. Specifically, it can be selected from hook-and-loop fasteners 16a, buttons, strings, tape, etc.

The provision of the back split section 15 and diaper attachment means 16 in the diaper body 10 makes it easier to put the diaper body 10 on pet P. As a result, the hassle of putting the diaper on pet P is minimized. Furthermore, a diaper body 10 of a given size can be used for a wide range of dog breeds. In other words, even if the diaper body 10 comes in a limited number of sizes, it can accommodate pets P of various builds.

[Defecation device]
A defecation device 20, which will be described later, is attached to the outside of the diaper body 10 at a position adjacent to the excretion window 14. As shown in Figure 3, the defecation device 20 basically comprises a frame 30, a valve 40 connected to the frame 30, an excretion bag 50 connected to the opening of the frame 30, and a tail connecting means 60 fixed from the valve 40 to the excretion bag 50. Each component will be described in detail below.

[Frame]
As shown in Figure 3, the frame body 30 is made up of an opening 31 of the same shape as the excretion window 14, a strip-shaped plate body 32 surrounding the periphery of the opening 31, and a tail abutment portion 33. The tail abutment portion 33 is formed by cutting out the plate body 32 that forms the upper side of the frame body 30. The frame body 30 is configured as a roughly U-shaped frame in a plan view overall, with the opening 31, plate body 32, and tail abutment portion 33.

The shape of the frame 30 may be changed depending on the shape of the excretion window 14. For example, as shown in Figure 4, it may be selected from oval, circular, trapezoidal, triangular, heart-shaped, etc.

The defecation device 20 is attached to the diaper body 10 via the plate 32 of the frame 30. The means of attachment between the plate 32 and the diaper body 10 can be freely selected as long as it has a certain strength, such as adhesives such as tape or glue, or sewing using natural or synthetic fibers.

The material for the plate 32 may be selected from materials that are waterproof, durable, and also soft and flexible. Specifically, resin can be selected as the material for the plate 32. If cardboard or other materials that are less waterproof and durable than resin are used as the material for the plate 32, the plate 32 can be processed to impart waterproofness and durability.

In addition, the frame 30 can be freely selected as long as it maintains the shape of the excretion window 14 and functions to further increase the strength of the periphery of the excretion window 14. In other words, adhesives such as adhesive tape or glue placed around the periphery of the excretion window 14 are naturally included in the concept of frame 30 if they perform the same function.

[Valve body]
3 and 4, the valve body 40 is a plate-like body extending from the lower edge of the plate body 32 that constitutes the upper edge of the frame body 30. The valve body 40 is composed of a bent portion 41 and a valve body main body 42.

The bent portion 41 is provided at the base end of the valve body 40. The valve body 40 tilts around the bent portion 41 as an axis. This allows the valve body main body 42 to freely open and close the opening 31 in the frame body 30.

The valve body 42 is a plate-like body of a size and shape that allows it to seal the opening 31 of the frame body 30. Specifically, the peripheral edge of the valve body 42 is formed to match the peripheral edge of the opening 31 of the frame body 30.

The outer surface of the valve body 42 is fixed to the inner wall of the excretion bag 50 (the excretion bag outer surface 52 side) via the excretion bag opening 53 described below. Furthermore, as shown in Figure 4, the shape of the valve body 42 can be changed as appropriate depending on the shape of the frame 30.

The valve body 40 can also be treated to have deodorizing or antibacterial properties. Specifically, a sheet with a physical deodorizing function using a porous substance such as activated carbon or a chemical antibacterial function using a chemical reaction such as oxidation-reduction can be attached to the inner surface of the valve body main body 42.

[Excretion bag]
5 and 6, the excretion bag 50 is composed of an inner surface 51 of the excretion bag, an outer surface 52 of the excretion bag, and an excretion bag opening 53 provided near the upper edge of the inner surface 51. The peripheral edge of the inner surface 51 of the excretion bag is welded to the peripheral edge of the outer surface 52 of the excretion bag. As a result, the excretion bag 50 forms a bag body with a single opening defined by the excretion bag opening 53.

The inner surface 51 and outer surface 52 of the excretion bag are made of a resin material that is highly waterproof and durable. Specifically, polyethylene bags are used.

The excretion bag opening 53 is formed in the same shape as the excretion window 14 provided in the diaper body 10. In other words, in the pet diaper structure 1 of the present invention, the excretion window 14 provided in the diaper body 10, the opening 31 provided in the frame body 30, and the excretion bag opening 53 provided in the excretion bag 50 are formed in the same shape and communicate with each other.

[Tail connection means]
As shown in Figure 3, the tail connecting means 60 is composed of an adhesive part 61 that is adhered to the outer surface 52 of the excretion bag, a band-shaped part 62 that branches into two with the adhesive part 61 as its base end, and connecting parts 63 attached to both the left and right ends of the band-shaped part 62.

As shown in Figure 6, the adhesive portion 61 is provided in a position facing the valve body main body 42 and the outer surface 52 of the excretion bag. The attachment method can be freely selected from adhesive, sewing, pressure bonding, etc.

The belt-shaped portion 62 is made of a wide material, such as cloth, resin, rubber string, or a combination of these. The width of the belt-shaped portion 62 is formed to a length that can adequately wrap around the tail T of the pet P. The vertical width of the belt-shaped portion 62 is formed to a length that fits within the vertical width of the valve body main body 42.

The connecting part 63 can be freely selected as long as it connects the two forked strap parts 62. Specifically, hook-and-loop fasteners or buttons can be selected. Instead of the connecting part 63, the strap part 62 can be tied to the tail T to form a single unit.

The connecting part 63 may be attached to the entire surface of the belt-shaped part 62, or may be shaped so that it can be fixed at any position on the belt-shaped part 62. This allows for a secure connection between the tail T and the defecation device 20, regardless of the length or amount of hair on the tail T.

In addition, by providing the tail connecting means 60, the tail T is positioned outside the defecation device 20. This prevents the tail T from coming into contact with the anus 11, which may be contaminated with feces 18. By preventing feces 18 from adhering to the tail T, it is possible to prevent rashes on the tail T.

The configuration of the diaper body 10 and the defecation device 20 are as described above. The pet diaper structure 1 of the present invention is put on using the following procedure. The pet P's legs are pulled out through the leg insertion holes 17L and 17R provided in the diaper body 10. The tail T is then pulled out through the tail insertion hole 13 and connected to the defecation device 20 via the tail connecting means 60. Finally, the back opening 15 of the diaper body 10 is closed using the diaper connecting means 16.

The following describes the process by which feces 18 are stored in the excretion bag 50 provided in the defecation device 20 when the pet diaper structure 1 is used on the pet P.

As shown in Figure 7, pet P was fitted with a pet diaper structure 1 comprising a diaper body 10 and a defecation device 20. Fitting is completed when the tail T is pulled out of the tail insertion hole 13 in the diaper body 10 and secured in place by the tail connecting means 60 of the defecation device 20. The diaper body 10 has the function of absorbing urine. The defecation device 20 has the function of containing feces.

As shown in Figure 8, when the pet P defecates, it thrusts its tail T upward or horizontally in a tense state. The tail T is connected to the outer surface 52 of the excretion bag 50 and the valve body 42 of the valve body 40 by a tail connecting means 60. With this configuration, the excretion bag 50 is lifted from the outside in conjunction with the pet P thrusting its tail T upward. As a result, the space inside the excretion bag 50 is expanded as much as possible, and the excretion 18 is contained within the wide-opening excretion bag 50.

As shown in Figure 9, a bag-opening support sheet 54 can also be attached near the adhesive portion 61 on the outer surface 52 of the excretion bag. The bag-opening support sheet 54 is made of a material with a certain degree of strength and flexibility, and is a horizontally elongated strip with adhesive on one side.

The bag opening support sheet 54 may be formed by thickening part of the outer surface 52 of the excretion bag, or the entire outer surface 52 of the excretion bag.

The bag expansion support sheet 54 lifts the outer surface 52 of the excretion bag in conjunction with the movement of the tail T. This allows the internal space of the excretion bag 50 to be made as large as possible. The large internal space of the excretion bag 50 allows for more reliable storage of feces.

The valve body 42 is fixed integrally to the inner wall of the excretion bag outer surface 52. In other words, when the excretion bag 50 expands, the valve body 42 also displaces upward, allowing for smooth defecation without interfering with the feces 18. Furthermore, when the pet P finishes defecation, its tail T, which has been raised due to its habit, returns to its original hanging position, and the valve body 42 also closes toward the excretion window 14 and frame 30, blocking the space between the excretion window 14 and frame 30 and preventing the foul odor from leaking into the interior of the diaper body 10.

In another embodiment of the present invention, the pet diaper structure 2 has an excretion window 14 and a tail insertion hole 13 drilled in the rear sheet 12 of the diaper body 10 that wraps around the buttocks, a frame body 30 fixed to the outer periphery of the excretion window 14 so that the anus 11 is positioned within the frame body, the edge of the excretion bag opening 53 is fixed to the frame body 30 in an internally communicating state, and the excretion bag 50 is connected to the frame body 30, and the lower edge of a bendable valve body 201 is folded onto the outer upper edge 30a of the frame body. The valve body 201 is connected so as to be flexible, and is in intimate contact with the outer surface 52 of the excretion bag 50, which faces the inner surface 51 of the excretion bag 50 to which the frame body 30 is fixed. The vertical width of the inner surface 51 of the excretion bag is longer than the vertical width of the outer surface 52 of the excretion bag, and the valve body 201 lifts the outer surface 52 of the excretion bag upward, thereby maintaining a fixed space between the frame body 30 and the outer surface 52 of the excretion bag 50.

Specifically, the defecation device 200 provided in the pet diaper structure 2 of this embodiment is configured such that the lower edge of the valve body 201 is connected to approximately the center of the outer upper edge of the frame body 30 so as to be freely bendable, as shown in Figure 10.

The length and width of the valve body 201 should be 1 cm to 3 cm in length and 4 cm to 6 cm in width, and functionally it should lift the outer surface 52 of the excretion bag 50 to expand the internal space of the excretion bag 50, so that excreted feces can fall and be stored in the bottom 55 of the excretion bag 50 without adhering to the part of the outer surface 52 of the excretion bag facing the frame body 30.

Therefore, in a pet diaper structure 2 equipped with such a defecation device 200, the lower edge of the flexible valve body 201 is bendably connected to the outer upper edge 30a of the frame body, and the valve body 201 is in close contact with the outer surface 52 opposite the inner surface 51 of the excretion bag 50 to which the frame body 30 is connected. This eliminates the need to engage the tail T of the pet P with the valve body 201, minimizing stress on the pet when wearing the pet diaper structure 2 and making it easier to put on and take off the pet P. Furthermore, since no tail insertion hole is required in the excretion bag 50, there is no need for this hole, which effectively prevents the bag from being damaged.

In addition, in this embodiment, the vertical width of the inner surface 51 of the excretion bag is configured to be longer than the vertical width of the outer surface 52 of the excretion bag. In other words, the length from the lower welded surface 56 to the top of the excretion bag 50 on the inner surface 51 and the outer surface 52 of the excretion bag, whose peripheral edges are welded together, is configured to be different on the inside and outside.

Specifically, as shown in Figure 11, the inner surface length TI from the lower welding surface 56 to the upper edge 30a of the frame is configured to be longer than the outer surface length TO from the lower welding surface 56 to the upper edge 201a of the valve body. By making the inner surface length TI greater than the outer surface length TO, the inner surface 51 of the excretion bag 50 can be configured to bulge downward.

In particular, because the valve body 201 is in close contact with the outer surface 52 of the excretion bag 50, which faces the inner surface 51 to which the frame body 30 is fixed, the valve body 201 functions as a support that expands the internal space of the excretion bag 50, allowing the internal space of the excretion bag 50 to expand regardless of the movement of the pet P's tail T.

This creates a sufficient space between the frame body 30 and the outer surface 52 of the excretion bag to allow feces 18, which has entered the excretion bag 50 through the excretion window 14, to smoothly fall to the bottom 55 of the excretion bag 50 (see Figure 12). As a result, the inside of the outer surface 52 of the excretion bag 50 facing the frame body 30 is not soiled, so there is no risk of feces 18 soiling the area around the anus of the pet P, which has the effect of improving the hygienic environment when the diaper is worn.

To further enhance this effect, the outer surface 52 of the excretion bag may be raised upward so that the adhesive position with the valve body 201 is slightly closer to the center of the outer surface 52 of the excretion bag. This increases the difference between the inner surface length TI and the outer surface length TO of the excretion bag 50, allowing the inner surface 51 to bulge downward more significantly.

Claims (2)

A rear sheet of the diaper body that encases the buttocks is provided with an excretion window and a tail insertion hole, and a frame having an opening is fixed to the rear sheet so that the opening communicates with the excretion window;
The excretion bag is connected to the frame by fixing the opening edge of the excretion bag to the frame in an internally communicating state,
