Description

The present invention relates to a backpack back panel and a backpack.

Traditionally, school bags are provided with a backrest. For example, JP 2015-181551 A (Patent Document 1) describes a backrest whose overall vertical cross section is S-shaped.

The backrest described in the above publication has an S-shape, which means that the shoulder straps can easily slip behind the backrest. If the shoulder straps slip behind the backrest, the backrest will no longer be able to provide firm support for the user's lower back.

The present invention was made in consideration of the above problems, and its purpose is to provide a backpack back panel that can prevent the shoulder strap from slipping behind the back panel, and a backpack equipped with the same.

The back panel of the backpack of the present invention is a backpack with a storage section including a front section and a back section facing the front section and having a base material . The back panel of the backpack has a flat section arranged at the upper part of the back section of the storage section, and a protruding section connected to the flat section and arranged at the lower part of the back section. The protruding section is configured to protrude from the flat section to the side opposite the front section. The protruding section has a side section extending in the opposing direction in which the front section and the back section face each other. The side section extends in the up-down direction in which the upper and lower parts of the back section face each other. The protruding section has an overhanging section arranged at an end on the front section side in the opposing direction. The overhanging section overhangs outward from the side section. The overhanging section is provided on the protruding section and the flat section. The back panel is configured to be detachable from the base material.

The backpack back panel of the present invention can prevent the backpack strap from slipping behind the back panel.

Below, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The backpack in this embodiment can be applied to various backpacks such as rucksacks and school bags. In the following, the same or corresponding parts will be given the same reference numerals, and overlapping descriptions will not be repeated.

First, the configuration of the backpack 100 in this embodiment will be described with reference to Figures 1 to 11.

As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the backpack 100 in this embodiment mainly comprises a storage section 1, a lid section 2, a pair of shoulder straps 3, a first pocket 4, a second pocket 5, a third pocket 6, a handle 7, a buckle 8, a cushioning material 9, a connecting member 10, and a pair of rotation suppressing members 20.

The storage section 1 includes a front section 1a, a back section 1b, a pair of side sections 1c, and a bottom section 1d. The front section 1a is disposed on the front side of the backpack 100. The back section 1b is disposed on the rear side of the backpack 100. The back section 1b faces the front section 1a. An opening is provided at the upper end of the storage section 1. In Figures 1 to 3, the opening is covered by a lid section 2. The storage section 1 has a storage space that communicates with the opening. The storage space is a space surrounded by the inner circumferential surfaces of the front section 1a, the back section 1b, the pair of side sections 1c, and the bottom section 1d. The storage section 1 is configured so that, for example, a textbook can be stored in the storage space through the opening.

A first pocket 4 is disposed on the outside of the front portion 1a of the storage portion 1. A second pocket 5 is disposed on the outside of the first side portion 1c1 of the pair of side portions 1c of the storage portion 1. A third pocket 6 is disposed on the outside of the second side portion 1c2 of the pair of side portions 1c of the storage portion 1. The first pocket 4, second pocket 5, and third pocket 6 are configured to be capable of storing, for example, stationery. A cushioning material 9 is disposed on the outside of the back portion 1b of the storage portion 1.

As shown in Figures 1 to 3, the lid 2 is connected to the upper end of the back 1b of the storage section 1. The lid 2 is configured to be able to open and close the opening with the upper end of the back 1b as the base end. The lid 2 is configured to be able to be connected to the first pocket 4 via a buckle 8. The buckle 8 is configured so that the part connected to the lid 2 and the part connected to the first pocket 4 can be attached and detached. The lid 2 is configured to be able to be opened and closed by attaching and detaching the buckle 8. The ceiling 2a of the lid 2 is configured to be able to be opened and closed by opening and closing the fastener 2b. A handle 7 is attached to the ceiling 2a of the lid 2.

The pair of shoulder straps 3 are configured to be worn at least on the shoulders of the user when the user carries the backpack 100 on his/her back. The pair of shoulder straps 3 are connected to the storage section 1. The pair of shoulder straps 3 are connected to the back 1b of the storage section 1. Each of the pair of shoulder straps 3 includes a first end E1 and a second end E2 in the extension direction.

The first end E1 of each of the pair of shoulder straps 3 is connected to the lower part of the storage unit 1. The first end E1 of each of the pair of shoulder straps 3 is connected to a connecting member 10. The first end E1 of each of the pair of shoulder straps 3 is connected to the lower part of the back 1b of the storage unit 1 via the connecting member 10.

The second end E2 of each of the pair of shoulder straps 3 is connected to the upper part of the storage section 1 by a rotation axis R. The second end E2 of each of the pair of shoulder straps 3 is configured to be rotatable around the rotation axis R along the back 1b. A rivet may be used as the rotation axis R. The rivet has a head and a shaft. The head protrudes from the shaft in the radial direction of the shaft. More specifically, the second end E2 of each of the pair of shoulder straps 3 may be configured to be rotatable around the shaft of the rivet.

The pair of shoulder belts 3 includes a first shoulder belt 31 and a second shoulder belt 32. The first shoulder belt 31 and the second shoulder belt 32 are arranged side by side in the width direction (left-right direction) of the backpack 100. The first shoulder belt 31 is configured to be able to rotate inward toward the second shoulder belt 32. The second shoulder belt 32 is configured to be able to rotate inward toward the first shoulder belt 31.

The pair of rotation suppressing members 20 are attached to the upper part of the storage section 1. Each of the pair of rotation suppressing members 20 is arranged to sandwich the second end E2 of each of the pair of shoulder belts 3. Each of the pair of rotation suppressing members 20 is configured to be capable of suppressing each of the pair of shoulder belts 3 from rotating away from each other.

The pair of rotation suppressing members 20 includes a first rotation suppressing member 21 and a second rotation suppressing member 22. The first rotation suppressing member 21 and the second rotation suppressing member 22 are arranged side by side in the width direction (left-right direction) of the backpack 100. The first rotation suppressing member 21 is arranged on the outside of the second end E2 of the first shoulder strap 31. The first rotation suppressing member 21 is sewn to the back 1b of the storage unit 1. The second rotation suppressing member 22 is arranged on the outside of the second end E2 of the second shoulder strap 32. The second rotation suppressing member 22 is sewn to the back 1b of the storage unit 1.

In this embodiment, the pair of shoulder straps 3 has a chest belt 33. Also, each of the pair of shoulder straps 3 has a D-ring 34.

4 and 5, the back portion 1b includes a base material 40, a back plate 50, and a position adjustment member 60. The base material 40 is configured to cover the back plate 50. A slit SL is provided in the base material 40. A first mark M1 and a second mark M2 are provided in the base material 40. The first mark M1 is provided below the slit SL. The second mark M2 is provided below the first mark M1. The first mark M1 and the second mark M2 are for aligning the position adjustment member 60. The back plate 50 faces the base material 40. The back plate 50 may be configured to be detachable from the base material 40. For example, the back plate 50 may be configured to be detachable from the back portion 1b through an insertion port (not shown) provided at the upper end of the back portion 1b.

As shown in Figs. 5 and 6, the back plate 50 has a flat portion 51 and a protruding portion 52. The back plate 50 is the back plate 50 of the backpack 100 having the storage section 1 including the front portion 1a and the back portion 1b facing the front portion 1a. The backpack 100 has the back plate 50. The flat portion 51 is disposed on the upper portion of the back portion 1b. The protruding portion 52 is connected to the flat portion 51. The protruding portion 52 is disposed on the lower portion of the back portion 1b. The protruding portion 52 is configured to protrude from the flat portion 51 to the opposite side to the front portion 1a. The position adjustment member 60 is configured to be able to move the back plate 50 relative to the base material 40 so that the protruding portion 52 moves in the up-down direction where the upper and lower portions of the back portion 1b face each other.

As shown in Figures 5 and 7, the position adjustment member 60 is connected to the back plate 50. The position adjustment member 60 is fixed to the front surface 50a of the back plate 50, for example by rivets. The tip 61 of the position adjustment member 60 protrudes from the slit SL. The position adjustment member 60 extends downward from the slit SL. The tip 61 of the position adjustment member 60 has a D-ring 62. A mark 63 is provided on the tip 61 of the position adjustment member 60. The mark 63 is for aligning with the first mark M1 or the second mark M2.

The position adjustment member 60 has a fixing member 64 that can be fixed to the base material 40. The position adjustment member 60 includes a first fixing portion 65 and a second fixing portion 66. The first fixing portion 65 and the second fixing portion 66 are configured to be able to be fixed to each other. The first fixing portion 65 and the second fixing portion 66 are arranged to face each other. The first fixing portion 65 is attached to the base material 40. The second fixing portion 66 is attached to the position adjustment member 60. The fixing member 64 includes at least one of a Velcro fastener, a magnet, and a hook. The fixing member 64 is arranged along the vertical direction. The fixing member 64 is continuously arranged along the vertical direction. The fixing member 64 may also be arranged intermittently along the vertical direction. The fixing member 64 may also be provided in multiple rows.

The configuration of the back plate 50 will be described in more detail with reference to FIGS.
8 and 9, the flat portion 51 is configured to be substantially flat. A recess 51a is provided in the flat portion 51. The recess 51a is recessed in a direction from the rear surface 50b toward the front surface 50a. The recess 51a is disposed in the center of the width direction of the back plate 50. The recess 51a is configured to fix the position adjustment member 60 (see FIG. 7). The flat portion 51 is configured to be trapezoidal in plan view so that the width becomes wider toward the protruding portion 52.

The protruding portion 52 protrudes from the flat portion 51 in a direction from the front surface 50a toward the back surface 50b. The protruding portion 52 is configured to be taller than the flat portion 51. The protruding portion 52 is configured to gradually increase in height from the upper end to the lower end of the protruding portion 52 in the vertical direction of the back panel 50, until it reaches an apex, at which point the height gradually decreases. In the vertical direction of the back panel 50, the length from the upper end to the apex of the protruding portion 52 is longer than the length from the apex to the lower end of the protruding portion 52.

The protrusion 52 is configured so that the width of the protrusion 52 gradually narrows and then widens from the upper end to the apex of the protrusion 52. The protrusion 52 is configured so that the width is maintained and then narrows from the apex to the lower end.

As shown in Figures 6 and 10, the protrusion 52 has a side portion SP. The side portion SP extends in the opposing direction in which the front portion 1a and the back portion 1b face each other. The side portion SP extends in the up-down direction in which the upper and lower portions of the back portion 1b face each other. The side portion SP is provided continuously from one end to the other end of the protrusion 52 in the opposing direction. The side portion SP is provided continuously from the upper end to the lower end of the protrusion 52 in the up-down direction.

The protruding portion 52 has a bottom surface portion BP. The bottom surface portion BP is connected to the side surface portion SP. The bottom surface portion BP extends in the opposing direction in which the front portion 1a and the back portion 1b face each other. The bottom surface portion BP is provided continuously from one end of the protruding portion 52 to the other end in the opposing direction. The bottom surface portion BP is located at the lower end of the protruding portion 52 in the up-down direction.

The protruding portion 52 has an overhanging portion 53. The overhanging portion 53 is disposed at the end on the front portion 1a side in the opposing direction. The overhanging portion 53 is disposed at one end of the protruding portion 52 in the opposing direction. The overhanging portion 53 overhangs outward from the side surface portion SP. The overhanging portion 53 is provided on the protruding portion 52 around the entire circumference of the side surface portion SP. Note that in this embodiment, the overhanging portion 53 is also provided on the flat portion 51.

The operation of the backpack 100 in this embodiment will be described with reference to Figures 5 and 11.

As shown in FIG. 5, the back plate 50 is disposed on the upper side relative to the base material 40. The mark 63 of the position adjustment member 60 is aligned with the first mark M1.

As shown in FIG. 6, the position adjustment member 60 is pulled downward, causing the back plate 50 to move downward. The back plate 50 is disposed on the upper side relative to the base material 40. The mark 63 of the position adjustment member 60 is aligned with the second mark M2.

In addition, the back plate 50 moves upward as the position adjustment member 60 is pushed upward. As a result, the back plate 50 moves upward relative to the base material 40 as shown in FIG. 5. In this manner, the back plate 50 moves vertically relative to the base material 40. As a result, the protruding portion 52 of the back plate 50 can be moved vertically relative to the base material 40.

Next, the effects of backpack 100 in this embodiment will be described.
According to the back panel 50 of the backpack 100 in this embodiment, the protruding portion 52 has a side surface portion SP. Therefore, the side surface portion SP can prevent the backpack belt 3 from penetrating the back side of the back panel 50. In other words, the side surface portion SP can prevent the backpack belt 3 from penetrating the back side of the back panel 50 from the side of the back panel 50. More specifically, the backpack belt 3 may enter the back side of the back panel 50 through the surface member of the back part 1b. In particular, in the case of a nylon bag in which the surface member of the back part 1b is easily deformed, the backpack belt 3 is likely to enter the back side of the back panel 50 through the surface member of the back part 1b. Even in such a case, the side surface portion SP can prevent the backpack belt 3 from penetrating the back side of the back panel 50.

The side surface portion SP prevents the shoulder strap 3 from slipping under the back panel 50, allowing the back panel 50 to firmly support the user's lower back.

The protrusions 52 extend in the opposing direction where the front portion 1a and the back portion 1b face each other, and in the vertical direction where the upper and lower portions of the back portion 1b face each other. Therefore, the side portions SP can prevent the shoulder straps 3 from getting under the back of the back panel 50 in the opposing direction and the vertical direction.

According to the back panel 50 of the backpack 100 in this embodiment, the protruding portion 52 has a bottom surface portion BP. Therefore, the bottom surface portion BP can prevent the backpack belt 3 from penetrating into the back side of the back panel 50. In other words, the bottom surface portion BP can prevent the backpack belt 3 from penetrating into the back side of the back panel 50 from the bottom surface of the back panel 50.

In the present embodiment, the back panel 50 of the backpack 100 has a protruding portion 53, which protrudes outward from the side surface portion SP. Therefore, the protruding portion 53 can prevent the shoulder strap 3 from passing over the side surface portion SP and entering the back side of the back panel 50.

The backpack 100 in this embodiment is equipped with the back panel 50 of the backpack 100 described above, which prevents the backpack belt from getting behind the back panel.
