Description

The present invention relates to a backpack.

Traditionally, backpacks equipped with a pair of shoulder straps have been used. For example, Utility Model Registration No. 3115681 (Patent Document 1) describes a backpack-shaped bag equipped with shoulder straps. The bag described in this publication allows the height of the attachment position of the padding on the shoulder strap to be adjusted.

In the bag described in the above publication, the upper attachment position of the shoulder strap is adjustable. However, even if the upper attachment position of the shoulder strap is adjusted, the movement of the bag is insufficient.

The present invention was made in consideration of the above problems, and its purpose is to provide a backpack that allows the storage compartment to be moved sufficiently by adjusting the attachment position of the backpack belt to the storage compartment.

The backpack bag of the present invention comprises a storage section and a pair of shoulder straps connected to the storage section. Each of the pair of shoulder straps includes a first end and a second end in an extension direction. The first end of each of the pair of shoulder straps is connected to an upper part of the storage section. The second end of each of the pair of shoulder straps is connected to a lower part of the storage section so that a connection position with the storage section can be adjusted in the vertical direction of the storage section. The storage section includes a back section and a connecting member. The connecting member is provided on the back section of the storage section, is arranged so as to protrude outward from the back section, and is configured to be connectable to the second end of each of the pair of shoulder straps.

With the backpack of the present invention, the storage compartment can be moved sufficiently by adjusting the attachment position of the backpack belt to the storage compartment.

Below, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The backpack in this embodiment can be applied to various backpacks such as rucksacks and school bags. First, the configuration of the backpack 100 in this embodiment will be described with reference to Figures 1 to 3.

As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the backpack 100 in this embodiment mainly comprises a storage section 1, a lid section 2, a pair of shoulder straps 3, a first pocket 4, a second pocket 5, a third pocket 6, a handle 7, a buckle 8, a cushioning material 9, and a pair of rotation suppressing members 20.

The storage section 1 includes a front section 1a, a back section 1b, a pair of side sections 1c, and a bottom section 1d. The front section 1a is disposed on the front side of the backpack 100. The back section 1b is disposed on the rear side of the backpack 100. The back section 1b faces the front section 1a. An opening is provided at the upper end of the storage section 1. In Figures 1 to 3, the opening is covered by a lid section 2. The storage section 1 has a storage space that communicates with the opening. The storage space is a space surrounded by the inner circumferential surfaces of the front section 1a, the back section 1b, the pair of side sections 1c, and the bottom section 1d. The storage section 1 is configured so that, for example, a textbook can be stored in the storage space through the opening.

A first pocket 4 is disposed on the outside of the front portion 1a of the storage portion 1. A second pocket 5 is disposed on the outside of the first side portion 1c1 of the pair of side portions 1c of the storage portion 1. A third pocket 6 is disposed on the outside of the second side portion 1c2 of the pair of side portions 1c of the storage portion 1. The first end E1 is one end of the shoulder belt 3 in the extension direction. The second end E2 is the other end of the shoulder belt 3 in the extension direction.

The first end E1 of each of the pair of shoulder straps 3 is connected to the upper part of the storage section 1. The first end E1 of each of the pair of shoulder straps 3 is connected to the upper part of the storage section 1 by a connecting member R. The first end E1 of each of the pair of shoulder straps 3 is configured to be rotatable around the connecting member R along the back 1b. A rivet may be used as the connecting member R. The rivet has a head and a shaft. The head protrudes from the shaft in the radial direction of the shaft. More specifically, the first end E1 of each of the pair of shoulder straps 3 may be configured to be rotatable around the shaft of the rivet.

The second end E2 of each of the pair of shoulder straps 3 is connected to the lower part of the storage unit 1 so that the attachment position to the storage unit 1 can be adjusted in the vertical direction of the storage unit 1. The second end E2 of each of the pair of shoulder straps 3 is configured so that the attachment position to the storage unit 1 can be adjusted in the vertical direction of the storage unit 1. The second end E2 of each of the pair of shoulder belts 3 is selectively connected to a plurality of connection parts 40. That is, the second end E2 of each of the pair of shoulder belts 3 is selectively connected to the first connection part 41, the second connection part 42, or the third connection part 43. In FIG. 2, the second end E2 of each of the pair of shoulder belts 3 is connected to the first connection part 41.

The pair of shoulder straps 3 includes a first shoulder strap 31 and a second shoulder strap 32. The first shoulder strap 31 and the second shoulder strap 32 are arranged side by side in the width direction (left and right direction) of the backpack 100.

The pair of rotation suppressing members 20 are attached to the upper part of the storage section 1. Each of the pair of rotation suppressing members 20 is configured to be able to suppress the rotation of each of the pair of shoulder belts 3 away from each other. The pair of rotation suppressing members 20 includes a first rotation suppressing member 21 and a second rotation suppressing member 22. The first rotation suppressing member 21 and the second rotation suppressing member 22 are arranged side by side in the width direction (left-right direction) of the backpack 100.

In this embodiment, the pair of shoulder straps 3 has a chest belt 33. Also, each of the pair of shoulder straps 3 has a D-ring 34.

Referring to Figure 4, the mechanism for adjusting the mounting position of the backpack belt 3 of the backpack 100 in this embodiment will be described.

As shown in FIG. 4, the mounting position of the carrying belt 3 is adjusted by connecting the carrying belt 3 to the first mounting position or the second mounting position. When the carrying belt 3 is connected to the first mounting position, the second end E2 of the carrying belt 3 is connected to the second connection part 42. When the carrying belt 3 is connected to the second mounting position, the second end E2 of the carrying belt 3 is connected to the third connection part 43. The length of the carrying belt 3 is the same when the carrying belt 3 is connected to the first mounting position and when the carrying belt 3 is connected to the second mounting position.

When the backpack belt 3 is connected to the second mounting position, the upper end of the lid portion 2 and the lower end of the storage portion 1 of the backpack bag 100 are located at a higher height than when the backpack belt 3 is connected to the first mounting position. In other words, when the backpack belt 3 is connected to the second mounting position, the storage portion 1 is raised upward compared to when the backpack belt 3 is connected to the first mounting position.

With reference to Figures 4 and 5, the vertical distance Y2 from the shoulder of a person carrying the backpack 100 to the center of the storage section 1 depending on the attachment positions of the first end E1 and the second end E2 of the backpack belt 3 will be described.

The mounting position of the shoulder strap 3 is adjusted to accommodate the growth in height of the person carrying the backpack 100.

As shown in the above formula (2), when the attachment position of the first end E1 of the shoulder belt 3 is raised without changing the length a1 of the shoulder belt 3, the vertical length a2 between the first end E1 and the second end E2 increases, and the distance Z1 from the back to the chest decreases. Also, when the attachment position of the second end E2 of the shoulder belt 3 is raised without changing the length a1 of the shoulder belt 3, the vertical length a2 between the first end E1 and the second end E2 decreases, and the distance Z1 from the back to the chest increases.

For this reason, in the method of adjusting the vertical length b1 from the first end E1 to the top end of the lid 2, adjustments to height and adjustments to chest thickness occur inversely in physical growth. Therefore, in terms of movement of the storage unit 1 due to adjustments to the mounting position of the shoulder strap 3, the amount of movement of the storage unit 1 is small in the method of adjusting the vertical length b1 from the first end E1 to the top end of the lid 2. Therefore, as height and chest thickness increase in the course of physical growth, the method of adjusting the vertical length b1 from the first end E1 to the top end of the lid 2 does not result in sufficient movement of the storage unit 1.

In contrast, in the method of adjusting the vertical length b2 from the second end E2 to the bottom end of the storage unit 1, adjustments to height and adjustments to chest thickness in physical growth result in the same movement. Therefore, in terms of movement of the storage unit 1 due to adjustments to the mounting position of the shoulder strap 3, the amount of movement of the storage unit 1 is large when adjusting the vertical length b2 from the second end E2 to the bottom end of the storage unit 1. Therefore, when height and chest thickness increase in physical growth, the method of adjusting the vertical length b2 from the second end E2 to the bottom end of the storage unit 1 allows the storage unit 1 to move sufficiently.

A modified version of the backpack 100 in this embodiment will be described with reference to Figures 7 and 8. In this modified version of the backpack 100 in this embodiment, the mounting position of the backpack belt 3 can be changed in the width direction of the storage section 1.

When the body is small, the width of the body is narrow, so the width of the backpack 100 is large compared to the body width. If the mounting position of the backpack belt 3 is too far from the body, the backpack 100 will sway sideways, resulting in a lack of stability. As the body grows, the width of the body also increases, so the mounting position of the backpack belt 3 needs to be adjusted.

As shown in FIG. 7, the attachment position of the second end E2 of the shoulder strap 3 in the width direction of the storage section 1 is attachment position A when the body is small, and then to the outer attachment position B as the body grows, and to the even outer attachment position C.

As shown in FIG. 8, the attachment position of the first end E1 of the shoulder strap 3 in the width direction of the storage section 1 may be adjustable. The attachment position of the first end E1 of the shoulder strap 3 in the width direction of the storage section 1 may be attachment position D when the body is small, and may be attached to the outside at attachment position E as the body grows. Note that the position of the connecting member R (see FIG. 3) may be configured to be movable, so that the attachment position of the first end E1 of the shoulder strap 3 can be adjusted to attachment position D or attachment position E.

Next, the effects of the backpack 100 in this embodiment will be described.

According to the backpack 100 of this embodiment, the second end E2 of each of the pair of shoulder straps 3 is connected to the lower part of the storage unit 1 so that the attachment position to the storage unit 1 can be adjusted in the vertical direction of the storage unit 1. Therefore, by adjusting the attachment position of the second end E2 of the shoulder straps 3 to the storage unit 1, the storage unit 1 can be moved in the vertical direction. In addition, because the attachment position of the second end E2 of the shoulder straps 3 to the storage unit 1 is adjusted, adjustments for height and adjustments for chest thickness are the same movement in physical growth, so the storage unit 1 can be moved sufficiently.

According to the backpack 100 of this embodiment, the second end E2 of each of the pair of shoulder straps 3 is connected to the lower part of the storage unit 1 so that the attachment position to the storage unit 1 can be adjusted in the width direction perpendicular to the up-down direction of the storage unit 1. Therefore, the storage unit 1 can be moved in the width direction by adjusting the attachment position of the second end E2 of the shoulder straps 3 to the storage unit 1. Therefore, the storage unit 1 can be moved sufficiently in the up-down direction and the width direction by adjusting the attachment position of the second end E2 of the shoulder straps 3 to the storage unit 1. In the backpack 100 of this embodiment, the multiple connection parts 40 are arranged at a distance from each other in the vertical and width directions of the storage section 1. Therefore, by connecting the second end E2 of the backpack belt 3 to the multiple connection parts 40, the attachment position of the second end E2 of the backpack belt 3 to the storage section 1 can be adjusted in the vertical and width directions.

In the backpack 100 of this embodiment, multiple connection parts 40 are provided on the back 1b and the bottom 1d. Therefore, by connecting the second end E2 of the backpack belt 3 to the multiple connection parts 40 provided on the back 1b and the bottom 1d, the attachment position of the second end E2 of the backpack belt 3 to the storage section 1 can be adjusted in the vertical and width directions.
