Description
<押出装置>
図1は、本実施の形態の押出装置(押出機)1の構成例を示す説明図(側面図)である。図2は、押出装置1のシリンダ2内の構造を模式的に示す説明図(平面透視図)である。図2には、図1に示す押出装置1を上方から見たときに、シリンダ2内に配置されるスクリュ3を透視して示してある。
押出装置のシリンダに供給される樹脂材料が、水分を高い割合で含む場合があるが、押出装置から押し出される樹脂材料の含水率が高いと、押出装置から押し出された材料を用いて樹脂ペレットなどの樹脂製品を製造することが困難となる。このため、押出装置のシリンダに供給する樹脂材料の含水率が高い場合には、押出装置のシリンダの途中に脱水用シリンダ(脱水用のシリンダブロック11bに対応)を設け、シリンダ内を搬送される樹脂材料から水分を分離し、分離された水分をその脱水用シリンダから排出することが望ましい。
図3は、本実施の形態の押出装置2の一部を示す側面図であり、図4は、本実施の形態の押出装置2の一部を示す平面図(上面図)であり、図5は、本実施の形態の押出装置2の断面図である。図3および図4には、脱水用のシリンダブロック11bの側面図および平面図が示されており、図3および図4に示されるA-A線の位置での断面図が、図5にほぼ対応している。図6は、脱水用のシリンダブロック11bに用いられている板状部材13を示す平面図であり、X方向から板状部材13を見たときの平面図が示されている。図7~図9は、脱水用のシリンダブロック11bに用いられている板状部材13を示す断面図である。図6に示されるB-B線の位置での断面図が、図7にほぼ対応し、図6に示されるC-C線の位置での断面図が、図8にほぼ対応し、図6に示されるD-D線の位置での断面図が、図9にほぼ対応している。図10は、シリンダ2の長軸方向に配列された複数の板状部材13を示す断面図であり、図7に示される断面に対応する断面図が示されている。図11は、図10の一部を拡大して示す部分拡大断面図である。

Claims (13)
- 以下を含む押出装置:
シリンダ;
前記シリンダ内に、水分を含む樹脂材料を供給する供給部;
前記シリンダに内蔵され、前記シリンダに供給された前記樹脂材料を搬送するスクリュ;および
前記シリンダの途中に設けられ、前記樹脂材料から分離された水分を排出するための脱水用シリンダ部、
ここで、
前記脱水用シリンダ部は、前記スクリュが貫通する開口部を有する複数の板状部材が、前記シリンダの長軸方向に配列された構造を有し、
前記複数の板状部材の互いに対向する面の表面粗さは、前記シリンダの内壁の表面粗さよりも粗い。 - 請求項1記載の押出装置において、
前記樹脂材料から分離された水分が、前記複数の板状部材の互いに対向する面の間から選択的に排出される、押出装置。 - 請求項1記載の押出装置において、
前記複数の板状部材の互いに対向する面の表面粗さは、算術平均粗さRaとして表すと、1.6a~25aである、押出装置。 - 請求項1記載の押出装置において、
前記複数の板状部材のそれぞれは、前記シリンダの長軸方向において局所的に突出した突出部を有し、
前記突出部により、前記複数の板状部材の間の隙間が規定されている、押出装置。 - 押出装置に用いられ、以下を含む脱水用シリンダ:
開口部を有し、かつ前記開口部同士が互いに連通するように配列された複数の板状部材、
ここで、前記複数の板状部材の互いに対向する面の表面粗さは、算術平均粗さRaとして表すと、1.6a~25aであり、
前記開口部は、前記押出装置のスクリュが貫通可能である、脱水用シリンダ。 - 以下の工程を含む、脱水方法:
(a)水分を含む樹脂材料をシリンダ内に供給する工程;
(b)前記(a)工程の後、前記シリンダ内のスクリュによって前記樹脂材料を搬送する工程、
(c)前記(a)工程の後、前記樹脂材料から分離された水分を、前記シリンダの途中に設けられた脱水用シリンダ部から排出する工程、
(d)前記(b)工程および前記(c)工程の後、前記シリンダの先端部に接続されたダイから前記樹脂材料を押し出す工程、
ここで、
前記脱水用シリンダ部は、前記スクリュが貫通する開口部を有する複数の板状部材が、前記シリンダの長軸方向に配列された構造を有し、
前記複数の板状部材の互いに対向する面の表面粗さは、前記シリンダの内壁の表面粗さよりも粗い。 - 請求項6記載の脱水方法において、
前記(c)工程では、前記樹脂材料から分離された水分が、前記複数の板状部材の互いに対向する面の間から選択的に排出される、脱水方法。 - 請求項6記載の脱水方法において、
前記複数の板状部材の互いに対向する面の表面粗さは、算術平均粗さRaとして表すと、1.6a~25aである、脱水方法。 - 請求項6記載の脱水方法において、
前記複数の板状部材のそれぞれは、前記シリンダの長軸方向において局所的に突出した突出部を有し、
前記突出部により、前記複数の板状部材の間の隙間が規定される、脱水方法。 - 以下の工程を含む、樹脂ペレットの製造方法:
(a)水分を含む樹脂材料をシリンダ内に供給する工程;
(b)前記(a)工程の後、前記シリンダ内のスクリュによって前記樹脂材料を搬送する工程、
(c)前記(a)工程の後、前記樹脂材料から分離された水分を、前記シリンダの途中に設けられた脱水用シリンダ部から排出する工程、
(d)前記(b)工程および前記(c)工程の後、前記シリンダの先端部に接続されたダイから前記樹脂材料を押し出す工程、
(e)前記(d)工程の後、前記ダイから押し出された前記樹脂材料を切断して、樹脂ペレットを形成する工程、
ここで、
前記脱水用シリンダ部は、前記スクリュが貫通する開口部を有する複数の板状部材が、前記シリンダの長軸方向に配列された構造を有し、
前記複数の板状部材の互いに対向する面の表面粗さは、前記シリンダの内壁の表面粗さよりも粗い。 - 請求項10記載の樹脂ペレットの製造方法において、
