Description

The present invention relates to the technical field of partitions that are constructed by providing a partition plate between adjacent vertical posts on the left and right, and methods for attaching the vertical posts to the partitions.

Today, in order to separate an indoor space into front and back sections, a partition plate such as a glass plate is placed between adjacent vertical posts on the left and right sides, and the vertical posts are erected between the floor and ceiling surfaces. When positioning and attaching such vertical posts to the ceiling surface, there is a method in which a ceiling rail is attached to the ceiling surface, and the upper edge of the vertical post is positioned and attached to the ceiling rail (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
However, from the standpoint of freedom of installation location (for example rearrangement), there are cases where a ceiling rail is not required. In that case, when attempting to install a vertical support directly between the floor and ceiling surfaces, even if the vertical support is made long enough to reach between the floor and ceiling surfaces, there is a problem that, due to assembly issues, there will inevitably be a gap between the upper edge of the long vertical support and the ceiling surface.
Therefore, it has been proposed to divide the vertical support into two parts: a support main body and an upper end member that is fitted into the upper edge of the support main body so as to be able to move freely up and down, and with the support main body standing upright from the floor surface, the upper end member is moved upward and the upwardly moved upper end member is bolted to the support main body (see, for example, Patent Document 2).

特開2018-168616号公報JP 2018-168616 A 特開2004-107986号公報JP 2004-107986 A

However, in the above-mentioned conventional vertical support divided into two, the upper end member is fixed to the main body of the support by bolts using bolt holes drilled in advance, so if the bolt holes do not match when the upper end member is at the appropriate height (appropriate position), the upper end member cannot be attached at the appropriate height. It has therefore been proposed to fix the upper end member to the main body of the support by lifting the upper end member to the appropriate height and screwing in the screw while drilling the hole, but in this case, not only is the screwing work required while the upper end member is lifted to the appropriate height, which not only reduces workability but also poses problems such as requiring skilled work when working alone, and these are the issues that the present invention aims to solve.

The present invention was created in consideration of the above-mentioned actual situation and with the aim of solving these problems. The invention of claim 1 is a partition that divides an indoor space into front and back by comprising vertical posts that are arranged adjacent to each other on the left and right without a ceiling rail and a partition plate that is assembled between the vertical posts, and in which the upper edge portions of the vertical posts are attached and supported to the ceiling surface, the partition comprises a positioning member that is attached to the vertical post portion of the ceiling surface, and a support member that is fitted into the upper edge portion of the vertical post so as to be freely adjustable up and down, and the support member is positioned relative to the ceiling surface by fitting into the positioning member, and a fixing piece portion for fixing the support member to the ceiling surface is bent.
The invention of claim 2 is the partition according to claim 1, characterized in that the upper portion of the support member exposed from the upper end position of the vertical support pillar that can be adjusted up and down is cylindrical.
The invention of claim 3 is the partition according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the fixing piece portion is bent so as to protrude toward the side of the support member where the partition plate is assembled.
The invention of claim 4 is a partition described in any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the vertical support is composed of a support body that is erected between the ceiling surface and the floor surface, and a vertical frame material having a groove-shaped portion into which the partition plate is inserted, and a support member that is positioned by fitting into the positioning member is fitted into the upper edge portion of the support body.
The invention of claim 5 is a method for installing vertical posts in a partition, which divides an indoor space into front and back by having vertical posts arranged adjacent to each other on the left and right without a ceiling rail and a partition plate installed between the vertical posts, characterized in that when installing and supporting the upper edge portion of the vertical post to a ceiling surface, the following steps are sequentially carried out: a step of installing a positioning member at the vertical post installation portion on the ceiling surface; a step of lifting a support member fitted into the upper edge portion of the vertical post so as to be freely adjustable up and down, and fitting the support member into the installed positioning member to position the vertical post relative to the ceiling surface; and a step of fixing a fixing piece portion formed on the upper edge portion of the positioned support member to the ceiling surface to position and support the vertical post relative to the ceiling surface.

By using the invention of claim 1 or 5, the work of positioning the vertical support, which is a partition component, using a positioning member attached to the ceiling surface can be performed by fitting the support member provided on the upper edge of the vertical support into the positioning member, and then abutting and fixing the fixing piece portion provided on the support member against the ceiling surface, thereby allowing the vertical support to reach the ceiling surface and be easily installed without requiring skill even in the absence of a ceiling rail , thereby improving workability.
By adopting the invention of claim 2, the support member that is fitted into the upper edge portion of the vertical support has a cylindrical upper portion exposed from the vertical support. As a result, when the structure is adopted as a fireproof structure, it is possible to prevent flames from penetrating into the vertical support through the support member, thereby contributing to improved fire resistance.
By adopting the invention of claim 3, the fixing piece portion for fixing the support member to the ceiling surface is arranged so as to protrude toward the side where the partition plate is assembled. As a result, while the fixing piece portion protrudes from the main body of the support pillar, it is possible to fit within the range of the vertical support pillar and avoid it being visible from the outside.
By adopting the invention of claim 4, the vertical support is composed of a support body that is erected between the ceiling surface and the floor surface, and a vertical frame material having a groove-shaped portion into which the partition plate is inserted, thereby making it possible to provide an excellent strength while also making it possible to simply and reliably position and attach the support body.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In the drawings, reference numeral 1 denotes a partition that divides an indoor space into front and rear. The partition 1 is composed of a vertical support 2 provided adjacent to a wall surface W of a building frame, a vertical support 3 provided independently in the indoor space, and a glass plate 4 that is a thin-plate-like partition plate that is fitted between the vertical supports 2 and 3.
In this case, the glass plate 4 is made of a fire-resistant (heat-resistant, flame-resistant) glass material, which enhances the fire resistance of the partition 1; however, the partition plate used in the present invention is not limited to the glass plate 4, and various types of plate materials with excellent fire resistance, such as plate materials formed from metals such as iron and iron alloys, and non-combustible materials such as gypsum, calcium silicate, and calcium carbonate, can be used as the partition plate.

Each of the vertical supports 2, 3 is configured to include a support body 5 that is erected between a ceiling surface H and a floor surface F without the ceiling rails and floor rails that are normally provided on the ceiling surface H and floor surface F, and a vertical frame material 6 that is assembled to the support body 5. First, we will explain the vertical support 3 that is erected independently in the indoor space.
Each of the vertical supports 3 is formed by bending steel material, and is composed of a support body 5, vertical frame materials 6 attached to both the left and right sides of the support body 5, and auxiliary frame materials 7 sandwiched between the support body 5 and the vertical frame materials 6, with the support body 5 being set to be shorter than the dimension (height dimension) between the ceiling surface portion H and the floor surface portion F.

The pillar main body 5 comprises a first pillar member 5a which is long in the front-to-rear direction and has an opening on one side in the front-to-rear direction when viewed in a plane, and a second pillar member 5b which is shaped like a square and has an opening on the opposite side to the first pillar member 5a to cover the opening of the first pillar member 5a.The two leg pieces of the second pillar member 5b are fitted into the opening side of the first pillar member 5a, and the overlapping leg pieces are fixed to each other via screws 5c, thereby forming a cylindrical body which is rectangular in plan view, with the long sides (the two leg pieces of the first pillar member 5a) forming left and right visible surfaces (hereinafter referred to as the "main body side visible surfaces") 5d, and the short sides (the straddling portions of the first and second pillar members 5a, 5b) forming front and rear visible surfaces (hereinafter referred to as the "main body side visible surfaces") 5e.
In this case, in this embodiment, the upper and lower end edge portions of the leg piece 5h of the second support member 5b are cut out to accommodate the floor side positioning member 8 and support member 10 described later, and as a result, the upper and lower end edge portions of the support body 5 are formed as cut-out (missing) leg piece 5h of the second support member 5b, and the spanning piece portion of the first support member 5a and both leg pieces and the spanning piece portion of the second support member 5b form the four sides of a square when viewed in plan.
Incidentally, the support body 5 may be a rectangular or other quadrangular tubular body as is, and if necessary, the first support member 5a alone may remain U-shaped.

On the other hand, the vertical frame material 6 is provided with a projection surface portion (hereinafter referred to as the "frame material side projection surface portion") 6a and a projection surface portion (hereinafter referred to as the "frame material side projection surface portion") 6b which fit externally with a gap between the main body side projection surface portion 5d and the projection surface portion 5e, and a groove portion 6c into which the glass plate 4 is fitted is formed in the frame material side projection surface portion 6a, giving it a bow shape in a planar view, and furthermore, the front and rear frame material side projection surface portions 6b are structured so that frame material side folded surface portions 6d are bent from the tip edge portion toward the inside in the fore-and-aft direction.
The vertical frame material 6 is fitted externally into the main body visible surface portion 5e through openings formed between the tip edges of the front and rear frame material side curved surface portions 6d on both the left and right sides of the pillar main body 5 (the sides facing the main body side visible surface portion 5d).In the present invention, the auxiliary frame material 7 is fitted between the pillar main body 5 and the vertical frame material 6 as described above, which increases the strength and improves the fire resistance of the vertical pillar 3, as will be described later.
Incidentally, a notch 6g is formed at the upper edge of the vertical frame material 6 for loosely fitting a fixing piece portion 10e of the support member 10 described later.

In this embodiment, the auxiliary frame material 7 is U-shaped in plan view and is configured with an auxiliary frame side projection surface portion 7a that is sandwiched between the main body side projection surface portion 5d and the groove bottom surface portion 6e of the concave groove portion 6c, and the auxiliary frame side projection surface portion 7a extends in the front-rear direction beyond the main body side sight surface portion 5e (beyond the front and rear end edges of the main body side sight surface portion 5d) and is formed in a flat plate shape (flush) so that the extended front and rear end edges are closely opposed to or abut against the frame material side sight surface portion 6b. Then, the auxiliary frame side bent surface portion 7b is formed by bending the front-rear end edge of the auxiliary frame side projection surface portion 7a toward the outside in the left-right direction while following the frame material side sight surface portion 6b.
In addition, similar to the vertical frame material 6, the auxiliary frame material 7 is also formed with a notch 7c into which the fixing piece portion 10e of the support member 10 is loosely fitted.

The vertical support 3, which is composed of the support main body 5, a pair of left and right vertical frame members 6, and auxiliary frame member 7, is erected between the floor surface F and the ceiling surface H in an independent state without a ceiling rail, and therefore uses positioning members 8, 9 provided respectively on the floor surface F and the ceiling surface H, and a support member 10 used to incorporate the support main body 5 into the ceiling surface side positioning member 9, which will be explained next.
First, each positioning member 8, 9 is U-shaped, and is fixed via screws 8a, 9a by abutting the spanning portion when positioned at the upright position of the vertical support 3 on the floor surface F and ceiling surface H.

On the other hand, the support member 10 is configured with a main body portion 10a having a U-shape in a plan view, and a blocking portion 10b having an inverted U-shape in a plan view that is integrally provided in a state of being fitted into the upper half of the main body portion 10a and blocks the upper half of the opening of the main body portion 10a, and is set to be fitted inside so as to be freely adjusted in the vertical position from the upper end edge of the support body 5. The upper end edge of the spanning piece portion 10c of the main body portion 10a is set to be located higher than the upper end edges of the front and rear leg pieces 10d, and a fixing piece portion 10e is bent outward in the left-right direction from the upper end edge of the spanning piece portion 10c.
On the other hand, the blocking portion 10b is configured to form the upper half of the support member 10 into a square tube shape in a plan view by the spanning portion 10f blocking the opening side of the main body portion 10a, and furthermore, is incorporated into the upper half portion of the main body portion 10a with both leg piece portions 10g fitted into both leg piece portions 10d of the main body portion 10a. However, the upper edge portion 10h of the incorporated blocking portion 10b is provided so as to be flush with the main body portion leg piece portion 10d. By being configured in this manner, the support member 10 is set so that the upper edge portion 10h and the fixing piece portion 10e are flush with each other.
Incidentally, when the support member 10 is fitted into the upper edge portion of the pillar body 5 , the fixing piece portion 10 e is set to descend under its own weight until it abuts against the upper edge portion of the pillar body 5 .

With each component configured in this manner, to erect the vertical support 3 independently between the floor surface F and ceiling surface H of the indoor space (without a ceiling rail or floor rail), first the positioning members 8, 9 on the floor surface and ceiling surface are positioned on the floor surface F and ceiling surface H, respectively, and then attached and fixed to the floor surface F and ceiling surface H via screws 8a, 9a.
Thereafter, the pillar body 5 with the support member 10 fitted inside from the upper edge is raised, and the lower edge of the pillar body 5 is externally fitted into the floor side positioning member 8 and abutted against the floor surface F. In this case, the pillar body 5 is shorter than the dimension between the ceiling surface H and the floor surface F, and the support member 10 has descended under its own weight so that the fixed piece portion 10e, which becomes the upper edge, is positioned at a low position abutting against the main body side visible surface portion 5d, so that there is no hindrance to the erection and assembly of the pillar body 5.

After the lower edge portion of the pillar main body 5 is assembled into the floor side positioning member 8 in this manner, the support member 10 fitted inside the upper edge portion of the pillar main body 5 is moved upward and the upper edge portion of the support member 10 is assembled outside the ceiling side positioning member 9, thereby positioning the upper edge portion of the pillar main body 5 relative to the ceiling surface H, and in this state, the fixing piece portion 10h is fixed to the ceiling surface H via a screw 10i.
In this way, the support column body 5 is erected in a self-supporting state with both upper and lower end edges positioned via the ceiling-side and floor-side positioning members 9, 8. Incidentally, the lower end edge of the support column body 5 erected in this manner is fixed to the floor-side positioning member 8 via a screw 5f.

After the main body 5 of the support is erected in the position described above, the auxiliary frame material 7 and the vertical frame material 6 are assembled to the left and right sides of the main body 5 of the support to form the vertical support 3. To do this, the auxiliary frame material 7 is assembled so that the projected surface 7a is in contact with the main body side projected surface 5d of the main body of the support with its lower edge abutting the floor surface F, and the vertical frame material 6 is assembled so that the groove bottom surface 6e of the concave groove 6c is in contact with the projected surface 7a of the auxiliary frame material 7 with its lower edge abutting the floor surface F. In this assembled state, the auxiliary frame material 7 and the vertical frame material 6 are fixed to the main body 5 of the support with screws 5g screwed into the groove bottom surface 6e of the concave groove at an appropriate vertical interval, and the vertical support 3 is assembled in a position relative to the floor surface F and the ceiling surface H.

Next, the assembly structure of the vertical support 2 that is assembled adjacent to the wall surface W will be described. In this case, the vertical support 2 does not have the auxiliary frame material 7 provided on the vertical support 3. In this case, the straddling piece 14a of the wall rail 14, which is shaped like a square in a plan view, is attached to the wall surface W via a screw 14b, and the support body 5 is positioned and attached between the floor surface F and the ceiling surface H via the floor surface side positioning member 8, the ceiling side positioning member 9, and the support member 10, as in the case of the vertical support 3, in a state where it is fitted into the leg piece portion 14c of the attached wall rail 14. The vertical support 2 is assembled by similarly assembling the vertical frame material 6 to the projection surface portion 5d on the opposite side of the wall surface W of the attached support body 5.
Incidentally, the leg piece 14c of the wall rail 14 is set to extend further inward in the left-right direction than the pillar main body 5. This is to absorb any assembly errors that may occur when assembling the partition 1 so that the pillar main body 5 always fits within the wall rail 14, and also to make it difficult for flames to penetrate into the vertical pillar 2.

Then, with the left and right edge portions of the upper and lower horizontal frame members 11, 12 butting against the upper and lower edge portions of the frame-side visible surface portion 6a of the vertical frame member 6 of the positioned and assembled vertical posts 2, 3, the upper and lower horizontal frame members 11, 12 are attached to the vertical frame member 6 via L-shaped connecting metal fittings 13, and the glass plate 4 is fitted into the concave groove portion 6c provided in the vertical frame member 6 and the concave groove portions 11a, 12a provided in the upper and lower horizontal frame members 11, 12 to form the partition 1. Note that 13a is a screw for fixing the connecting metal fittings 13 to the respective groove bottoms 6c, 11a, 12a of the vertical frame member 6 and the upper and lower horizontal frame members 11, 12.
The horizontal frame members 11, 12 are fixed to the ceiling surface H and floor surface L by screwing screws 11b, 12b into the groove bottoms 11a, 12a at an appropriate interval.

The partition 1 is thus formed by fitting a glass plate 4 between the vertical supports 2, 3 which are erected with a gap on the left and right sides. Furthermore, the vertical supports 2, 3 are provided with first and second fire-resistant materials (flame-blocking materials) 15, 16 which have fire-resistant and thermal expansion properties and which expand in volume when exposed to heat during a fire, etc., thereby blocking flames.
The first fire-resistant material 15 is provided on the groove side portion 6f of the groove portion 6c at the corner portion where the horizontal frame members 11, 12 of the vertical frame member 6 into which the glass plate 4 is inserted abut.In order to prevent flames (including smoke (fire smoke)) from passing through the gap between the vertical frame member 6 and the horizontal frame members 11, 12 at the portion where they abut, it is sufficient for the first fire-resistant material 15 to extend slightly beyond the portion of the space S1 formed by the groove portion 6c where the horizontal frame members 11, 12 are provided, and therefore the first fire-resistant material 15 is set to be short from the upper and lower edge portions of the groove side portion 6f to the portion where the horizontal frame members 11, 12 abut in the vertical direction.

In contrast, the second fire-resistant material 16 is intended to prevent flames on the side where a fire has occurred from penetrating into the vertical frame material 6 between the tip edge of the frame material side bent surface portion 6d of the vertical frame material 6 and the main body side visible surface portion 5e of the pillar main body 5, and is therefore provided over almost the entire length of the vertical pillars 2, 3.
In this case, for the vertical support 3 on which the auxiliary frame material 7 is provided, the second fireproof material 16 is provided in the space S2 surrounded on all four sides by the frame-side sight surface 6b of the vertical frame material 6, the frame-side bent surface 6d, the main body-side sight surface 5e of the support main body 5, and the auxiliary frame-side sight surface 7a of the auxiliary frame material 7, and the second fireproof material 16 is provided on the frame-side sight surface 6b before expansion in the space S2. When the second fireproof material 16 expands due to heat during a fire, the second fireproof material 16 expands so as to abut against the opposing main body-side sight surface 5e, filling the space S2, thereby preventing the intrusion of flames into the vertical frame material 6.

On the other hand, for vertical pillars 2 without auxiliary frame members 7, the second fireproof material 16 is provided in the space S2 surrounded on three sides by the main body side visible surface portion 5e of the pillar main body 5, the frame side visible surface portion 6b of the vertical frame member 6, and the frame side bent surface portion 6d. For the main body side visible surface portion 5e of the pillar main body 5, the space S2 is formed with the leg piece portion 14c of the wall rail 14 in between. The second fireproof material 16 is provided on the frame side visible surface portion 6b, and when the second fireproof material 16 expands due to heat during a fire, it expands toward the opposing main body side visible surface portion 5e side, expanding to abut against the leg piece portion 14c of the wall rail 14 and filling the space S2, thereby preventing fire smoke from entering the vertical frame member 6.

In the present embodiment configured as described above, a partition 1 for dividing an indoor space is provided with vertical posts 2, 3 adjacent to each other on the left and right and a glass plate 4 inserted between the vertical posts 2, 3. In order to attach and support the upper end edges of the vertical posts 2, 3 to the ceiling surface H, a ceiling surface side positioning member 9 is provided at the attachment portion of the vertical posts 2, 3 on the ceiling surface H, and a support member 10 is provided which fits into the upper end edges of the vertical posts 2, 3 so as to be freely adjusted up and down. The upper end edge of the support member 10 is positioned relative to the ceiling surface H by fitting into the ceiling side positioning member 9. By fixing a fixing piece portion 10e provided on the support member 10 to the ceiling surface H side via a screw 10i, installation when the vertical posts reach the ceiling surface can be easily performed without requiring skill even in the absence of a ceiling rail , thereby improving workability.

In addition, the support member 10 used in this embodiment has a rectangular cylindrical upper portion exposed from the upper end of the vertical supports 2 and 3, which are adjustable up and down, and is closed (shielded) on all sides. Therefore, when this is used in a case where a fire prevention function is required, it is possible to prevent flames from penetrating into the vertical supports 2 and 3 through the support member 10, which contributes to improving fire prevention.

On the other hand, when fixing the support member 10 to the ceiling surface H, the fixing piece portion 10e is bent and formed so as to protrude toward the side of the support member 10 where the glass plate 4 is assembled. As a result, while the fixing piece portion 10e protrudes from the pillar main body 5, the upper edge portion of the glass plate 4 can be covered by the vertical frame material 6 in the assembled state, which prevents it from being visible from the outside and does not impair visibility.
Furthermore, the vertical supports 2, 3 in this embodiment comprise a support main body 5 erected between the ceiling surface H and the floor surface F, and a vertical frame material 6 having a groove portion 6c formed therein into which the glass plate 4 is fitted. In this case, a support member 10 which is positioned by fitting into a ceiling surface side positioning member 9 is fitted into the upper edge portion of the support main body 5, so that the support main body can be positioned and attached easily and reliably while having excellent strength.

Of course, the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiment. In the case where the auxiliary frame material 7 is provided with the auxiliary frame side bent surface portion 7b, as in the second embodiment shown in FIG. 17(A), the auxiliary frame side bent surface portion 7b can be bent toward the frame material side bent surface portion 6d, in the opposite manner to that of the first embodiment, and the bent tip edge portion can be extended to the vicinity of the corner portion between the frame material side visible surface portion 6b and the frame material side bent surface portion 6d. By configuring in this manner, high fire resistance can be achieved. And in this embodiment, as in the above-mentioned embodiment, the first and second fireproof materials 15 and 16 are provided, but the second fireproof material 16 is provided on the auxiliary frame side bent surface portion 7b.

Furthermore, as for the auxiliary frame material 7, as in the third embodiment shown in Figure 17 (B), the auxiliary frame side visible surface portion 7a is equipped with a visible folded surface portion 7d folded from the tip edge portion of the main body side visible surface portion 5d along the main body side visible surface portion 5e, and a visible folded surface portion 7e folded from the tip edge of the visible folded surface portion 7d toward the frame material side visible surface portion 6b, and the tip edge of the visible folded surface portion 7e is configured to face closely to or abut against the frame material side visible surface portion.By configuring it in this manner, in addition to the fireproofing effect due to the tip edge of the visible folded surface portion 7e of the auxiliary member 7 being in close proximity to or abutting the frame material side visible surface portion 6b, a fireproofing effect can be achieved by narrowing the entry path of flames by the visible folded surface portion 7d running along the main body side visible surface portion 5e, thereby achieving higher fireproofing properties.
This structure also has first and second fire-resistant materials 15, 16, but the second fire-resistant material 16 is provided on the front bent surface portion 7d.
Furthermore, in this case, the anticipated curved surface portion 7e of the auxiliary frame material is arranged to fit along the frame material side curved surface portion 6d provided on the vertical frame material 6, so that the fire prevention effect can also be achieved here by narrowing the flame penetration path, resulting in higher fire resistance.
In this case, the second fireproof material 16 may be provided on the frame side visible surface portion 6b as in the above embodiment, and it is of course possible to provide it on both sides.

The present invention can be used as a partition constructed by fitting a thin partition plate such as a glass plate between adjacent vertical posts on the left and right.
