Description

This invention relates to a wire fixing device for fences and a fence equipped with a wire fixing device.

In the case of fences, it is common to stretch wire such as barbed wire along the top of the fence as a barrier against intruders.
The wire is generally attached to the post using a wire fixing tool, which is generally a washer and a hook bolt. That is, a through hole is formed in the post, a hook bolt is inserted through the hole, the wire is sandwiched between the washer and the hook part of the hook bolt, and the hook bolt is fastened from the opposite side of the post to fix the wire in place.
However, in the case of the conventional configuration described above, there was a problem that the washer would rotate and become misaligned during work, making the work difficult, and there was also a problem that the wire had barbed wire spikes, making the work even more difficult.
Another method involves attaching the wire to a U-shaped metal fitting and then fixing the U-shaped metal fitting to the support with a bolt and nut, but this poses problems in terms of workability, as the bolt must be inserted while aligning the hole position of the U-shaped metal fitting with the hole position of the support.
Furthermore, since work must be done at high altitudes on the top of the fence, the workability of the above-mentioned conventional fixing devices became a major problem, and improvements were required.
In view of the above-mentioned prior art, the inventors attempted various developments, and in particular worked on developing a fixing device that is easy to work with on the top of the support, which led to the development of a wire fixing device that utilizes a support cap that is attached to the top of the support.
It is known that there are conventional post caps equipped with locking pieces, but these locking pieces are either for attaching fence panels (Reference 1) or for locking wires such as communication cables (Reference 2), and the structure of these locking pieces does not allow for the fixing of wires, making it impossible for them to function as a sneak guard.

The present invention aims to solve the problems of the conventional technology described above, and to provide a wire fixing device that is easy to work with on the top of the posts, and a fence equipped with a wire fixing device.

In order to achieve the above object, the wire fastener of the present invention comprises a cap to be attached to the tip of a support, a plate piece attached to the cap and extending downward along the side of the support when attached to the support , and a hook bolt having a hook portion at one end and a male threaded portion at the other end, the plate piece has protrusions formed at the left and right ends of its upper horizontal portion that extend in a direction away from the side of the support when attached to the support , and a hook hole is drilled through the support and communicates with a through hole provided through the support, for passing the hook bolt through, the hook bolt is fixed to the support by passing the male threaded portion through the hook hole and tightening it with a nut, thereby clamping the wire between the hook portion and the plate piece, and the rotational force around the axis acting on the hook bolt as the nut is tightened is regulated by both side surfaces of the tip of the hook portion abutting against the protrusions .
Furthermore, the present invention is characterized in that the wire is fixed by a lower base portion of the protruding portion and a bent portion of the hook portion.
The fence of the present invention is characterized by including the above-mentioned fastener.

The wire fixing device of the present invention can be attached by attaching a cap to the tip of the support, and there is no need to hold the fixing device during work. In addition, the hook part of the hook bolt is locked in the rotational direction to the protruding part, so the hook bolt can be easily fastened. Furthermore, the wire is fixed by the lower base part of the protruding part and the bent part of the hook part, so simple and stable fixing can be achieved.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
First, the overall structure of the fence of the present invention is shown in FIG.
This fence 99 has posts 10, 10, and a fence panel 98 is attached between the posts 10, 10 to form a fence. The posts 10, 10 extend upward, and barbed wire 97 is attached above the fence panel 98 to form a barbed fence.
In this embodiment, three pieces of barbed wire 97 are installed, and the uppermost barbed wire 97 is fixed by a fixing device A including a cap 1 attached to the top of the support 10.
As shown by the arrows in Figure 8, the lateral direction of the fence 99 as viewed from the front is the horizontal direction H, with the left as viewed from the front being the left direction and the right as viewed from the front being the right direction. Similarly, the vertical direction V is viewed as the upward and downward directions. Furthermore, the direction of the front and back surfaces of the fence 99 is viewed as the surface direction F, with the front side as viewed from the front of the fence 99 being the front direction and the back side as viewed from the front being the back direction. The same is true for the other figures.

1 to 4 show the fixing device A in detail.
The cap 1 is cylindrical with a cap edge 20 formed around its periphery, and is configured to cover the top of the support pillar 10. A plate piece 2 is formed integrally with the cap 1 and continues from the cap edge 20. The plate piece 2 extends downward in the vertical direction V from the cap 1 along the side of the support pillar 10. The plate piece 2 has a seat plate 4 that fits along the support pillar 10, and side plates 3, 3 that are formed by bending and raising the left and right ends of the seat plate 4 in the horizontal direction H at approximately a right angle. The seat plate 4 is also formed with a hook hole 5 for passing a hook bolt 6 through.

As described above, the side plates 3, 3 are provided at the left and right ends of the seat plate 4 in the horizontal direction H, and the upper part of the side plate 3 forms a protruding portion 30 that protrudes in the front direction of the surface direction F, i.e., in the direction away from the side surface of the support 10. This protruding portion 30 is configured to engage the hook portion 60 of the hook bolt 6 as shown in Figure 4 , making it easy to perform the fastening work with the nut 7. As shown in Figure 3, the lower side of the protruding portion 30 forms an inclined edge 31 that inclines in the back direction of the surface direction F, and is configured to be bent downward at a bent portion 32 to form a straight edge 33. Therefore, this bent portion 32 forms the lower base of the protruding portion 30.
The seat plate 4 is formed with a hook hole 5 for passing a hook bolt 6 therethrough. The hook hole 5 is formed below the seat plate 4 and is located near the lower end of the protruding portion 30, and is configured so that an upper edge 50 of the hook hole 5 is located slightly below the bent portion 32 as shown in FIG.

1, the hook bolt 6 is bent at a bent portion 62 at the tip end by 90 degrees or more in the face direction F to the back direction to form a hook portion 60. Due to this bending, an inclined surface 61 is formed on the inner surface side of the hook portion 60, which is continuous with the bent portion 62.
The hook bolt 6 is configured to pass through the through hole 11 in the support 10 and the hook hole 5 in the plate piece 2 to engage the barbed wire 97, and then the nut 7 is attached to fix the barbed wire 97 in place.

Figures 4 and 5 show the configuration of the barbed wire 97 when fastened. The hook portion 60 of the hook bolt 6 protruding from the hook hole 5 to the front side in the face direction F is configured to engage the barbed wire 97, and by tightening the nut 7, the barbed wire 97 is fixed between the inclined surface 61 and the bent portion 62, and between the inclined edge 31 and the bent portion 32.

In the above configuration, the fixing device A can be attached at the same time by covering the upper end of the support 10 with the cap 1, and there is no need to hold the fixing part A during work as in the past. In addition, the washer does not rotate or shift during work as in the past. After that, the hook bolt 6 is inserted into the hook hole 5 and the through hole 11 of the support 10, the barbed wire 97 is engaged with the hook part 60, and the hook bolt 6 is fastened with the nut 7, so that the barbed wire 97 is pressed in the face direction F and the back direction by the inclined surface 61 and the bent part 62 and pressed against the seat plate 4 of the plate piece 2. Then, when the nut 7 is further turned, the hook part 60 abuts against the protruding part 30 to suppress rotation, and the work of tightening the nut 7 can be easily and reliably performed. When the nut 7 is further tightened, the barbed wire 97 is reliably fixed by the inclined surface 61, the bent part 62, the inclined edge 31, and the bent part 32 as shown in FIG. 4.
As a result, it is possible to improve the efficiency of the work and obtain stable fixation.

Another embodiment is shown in Fig. 6. In this embodiment, a square pillar is used as the support 10', and the cap 1' is also square in shape. The other configurations are the same.
FIG. 7 shows an embodiment in which a simple wire 96 is fixed in place of the barbed wire 97.
