Description

The present invention relates to a building flood prevention device that prevents water from entering through an exterior wall lower vent and a foundation drain ventilation hole on the first floor of a building, a building equipped with a building flood prevention device, and a building flood prevention method.

In recent years, measures to prevent flood damage to buildings have become even more necessary than before, but effective devices to prevent flooding from entering buildings through vents and ventilation holes installed near the first floor, where the amount of water entering the building is greatest, are not widely available.
Conventionally, measures proposed to prevent flooding of buildings have included piling sandbags around the building, erecting waterstops (see Patent Document 1), and surrounding the building with a waterproof sheet (see Patent Document 2 and Non-Patent Document 1).
In recent years, inventions and proposals have been made, such as a base drip rack equipped with a cover seal for the opening (see Patent Document 3).

「家の土台と基礎の間に通風口がぐるりとあるパッキン工法という家の場合、浸水の恐れが有る場合どのような対策を」(インターネット、YAHOO知恵袋、2019年10月31日質問及び回答日)"If a house is built using a packing method, which has ventilation holes all around between the foundation and the base, what measures should be taken if there is a risk of flooding?" (Internet, Yahoo! Answers, Question and Answer date: October 31, 2019) 「建築水理学・水害対策の知識」(桑村仁著、技報堂出版 2017年7月20日発行)"Knowledge of Architectural Hydraulics and Flood Disaster Prevention" (by Jin Kuwamura, Gihodo Publishing, published on July 20, 2017) 「内水ハザードマップ」(川崎市、2021年2月15日公表)"Inland Flood Hazard Map" (Kawasaki City, published February 15, 2021)

However, even if the water stops and water inundation prevention panel sheets of Patent Documents 1 and 2 are installed, if the water exceeds the height of the water stops, etc., the water level around the building rises, and exceeds the foundation drain ventilation holes and the lower exterior wall ventilation openings, it is not possible to prevent water inundation into the building.

Furthermore, in order to secure a tall waterproof sheet to the ground and surround the entire perimeter of a building with the sheet, the ground all around the building needs to be leveled (concrete laid, etc.), which poses the problem of making it difficult to secure the fixing components on areas of soil or uneven ground.

Furthermore, as described in Non-Patent Document 1, surrounding a building with a waterproof sheet is a difficult task for one person to do due to the size, weight, etc. of the waterproof sheet. It is considered to be extremely difficult to handle a large waterproof sheet, especially in a strong wind. Also, if the waterproof sheet is left fixed, it may cover the windows, causing inconvenience to daily life and is not desirable in terms of appearance.

In addition, although there are adhesive tapes for attaching waterproof sheets to buildings that can be used on uneven exterior walls or rough concrete foundations, the adhesive strength is thought to weaken due to the weight of the sheet, etc., and it is difficult to completely surround the entire perimeter of a building with a large sheet without leaving any gaps. Also, if there are any uneven areas on the adhesive surface, water will seep in through the gaps.

Even if a waterproof sheet can be secured tightly to the ground or building, large sheets cannot be expected to be effective in preventing flooding, as they can be blown away by strong winds (such as typhoons) after installation, carried away by floodwaters during flooding, or torn by direct hits from drifting debris.

Even if the waterproof sheet does not get blown away or washed away, if a large sheet is subjected to wind force or water currents, part of the part that is attached to the ground or building can be torn off, creating gaps in the attached parts.

Furthermore, large waterproof sheets are likely to be torn off from their fixed parts to the ground or building due to buoyancy when flooded. In particular, on uneven exterior walls or rough concrete foundations, even waterproof adhesive tape can peel off from its adhesive parts due to buoyancy and water pressure when flooded, making it difficult to fix the waterproof sheet with adhesive tape alone and maintain its adhesion.

In addition, while waterproof sheets such as those in Patent Document 2 may adhere closely to buildings under water pressure, there is a concern that the sheet may be washed away if it is hit directly by floodwaters or if the water current is fast.

As mentioned above, if part of the waterproof sheet is torn off and a gap appears between it and the ground or building, it could lead to flooding of the building.

Furthermore, in the case of existing buildings, specialized construction is required to replace the existing foundation gutters with the foundation gutters with the opening cover seals of Patent Document 3, and this construction takes a considerable amount of time (days) and costs money. In addition to this technology, devices that can be installed under floors to prevent water intrusion have been invented, but they are likely difficult to install because specialized replacement construction is required.

In addition, automatic water-blocking devices that prevent water from entering by drawing water into the base drain or under the floor may not function properly if fine floating particles get inside the device when water enters.

In addition, in typical conventional construction methods used by construction companies, etc., measures to prevent water from entering through ventilation openings and the like near the first floor can be taken by raising the foundations (at a cost of several hundred thousand yen or more), but the current situation is that other water entry prevention measures (technical means) are hardly ever taken.

As a result, even for existing buildings in areas expected to be flooded that have not yet taken any flood prevention measures, it appears that people are hesitant to take traditional flood prevention measures due to the cost, number of construction days, as well as the technology and effectiveness of these measures, and as a result, little progress has been made in focusing on flood prevention measures that focus on ventilation openings, etc. near the first floor, despite the importance of these measures.

A document that supports this current situation is the textbook "Architectural Hydraulics" from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo (Non-Patent Document 2).
This document raises the issue of the importance of measures to prevent water ingress from water ingress near the first floor, stating, "Recent experiments on flooding in houses have shown that exterior wall materials and their joints, and the areas around door and sash windows are becoming more and more airtight and highly insulated, which has led to increased waterproofing. Therefore, flood prevention measures for houses focus on balancing living room ventilation and underfloor ventilation (page 34).", "The closer a water ingress is to the ground and the larger the opening area, the more likely it is that it will lead to indoor flooding (page 208).", and "When calculating the water ingress from underfloor ventilation holes in a wooden building with a first-floor floor area of 34.8 square meters and which has the legally required underfloor ventilation holes, it would take just over one minute for the water to reach the critical water level (1.0 meter above the floor). There may be a little more time due to factors such as the resistance of the water ingress path (page 213)."

The document also states that "Buildings as a whole are resistant to rain. However, they are not designed to be water-resistant against flooding, and water can easily enter below or above the floor level (page 207)," pointing out the difficulty of taking measures against flooding and the current situation in which effective measures (technical means) to prevent flooding have not yet been established.

Furthermore, in the latest "inland flood hazard map," the local government has published the following information: "When the inundation depth is shallow, you can take measures against flooding by using items found in the home, such as sandbags" (see Non-Patent Document 3). Measures against flood damage from storm surges through ventilation openings, etc. in coastal areas are also necessary.

The present invention has been made in consideration of the problems associated with preventing water ingress through ventilation openings, etc. installed near the first floor area of buildings as described above, and aims to prevent water ingress through such ventilation openings, etc.

In order to solve the above problems and achieve the above objectives, the building flood prevention device of the present invention is characterized by comprising a removable waterproof member, etc., which is molded so as to completely block the exterior wall lower ventilation opening near the first floor and the foundation drain ventilation hole.

The present invention will be outlined below.
This building flood prevention device is designed to be resistant to the effects of wind, water currents, and mud, and since it is expected that some areas will be flooded for several days, it is designed to be fixed in place and remain in close contact with the force of buoyancy during prolonged flooding (enhanced degree of fixation).
In addition, the entire water ingress prevention device was made relatively inexpensive (low cost), and the work of pre-fixing the base material (fixing functional part), which is effective in fixing the waterproofing material made of waterproof sheet to the exterior wall, etc., could be carried out with do-it-yourself level techniques and tools (simplified installation and low cost).
Furthermore, the waterproofing materials, etc. are made small and lightweight, so that they can be stored easily during normal times, and can be fixed to the building by one person when flooding is predicted (simplification of storage and fixing), and the waterproofing materials, etc. can also be removed by one person.
In addition, by standardizing the standards for exterior wall materials, foundation drainage materials and waterproofing components as building flood prevention devices, it will be possible to reduce production costs and promote the spread of flood prevention measures.

Furthermore, the waterproofing components do not interfere with daily life even if they are left in place, and in the event of a typhoon or other disaster, neighborhood associations, local governments, etc. will cooperate to prepare for disaster prevention measures at an early stage, making this a method of preventing flooding of buildings that can be used as one of the disaster prevention measures in the area.

As described above, the present invention has been made with a view to providing a detachable, practical, highly effective, and cost-effective building flood prevention device that focuses on covering and sealing vents and ventilation holes near the first floor floor with a waterproof material, preventing water from entering a building through vents, etc., and maintaining that state, something that has not previously been proposed by those skilled in the art (in the fields of architecture, disaster prevention, and government).

The present invention will be described in detail starting from claim 1.
The invention described in claim 1 provides a building flood prevention device for a building that has an exterior wall lower vent and foundation drain ventilation hole installed on the first floor of the building, which provides a "waterproof member" that is molded so as to be able to block all of the vents and ventilation holes when flooding is predicted, etc., by manually fixing the waterproof member into a predetermined position to block the vents, etc., thereby preventing water from entering the building.

At present, there have been no proposals for water inundation prevention devices as described above for use in existing buildings.
Even if one were to personally imagine a method of preventing water ingress as described above, in existing buildings there are no standardized standards for the size, etc. of the lower exterior wall ventilation openings and foundation drains, and the installation conditions and relative positions of the foundation drains vary widely, making it extremely difficult for an individual to prepare waterproof materials, etc. by processing waterproof sheets, metal components, etc. and use them as a water ingress prevention device.

In light of these problems, the present invention makes it possible to apply a building flood prevention device consisting of a waterproof member that blocks ventilation openings, etc. when fixed as needed to existing buildings.
The waterproof member, which is the core of the invention described in claim 1, provides a water-resistant and durable molded product made of metal, resin, etc., or a waterproof sheet. The fixing method is by utilizing elastic restoring force, screwing, or other conventional fixing techniques.

The invention described in claim 2 provides a water inundation prevention device for buildings that uses exterior wall materials and foundation drainage materials equipped with a "fixing functional part" for fixing waterproofing materials more easily and firmly, which is even more effective than the invention described in claim 1, and that enables waterproofing materials to be fixed quickly, reliably and firmly when flooding is predicted, etc.

The invention described in claim 1 is primarily intended to provide a water-ingress prevention device for existing buildings (however, there is no problem with installing it when building new buildings, expanding, etc.), but this invention provides for the unification of the standards and fixing functions of waterproofing materials, exterior wall materials, and foundation drainage materials, thereby promoting the spread of building water-ingress prevention devices when building new buildings, expanding, or renovating, and for making it easier and more reliable to fix waterproofing materials.

The fixing function portion refers to a portion having a fixing function for fixing the waterproof member.
Examples of fixing functional parts include nuts for fastening bolts that are fixed to the inside of exterior wall materials or foundation flashing materials, waterproofing members having mounting feet and holes or recesses etc. for receiving the feet provided in the exterior wall materials or foundation flashing materials, and screw pilot holes for screwing the waterproofing members provided in the exterior wall materials or foundation flashing materials.
In other words, the fixing function part is a part that is provided on exterior wall materials, etc., with unified standards and fixing functions in order to facilitate fixing of the waterproofing material and to strengthen the degree of fixation when the waterproofing material is fixed to cover the exterior wall lower ventilation opening and the foundation drain ventilation hole.
The fixing function portion is not limited to the fixing method such as the screw fastening, but relates to the general functions required by conventional fixing techniques.

In the invention described in claim 1, if the waterproofing member is directly screwed to an exterior wall, etc., screw marks will remain on the exterior wall, etc. when the waterproofing member is removed. However, if the fixing function part described in claim 2 is provided, screw marks will not remain on the exterior wall, etc. even after the waterproofing member is removed.

The invention of claim 3 provides, in carrying out the inventions of claims 1 and 2, further improving the degree of fixation and adhesion of the waterproofing member by attaching a "pressure fixing material" for pressing the waterproofing member toward the fixing location when fixing the waterproofing member to an exterior wall or the like.

In the invention of claim 1 or claim 2, the waterproofing member is firmly fixed, so it can maintain a sufficient fixation even when flooded by water that is nearly stationary. However, in the case of a state in which water collides with the building, such as a fast water flow or flood flow, or when the water depth increases or the flooding time lasts for a long time, and the resistance of the water flow, buoyancy, etc. to the waterproofing member becomes strong, or in order to prevent the waterproofing member from being damaged by strong winds such as a typhoon, and to prevent it from falling off from the fixing part, a pressing fixing material is provided that presses the waterproofing member.

The pressure fixing material may be used for the entire portion where the waterproofing member is fixed, or may be used only for portions that may be exposed to strong winds or floodwaters.

The invention of claim 4 provides a building equipped with the invention of any one of claims 1 to 3.

In addition, in comprehensive flood prevention measures for buildings, it is important to prevent the building flood prevention device from being hit directly by floating debris, etc., and to prevent the device from being damaged or washed away. For this reason, it is desirable for the building to have hooks, etc., for attaching protective material that covers the building flood prevention device with a net or the like to the exterior wall, etc.

Furthermore, when building a new structure, if the exterior wall portion to which the waterproofing material is fixed is made smooth and even, no gaps will form in the fixing portion even if a base material for fixing is not used. Furthermore, if a fixing functional part is used to fix the waterproofing material to the exterior wall material and foundation drainage material, then a building flood prevention device does not need to be installed at the time of building, but can be installed 5, 10 years from now.

The invention of claim 5 provides a method for preventing water inundation of a building, using the building water inundation prevention device according to any one of claims 1 to 3.

To ensure the effectiveness of methods for preventing flooding of buildings, it is necessary to prevent damage or loss of flood prevention devices due to floodwaters or drifting debris.
Therefore, in order to prevent a building from being directly hit by floodwaters, it is advisable to surround the entire building site with a block wall or other structure that does not allow water to pass through, and to use gates that do not allow water to pass through.

Furthermore, waterproofing components for the building flood prevention device can be stored in a storage locker outside the building along with adhesive tape, tools, etc., and a sign indicating that they are being stored outside can be displayed so that neighbors can secure the waterproofing components, etc., even if no one is home when flooding is predicted.
Furthermore, in the case of elderly households living in areas where flooding is expected to occur, if building flood prevention devices are widespread on a local level, the methods of fixing waterproofing parts will be standardized, so that waterproofing parts will be able to be fixed with the support of local residents and local governments, etc., and safety and security will be ensured in preparation for heavy rain floods, high tides, typhoons, etc.
In this way, the present invention is a method for preventing flooding of buildings that can be implemented throughout an entire region in the future as one of the disaster prevention measures and methods.

In implementing all the claimed inventions, in order to firmly fix the waterproofing members to the exterior walls and foundation drainage, it is important to ensure the strength of the exterior wall materials and foundation drainage materials in terms of their materials, structure, etc.
Specifically, for exterior wall materials, it is important to reinforce the fixed parts of waterproofing members with metal or the like, and for foundation drip-proofing materials, if they are made of steel plate, to make the steel plate thicker, or to use metal such as aluminum or resin to ensure strength.

If a waterproofing member is partially damaged, etc., it is assumed that this may lead to partial flooding, and in order to deal with this, it is desirable to insert water-absorbent materials or water-swelling materials into ventilation holes, etc., especially in waterproofing members made of waterproof sheets.

As described above, the inventions of claims 1 to 3 make it possible to avoid direct hits of "mud flow" with great destructive power as much as possible by fixing the lower end of the waterproofing member at the position of the foundation drainage, rather than fixing it to the ground. In addition, by combining waterproofing members with a variety of materials and shapes with fixing function parts (nuts, base material, etc.), pressing fixing materials, and adhesive tape, it is possible to increase the degree of fixation against water flow, mud flow, and buoyancy, suppress the peeling action of the waterproofing member, and also make it possible to maintain the fixing durability of the waterproofing member even when it is submerged in water for a long time.

The present invention has discovered that in resolving the balance between "ensuring ventilation under normal circumstances" and "preventing flooding," which is the root of the issue of preventing flooding from vents etc. near the first floor where the amount of water entering a building is greatest, it is essential to prepare a building flood prevention device that is relatively inexpensive, easy to install, easy to install when flooding is predicted, does not mar the appearance of the building even when left fixed, does not interfere with daily life, is easy to attach and remove, and when fixed, can completely and to a limited extent block ventilation openings etc. near the first floor of a building, and that this can be firmly fixed in a short amount of time using the most reliable manual method, and that further makes effective use of water-resistant adhesive tape to increase the fixing strength and water density, minimize the effects of "wind," "water," "mud," and "buoyancy," and maintain adhesion to the building even for long periods of time until the flooding is resolved.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described. However, the embodiments described below and the technical scope of the present invention are not limited to the following embodiments and drawings.
First, regarding the invention described in claim 1, what is common to the first to fifth embodiments will be described.

The waterproofing material 5 for sealing the lower exterior wall ventilation opening 3 and the base drain ventilation hole 4 should preferably have a smooth surface on both the inside and outside to which adhesive tape can be attached.

The shape (vertical height and horizontal width) of the waterproof member 5 is formed to a size necessary for completely blocking the ventilation openings, etc., and for fixing the same in the blocked state by a fixing method such as screwing.
Regarding the height, when the screws are used for fastening, the height required as a material varies depending on the installation state of the vents of the building to which the present invention is applied, and also varies depending on the state of the exterior wall 1 to which the fastening is to be performed, for example, the fixing position must be higher than the lower part of the exterior wall 1, and the height required as a material cannot be generally limited. However, in a typical installation state of the base underside 2, when the upper end of the waterproofing member 5 is fixed about 10 centimeters above the lowermost part of the exterior wall 1 and the lower end is fixed to the edge of the building of the bottom wall part of the base underside 2, a height of about 30 centimeters (height as a material) is required. Note that this height is merely a guideline, and as described above, a higher height than this may be required depending on the fixing method and fixing position of each building, and in the case of the waterproofing member 5 which covers only the base underside ventilation hole 4, the height as a material may be about 10 centimeters.

The total width is calculated by subtracting the length of the area where no ventilation openings, such as near the entrance, are installed from the perimeter of the building, and adding the overlapping area of adjacent waterproof sheets in the case of waterproof member 5 made of waterproof sheet. As for the length for storage in normal times, if it is a molded product made of metal, resin, etc., a length of about 1.8 meters to 2 meters may be used, taking into consideration ease of storage and ease of handling when fixed, but any length longer than this may be used. If it is a waterproof member 5 made of waterproof sheet, it may be stored rolled or folded in normal times, and may be any length that is easy to handle when fixed, within the range of lengths that can be manufactured, etc.

If the waterproofing material 5 is made of elastic metal, resin, etc., then in order to increase adhesion using its elastic restoring force, it can be slightly curved evenly on both sides around the middle of the width (0.9 meters for a 1.8 meter length) and, depending on the direction of the curve, fixed with screws or the like at one point in the center or at one point each on both the left and right ends, thereby allowing the entire waterproofing material to adhere strongly to the exterior wall 1 and foundation gutters 2.

The thickness should be at least the thickness of one waterproof sheet, and if two or more sheets are used, the thickness should be the number of sheets stacked together. If the material is metal or plastic, the thickness should be about the thickness of one steel plate to a few millimeters, but it may be thicker depending on the strength of the material. Also, in areas where deep flooding is expected or where the vents on the lower part of the exterior wall of a building are large, high water pressure will be applied when flooded, so a thickness of more than this will be required depending on the structure, size, etc. of the vents and ventilation holes.

In principle, since ventilation and air circulation must be ensured in buildings during normal times, the waterproofing members 5 are fixed in place when flooding is predicted. However, they can also be used for the purpose of storing heat in cold seasons, as a measure to prevent salt damage, and to prevent high tides, and any of these effects can be obtained.

The joining of the lateral ends of the waterproofing member 5 is carried out by tightly contacting and fixing the ends when it is made of metal, resin, etc. When it is made of a waterproof sheet, it is preferable to overlap adjacent parts and attach them on the inside and outside with adhesive tape, and fix the upper and lower ends to the exterior wall 1, etc. with screws, etc.
If any lateral ends are not joined by the waterproofing material 5, they should be fixed to the exterior wall 1, foundation gutter 2, etc. by screws or the like.

In the case of a waterproof sheet, flat metal or resin members or wires are attached to or embedded in the upper and lower ends, or the upper and lower ends are overlapped by two or more layers to ensure hardness and strength, and the sheet is fixed tightly to the exterior wall 1, etc., and molded to ensure water density.

The packing may be used at the upper and lower ends of the waterproof member 5, or may be fixed to the waterproof member 5 in advance.

Next, a main example (embodiment) of the invention described in claim 1 will be described.
First, a first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the schematic cross-sectional view of FIG.
This shows a building having only a foundation drainage ventilation hole 4, a waterproofing member 5 (including the use of a waterproofing member fixing part 6) and a fixing method thereof, etc.
This ventilation hole 4 is a type that is connected to the inner ventilation layer of the exterior wall, the underfloor ventilation layer above the foundation, etc.
In this case, the waterproof member 5 may be a molded product of metal, resin, or the like, or a waterproof sheet.

When the waterproofing member 5 is a molded product made of metal, resin, etc., it has an approximately L-shaped cross-section as shown in the figure, and is molded to roughly conform to part of the outer shape of the base drain 2 (vertical wall portion, bottom wall portion), and is then tightly attached to the base drain 2 and fixed to it with screws or the like.
In the case of a waterproof sheet, it is attached to the vertical wall and bottom wall of the base drain 2 and is attached to the waterproof member 5 using a waterproof member fixing part 6 which is a molded product having the above-mentioned approximately L-shaped cross section with a shortened width, or a waterproof member fixing part 6 having the shape shown in Figures 7 and 8, and then fixed from above with screws or the like as described above.

There is no upper limit to the width of the waterproofing member fixing parts 6, so long as the length is sufficient to maintain strength when fixed with screws or bolts, it may be, for example, about 1 meter or longer. In particular, in areas where fast water currents hit, using a length of about 1 meter or longer can prevent damage or washing away of the waterproof sheet due to direct impact of drifting objects.
The one shown in Fig. 7 is a slightly larger version of the base drip tray 2, and is mainly fixed by screws, etc., so it can be made of steel plate, aluminum, resin, etc. The one shown in Fig. 8 is an example of a shape that can be fixed using elastic restoring force.
Furthermore, the waterproofing member fixing part 6 does not have to have the width as described above, and any clip-shaped part having a cross-sectional shape as shown in Figures 7 and 8 and a thickness similar to that of a wire and having a fixing function can be used, and such a part may be used.

In this example, the part that prevents water from entering the sill drain ventilation hole 4 at the upper part of the waterproofing member 5 is the part where the inside of the waterproofing member 5 and the vertical wall part of the sill drain 2 are in contact with each other. Similarly, the part where the lower end of the waterproofing member 5 and the bottom wall part of the sill drain 2 are in contact with each other at the lower part of the waterproofing member 5. However, the vertical wall part of the sill drain 2 is generally extended several millimeters downward from the bottom wall part to prevent rain from entering the inside of the sill drain 2 through the ventilation hole. Therefore, by extending the lower end (the end part on the building side) of the waterproofing member 5 and the waterproofing member fixing part 6 upward by more than the length that the vertical wall part of the sill drain 2 extends downward, the lower end can be brought into close contact with the bottom wall part of the sill drain 2, preventing water from entering from this part and preventing water from entering from the sill drain ventilation hole 4. In addition, a packing, a water-absorbent material, or a water-expanding material may be inserted between the inside of the waterproofing member 5 and the bottom wall part of the sill drain 2 at the time of fixing. Also, a packing or the like may be fixed to this portion of the waterproof member 5 in advance.

In this example, the waterproofing member 5 can be made of a material with low elastic restoring force as long as it can be matched to the shape of the base dripboard 2. If steel plate, aluminum, plastic, etc. are used, less material is required and the material can be manufactured relatively inexpensively.

The waterproofing member 5 and the waterproofing member fixing parts 6 can be fixed by a conventional fixing technique other than the screw fastening as shown in FIG.

Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the schematic cross-sectional view of FIG.
This relates to a waterproofing member 5 (including the use of waterproofing member fixing parts 6) and a fixing method thereof for a building having only an exterior wall lower ventilation opening 3.
This ventilation opening is the type that connects to various parts of the building, such as the inner ventilation layer of the exterior wall, and the underfloor ventilation hole is installed in the middle of the foundation.

In this case, the waterproof member 5 may be a molded product of metal, resin, or the like, or a waterproof sheet.
In the case of molded products made of metal, resin, etc., they are molded to have an approximately L-shaped cross section as shown in the figure. In the figure, the upper end is fixed to the exterior wall 1, and the part between the bent part and the lower end is fixed to the upper wall part of the base skirting 2, and is screwed to the exterior wall 1 and the base skirting 2 in two places, but it is fixed with screws or the like in at least one place.
In the case of a waterproof member 5 made of a waterproof sheet, it is adhered to the exterior wall 1 and the base drip edge 2, and then a waterproof member fixing part 6, which is a molded product having the above-mentioned cross section but with a shortened width, is fixed to at least one point of the exterior wall 1 and the base drip edge 2 by screwing or the like.

When fixing in this embodiment 2, the part that prevents water from entering the exterior wall lower ventilation opening 3 is the part where the inside of the waterproofing member 5 and the exterior wall 1 contact at the upper part of the waterproofing member 5. Similarly, the part where the inside of the waterproofing member 5 and the upper wall part of the base drip 2 contact at the lower part. However, the upper wall part of the base drip 2 is generally inclined downward toward the outdoor side so that rain, etc., flows down to the outdoor side. Therefore, by making the bending part in the middle of the waterproofing member 5 and the waterproofing member fixing part 6 larger than 90 degrees, it is possible to secure a large area of the part where the upper and lower ends of the waterproofing member 5 contact the exterior wall 1 and the base drip 2. However, since the upper wall part of the base drip 2 may be almost horizontal, in that case, the bending part of the waterproofing member 5 is made to be almost 90 degrees. In this way, water can be prevented from entering the exterior wall lower ventilation opening 3. When fixing the waterproofing member 5, a gasket may be inserted between the waterproofing member 5 and the upper wall portion of the exterior wall 1 and the foundation drip edge 2 to increase adhesion, or the gasket may be fixed to the waterproofing member 5 and the waterproofing member fixing parts 6 in advance.

The waterproofing member 5 and waterproofing member fixing parts 6 described above, which only cover the ventilation openings 3 in the lower part of the exterior wall, are small and require less material, as in the case of the first embodiment. In addition, if they have elastic restoring force, a high degree of adhesion can be ensured at the upper and lower ends when fixed. On the other hand, if the shape (bending angle, etc.) of the waterproofing member 5 and waterproofing member fixing parts 6 is made to almost match the inclination angle, etc. of the upper wall part of the foundation dripboard 2, the degree of adhesion can be ensured even if the elastic restoring force is small, and therefore they can be manufactured relatively inexpensively using steel plates, aluminum, plastics, etc.

The shape (bending angle, etc.) of the waterproofing member 5 in this figure is one example, and it may be approximately 90 degrees as described above, or the angle may be larger than that. Also, the fixing method may be a conventional fixing technique other than the screw fastening shown in the figure.

Next, a third embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the schematic cross-sectional view of FIG.
This relates to a waterproofing member 5 (including the use of waterproofing member fixing parts 6) and a fixing method thereof for a building in which both an exterior wall lower ventilation opening 3 and a foundation drainage ventilation hole 4 are installed.

In this case, the waterproof member 5 may be a molded product of metal, resin, or the like, or a waterproof sheet.
In the case of a molded product made of metal, resin, etc., it is molded to have a cross section as shown in the figure, and then fitted tightly to the exterior wall 1 and foundation drip edge 2 and fixed with screws or the like.
In the case of a waterproof member 5 made of a waterproof sheet, it is attached to the exterior wall 1 and the base drip 2, and the waterproof member fixing part 6, which is the above-mentioned molded product with a shortened width, is fixed to at least one point of the exterior wall 1 and the base drip 2 by screws or the like. (In Fig. 3, it is fixed to two points.)
In the figure, the top edge of the waterproofing material 5 extends upward from above the middle of the base drain 2, but if the length of the protruding part of the base drain 2 from the outer wall is short, it may be extended upward from above near the intersection of the vertical wall and upper wall of the base drain 2 so as to be in close contact with the outer wall 1.

In this example, the part that prevents water from entering the outer wall lower ventilation opening 3 and the base drain ventilation hole 4 is the part where the inside of the waterproofing member 5 and the outer wall 1 are in contact at the upper part of the waterproofing member 5. Similarly, the part where the lower end of the waterproofing member 5 and the bottom wall part of the base drain 2 are in contact at the lower part. Details regarding the prevention of water from entering these parts are as described in the above-mentioned Examples 1 and 2. The bending angle of the waterproofing member 5 must be matched to the inclination angle of the upper wall part of the base drain 2, and since the vertical wall part extends downward from the bottom wall part, it is necessary to extend the lower end of the waterproofing member 5 upward as much as the vertical wall part extends, thereby increasing the degree of adhesion of the fixing part of the waterproofing member 5 to the outer wall 1 and the base drain 2. However, in the figure, the lower end of the waterproofing member 5 is not extended upward as described above, but is extended downward further in line with the vertical wall part of the base drain 2 that extends downward, thereby making the lower end of the waterproofing member 2 adhere to the bottom wall part of the base drain 2. When the waterproof member 5 having the shape shown in this figure is screwed in, the elastic restoring force of the material may be small.

For existing buildings manufactured by house manufacturers or buildings using manufacturer-made foundation drains, it is possible to mass-produce waterproofing members 5 and waterproofing member fixing parts 6 that are tailored to the specifications of the foundation drains. However, apart from these, the standards of the foundation drains 2 used in existing buildings and the degree of protrusion from the exterior wall 1 vary, so several types of waterproofing members 5 (including waterproofing member fixing parts 6) are prepared by combining waterproofing members with different lengths of each side, bending angles, etc., and the one that best suits each building is used.

This Example 3 can be implemented by combining Example 1 and Example 2, and using two types (Examples 1 and 2) of waterproof members 5 made of molded products such as metal and resin. In the case of a waterproof member 5 made of a waterproof sheet, a waterproof member 5 made of a waterproof sheet having a size for implementing Example 3 is prepared, and two types of waterproof member fixing parts 6, those of Examples 1 and 2, may be used.

Next, a fourth embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the schematic cross-sectional view of FIG.
This relates to the waterproofing member 5 (including the use of the waterproofing member fixing parts 6) and the fixing method thereof for a building in which only a foundation drainage ventilation hole 4 is installed.

In this case, the waterproof member 5 may be a molded product of metal, resin, or the like, or a waterproof sheet.
In the case of a molded product made of metal, resin, etc., a molded product having an approximately U-shaped cross-section as shown in the figure is used to cover the base drain 2, blocking the base drain ventilation holes 4 and fixing it in place by the elastic restoring force of the waterproofing member 5.
In the case of a waterproof member 5 made of a waterproof sheet, it is attached tightly from the upper wall portion to the bottom wall portion of the base dripboard 2, and then clamped with a clip-shaped waterproof member fixing part 6 which has a shortened width length of the above-mentioned molded product, and fixed by the elastic restoring force of the waterproof member fixing part 6.
As mentioned above, the clip-shaped member may have a thickness (width) similar to that of wire.

When fixing in this example, what prevents water from entering the base underside ventilation hole 4 is the portion of the upper part of the waterproofing member 5 where the upper end of the waterproofing member 5 contacts the upper wall of the base underside 2. Similarly, at the lower part, the lower end of the waterproofing member 5 contacts the bottom wall of the base underside 2, and the technology for ensuring the water density in this portion is as explained in the above-mentioned Examples 1 to 3.
To ensure the water density at the top of the waterproofing member 5, if the upper bending angle of the waterproofing member 5 and the waterproofing member fixing parts 6 is set to 90 degrees or less, the degree of adhesion can be increased by the elastic restoring force when the base drain 2 is sandwiched between them, and at the same time, the degree of adhesion at the bottom end can be increased. The angle of this bending part depends on the size of the base drain 2, the inclination angle of the upper wall, etc., so the shape (angle) shown in the figure is merely one example.
To fix the waterproof member 5 and the waterproof member fixing part 6 using only their elastic restoring forces, it is necessary to ensure that the metal and resin have a large elastic force, for example by ensuring a certain thickness.
Although not shown, the waterproofing member 5 can be fixed to the vertical wall portion of the base gutters 2 by means of screws or the like to ensure and maintain the fixing strength.

The waterproofing member 5 of this example requires about 1.5 times the material of that of Example 1, but it is securely fixed simply by fitting it into the base gutters, and if no screws are used, it has the advantage that no screw marks are left after removal.

The fixing function part 7 of the invention of claim 2 will be described later, but in this embodiment, if shallow grooves (fixing function parts) into which the upper and lower ends of the waterproofing member 5 fit are provided in the parts of the upper and bottom wall parts of the base drain 2 that come into close contact with the waterproofing member 5, the waterproofing member 5 will be firmly fixed.

Next, a fifth embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the schematic cross-sectional view of FIG. 5 and the perspective view of FIG.
This relates to a waterproofing member 5 (including the use of waterproofing member fixing parts 6) and a fixing method thereof for a building having both an exterior wall lower ventilation opening 3 and a foundation drainage ventilation hole 4.
In this case, the waterproof member 5 may be a molded product of metal, resin, or the like, or a waterproof sheet.
In the case of a molded product made of metal, resin, etc., it has the cross section shown in Figures 5 and 6, and is a molded product as shown in Figure 6, with the upper end portion attached to the exterior wall 1 and the lower end portion etc. attached to the base flashing 2. In Figure 5, the waterproofing member 5 is bolted to the exterior wall 1, but it can be fixed in place using the elastic restoring force of the waterproofing member 5.

In this example, as described above, if a shallow groove (fixing function part) is provided in the base dripboard and the lower end part of the waterproofing member 5 or other part that comes into close contact with the groove is fitted into the groove, the degree of fixation can be strengthened.

In the case of a waterproof member 5 made of a waterproof sheet, it is attached from the lower part of the exterior wall 1 to the bottom wall part of the base drip 2, and fixed by the waterproof member fixing part 6, which has a shortened width of the above-mentioned molded product, using its elastic restoring force. (In this case, too, the provision of a shallow groove (fixing function part) in the base drip is as described above.)
However, if the waterproofing member 5 is a molded product made of metal, resin, or the like, or if the waterproofing member fixing part 6 has low elasticity, it is fixed with screws, etc. Fixing can be done with bolts as shown in the figure, or with other conventional fixing techniques.

In this example, when fixed, what prevents water from entering the exterior wall lower ventilation opening 3 and the base underside ventilation hole 4 is the portion at the top of the waterproofing member 5 where the inside of the waterproofing member 5 contacts the exterior wall 1. Similarly, at the bottom, it is the portion where the lower end of the waterproofing member 5 contacts the bottom wall of the base underside 2. Prevention of water from entering the top and bottom is as explained in the above-mentioned Examples 1 to 4.

The shape etc. of the waterproofing member 5 in this embodiment is complex, and for existing buildings constructed by construction companies etc., it is necessary to select a suitable one from several combinations of sizes, angles etc., but as for the waterproofing member 5 to be applied to buildings manufactured by house manufacturers or existing buildings using manufacturer-manufactured foundation gutters, as described above (0073), mass production is possible.

This waterproofing member 5 can be fixed using the elastic restoring force of the waterproofing member 5 and the waterproofing member fixing parts 6, as in the case of Example 4, and therefore it is considered that the fixation can be maintained without the need for screw fastening in cases where the building site is surrounded by a block wall or the like and fast water currents do not approach the building, so that it is expected that still water will gradually rise and cause flooding, etc. The fixing method is simple, just by fitting it in, and has the advantage that no screw marks are left unless screw fastening is used.

6 shows a waterproofing member 5 made of a molded product of metal, resin, etc. As described above, the lower end portion extends upward by a length greater than the length by which the vertical wall portion of the base dripboard 2 extends downward from the bottom wall portion.
In FIG. 5, there are portions indicated by 7a and 7b on the exterior wall 1 and the base drip edge 2, which are fixing functional portions according to the invention described in claim 2, and will be described in detail later.
The lower end of the waterproofing member 5 in Fig. 5 does not extend upward as described above (Fig. 6). This is because, like in the above-mentioned Example 3, the vertical portion of the waterproofing member 5 extends downward in line with the vertical wall portion of the base drain 2, and extends further downward than that, thereby making the lower end of the waterproofing member 5 adhere closely to the bottom wall portion of the base drain 2.
In this case, too, the lower end may be extended upward as shown in Figure 6, and the bending position, bending angle, and shapes and angles of the upper and lower ends of the waterproofing member 5 are configured in the entire invention with a priority given to achieving the closest adhesion to the exterior wall 1 and foundation gutters 2.

Five embodiments of the invention according to claim 1 have been described above, but the following will explain what is common to all of them and embodiments other than those described above.
Waterproofing members 5 made of metal, resin, etc. can be custom-made to suit the building to which they are fixed. In that case, they will be more expensive than waterproof sheets, but they are highly durable and less likely to be damaged even if hit directly by drifting debris, and their elastic restoring force allows the upper and lower ends to adhere strongly to the exterior wall 1, etc., thereby providing a high level of water-proofing effect.

The waterproofing member 5 of the present invention is designed to be fixed as close as possible to the upper and lower ventilation openings while completely blocking the ventilation openings and ventilation holes, and to be in close contact with the exterior wall 1 and the foundation drip 2, thereby making it possible to miniaturize the waterproofing member 5 (small area = less material). Therefore, its advantages include that it does not get in the way even when left fixed, does not interfere with daily life, and does not spoil the scenery, so it can be fixed to a building for a limited period of time for the purpose of heat storage heating, and can be installed to prevent salt damage caused by high tides and sea breezes.
Moreover, when a typhoon occurs, the waterproofing member 5 can be fixed in stages, starting from the difficult-to-fix parts such as around the outdoor unit of the air conditioner, and typhoon countermeasures can be taken early. By taking advantage of the small size and easy fixation, the waterproofing member can be fixed on a daily basis to raise disaster prevention awareness, and the waterproofing member can be fixed efficiently when flooding is predicted. Furthermore, the waterproofing sheet can be inspected for defects such as deterioration over time.

As described above, the invention described in claim 1 is an embodiment in which, even for an existing building, the waterproofing member 5 and waterproofing member fixing parts 6 suitable for the building are selected from among optimum materials and shapes in accordance with the conditions of the air vents, ventilation holes, and their surroundings, and are fixed in the optimum manner, thereby preventing water from entering the building through the air vents and ventilation holes.

Next, the invention described in claim 2 will be explained. In addition to the water ingress prevention action and effect of the invention described in claim 1, this invention provides a fixing function part that makes it easier to fix the waterproof member and enables the waterproof member to be fixed more firmly when it is fixed.
The second aspect of the present invention will be described with reference to the schematic cross-sectional view of FIG.

This invention relates to a water ingress prevention device for a building, which comprises an exterior wall 1 and a foundation flashing 2, and which uses an exterior wall material and a foundation flashing material each having a fixing function portion 7 for fixing a waterproofing member 5.
At present, it is believed that no exterior wall materials or foundation waterproofing materials are manufactured that are provided with fixing functional parts 7 for fixing waterproofing members 5 and waterproofing member fixing parts 6.

As described above, the invention described in claim 1 is primarily intended to provide a building water inundation prevention device to existing buildings, and as explained in each example (embodiment), the shape, size, etc. of the waterproofing member 5 will vary depending on the building.
For this reason, it is necessary to manufacture waterproofing members 5 in several different shapes and sizes to suit each application, and then select from these the one that is most suitable (one that has the right shape, is highly effective in preventing water ingress, and can maintain its fixation).
This is inconvenient, and it may be difficult to find suitable products for buildings with special designs.
In order to resolve these issues and make it standard practice to install water ingress prevention devices in future newly constructed buildings, the issues can be resolved by using exterior wall materials and foundation water drainage materials that have a fixing functional part 7 for securely and easily fixing the waterproofing member 5.
In order to solve the above problems and achieve the object, a fixing function part 7 is provided on exterior wall materials and foundation dripping materials.

The fixed function unit will now be described.
The fixing function part 7 is a function part provided on the exterior wall 1 and the foundation drip edge 2 in order to fix the waterproofing member 5 .
For example, as shown in FIG. 9, in order to bolt the waterproofing member 5 to the base underside 2, a nut fixed to the inside of the base underside 2 serves as the fixing function portion 7a.
So far, there has been no evidence that nuts have been attached to foundation gutters (inside, etc.) or exterior wall materials (inside, back, etc.) to secure waterproofing components.
The waterproofing member 5 and the base dripping 2 that come as a set allow the waterproofing member 5 to be easily and firmly fixed by bolts. In normal times, the bolt holes can be closed with caps made of resin or the like.

Other examples of the fixing function part 7 include an exterior wall material provided with a groove-like part 7b into which the end of the waterproofing member 5 is fitted (see FIG. 5), an exterior wall material to which a base material 7c for fixing the waterproofing member 5 is fixed (see FIG. 9), etc. In addition, there are also examples where shallow rounded recesses are provided in the upper wall part and vertical wall part of the base dripboard 2, and the waterproofing member 5 is fixed by fitting shallow rounded protrusions into the inside of the recesses.
The above-mentioned nuts 7a, grooved parts 7b, underlayment 7c, etc. can be provided on both exterior wall materials and foundation flashing materials. The position of the fixing function parts 7, such as the grooved parts 7b into which the waterproofing member ends are fitted, is not limited to the example shown in the figure (the shallow grooves in the parts of the foundation flashing 2 that come into close contact with the waterproofing member 5 are as explained in the explanation of claim 1). In other words, it is preferable to insert the upper and lower ends of the waterproofing member 5 and provide them in the optimal position to increase the degree of fixation and water density. In the case of exterior wall materials, they are not limited to the lower surface, but may be provided on any of the bottom surface, interior, back surface, etc. In the case of foundation flashing, they may be provided on any of the bottom wall, upper wall, vertical wall, bent part, etc. in addition to the interior.
In short, the method of fixing the waterproofing member 5 to the exterior wall material and foundation flashing material is not limited to the above-mentioned screw fastening, bolt fastening, elastic restoring force, etc., but various conventional fixing techniques can be used, and therefore the fixing function part 7 required for the fixing technique to be used is provided in the necessary parts of the exterior wall material and foundation flashing material.

The purpose of such a fixing function portion 7 is to facilitate fixing of the waterproof member 5, shorten the work time, and enable reliable and strong fixing.
In particular, in order to enable the waterproofing member 5 to withstand direct hits from floodwaters, etc., its upper and lower ends, including the waterproofing member fixing parts 6, are fitted into groove-like portions 7b into which the waterproofing member ends provided on the exterior wall 1 and foundation gutters 2 are fitted, which not only increases the degree of fixation but also increases the water density.

The base material, which is one of the fixing functional parts 7, will be described.
When implementing the invention described in claim 1, if the fixing portion of the exterior wall has an uneven surface or a rough surface, even if the waterproofing member 5 is fixed in its current state, a large amount of water will penetrate through the gap with the exterior wall 1.
Therefore, in order to ensure adhesion and water density at the fixed portion between the waterproofing member 5 and the exterior wall 1, a fixing base material 7c for eliminating unevenness is provided as a fixing functional part 7, and a sealant is filled in, thereby eliminating gaps at the fixed portion between the waterproofing member 5 and the exterior wall 1.
This base material 7c can be applied in two ways: by finishing the lower part of the exterior wall material smoothly, or by adhering a base material 7c made of metal, resin or the like to the lower part of the exterior wall material.

When the base material 7c is to be fixed to an exterior wall material, it is preferable that it is made of a water-resistant and durable metal, resin, etc., and that the outside has a smooth surface to which an adhesive tape can be attached.

The base material 7c, which is primarily attached to existing buildings, does not require storage in normal times because it remains attached to the exterior wall, etc., and its length may be as long as that of general building materials. It may be in a flat shape, but if it is shaped with legs such as a channel (U-shaped groove shape), it can be attached to the exterior wall 1 by filling the inside with sealing and adhesive, and the recesses can be filled.
In addition, a nut for fastening the bolt to fix the waterproof member 5 inside can be fixed.
The front and back surfaces must be flat, the thickness must be at least a few millimeters, and the width must be such that strength can be maintained when secured by screws, etc.

Next, the "pressure fixing material" according to the third aspect of the present invention will be described with reference to the schematic cross-sectional view of FIG.
In this figure, a waterproof member 5 is fixed to a building in which only an exterior wall lower ventilation opening 3 is installed.
In the figure, two pressing fixing materials 8 are shown. The pressing fixing material 8 is a part that literally presses the waterproofing member 5 to fix it to the exterior wall 1 and the foundation flashing 2, and by pressing from above the waterproofing member 5 toward the fixing point, the fixing strength and adhesion of the fixing part are further increased, leading to prevention of damage to the waterproofing member 5. The waterproofing member 5 can be firmly fixed by the inventions described in claims 1 and 2 alone, but in order to fix it even more firmly, it is provided with this pressing fixing material 8.
The pressing fixing material 8 can also be used when the lower part of the waterproofing member 5 needs to be fixed to the foundation, not to the foundation drain. This is because if the waterproofing member 5 is fixed to the foundation, it may be directly hit by a mudflow. In order to prevent damage to the waterproofing member 5 due to this, it is better to protect the waterproofing member 5 from above with the pressing fixing material 8.

In this figure, the lower end of the pressing fixing material 8 is fixed to the base material 7c by screwing so as to contact the upper wall of the foundation flap 2. By fixing in this way, the waterproofing material 5 can be protected from the water pressure applied to the waterproofing material 5 at the lower exterior wall ventilation opening 3. That is, the water pressure applied at this part is large, and the pressing fixing material 8 is pushed toward the building side by this water pressure, but since the upper wall of the foundation flap 2 generally rises diagonally toward the building side to allow rain to flow outward, even if the pressing fixing material 8 is subjected to water pressure, its lower end contacts the upper wall of the foundation flap 2, and it can be prevented from being pushed further toward the building side. Also, if the upper wall of the foundation flap 2 is not in the above-mentioned state and is almost horizontal, it is better to provide a shallow uneven part at the part of the upper wall that contacts the pressing fixing material 8, or to strengthen the fixing of the pressing fixing material 8 by screwing, etc.
The deeper the flooding, the higher the water pressure, so it is necessary to prevent the waterproofing material 5 from being pushed into the building by the water pressure at the ventilation opening 3 at the lower part of the exterior wall. In particular, in areas where the flooding is expected to be deep, it is necessary to take sufficient water pressure measures as described above, and the pressing fixing material 8 is important in terms of water pressure measures.

In addition to the above, as a countermeasure against strong winds in typhoons, direct hits from mudslides, buoyancy from prolonged submersion, etc., the waterproofing member 5 is protected by a pressing fixing material 8 so that the fixing portion of the waterproofing member 5 is not damaged by being pulled or falls off.

In this way, when the waterproofing member 5 is made of a waterproof sheet, or when it is made of metal, resin, etc. but is thin and the hardness and strength of the upper and lower ends is insufficient, it is advisable to use a pressure fixing material 8 in addition to implementing claims 1 and 2.

Regarding size, the vertical length and thickness need only be such that they are strong enough to allow a screw or bolt to penetrate and press against them.
Considering storage in normal times and ease of fixing, the width is desirably about 1.8 to 2 meters, similar to the waterproofing member 5, but may be any length longer or shorter. Similar to the waterproofing member 5, the width may be curved slightly evenly on the left and right sides from the center of the width length, and fixed with screws or the like at one point in the middle and one point each at the left and right ends, thereby increasing the degree of adhesion when fixed.
Also, like the waterproofing member 5, those to be fixed to terminal portions etc. are formed short according to the design at the time of fixing in accordance with the building.
Furthermore, the pressing and fixing material 8 may have a width and length as described above, but may also be several centimeters or more and used partially at the location of screw fastening, etc.
When fixing the waterproofing member 5 onto the pressing fixing material 8 with screws, it is recommended to drill holes for the screws into the pressing fixing material 8 and pilot holes into the base material 7c (the outer wall 1 and the foundation flashing 2 may be drilled when they are fixed). In addition, it is recommended to use screws with large heads that do not slip and can be tightened manually using tools such as a screwdriver. The pilot holes for the screws can be closed with resin caps or the like.

9, the waterproof member 5 is fixed at its upper position by a screw penetrating the waterproof member 5 and fixing it to the base material 7c, but if an uneven portion is provided at the upper end of the waterproof member 5 and the base material 7c and the pressing fixing material 8 are provided with uneven portions that match the uneven portion of the waterproof member 5, the waterproof member 5 is pressed and fixed, so that if there is no risk of it being pulled out even when water pressure or the like is applied, the screw does not need to penetrate the waterproof member 5. The same is true for the lower part (lower end) of the waterproof member 5.

In addition, when providing fixing parts such as screw fixing to the base drain 2 at the upper and lower ends or the middle part in the vertical direction of the waterproofing member 5, the pressing fixing material 8 or a similar material may be adhered or enclosed in advance to the same parts and molded integrally with the waterproofing member 5.

Although the pressing fixing material 8 and the base material 7c are separated into two members, they may be integrated into one member having a substantially U-shaped cross section. In this case, when fixing the waterproofing member 5, its end is inserted into this U-shaped portion and fixed in a state where it is sandwiched by the U-shaped portion.

In areas where the flooding is expected to be deep or long-term, when fixing with screws or the like, it is desirable to affix the outside of the base material 7c to the inside of the waterproofing member 5, and the outside of the waterproofing member 5 to the inside of the pressing fixing material 8, respectively, with double-sided tape in order to improve the degree of fixation, adhesion, and water density of each part.
Furthermore, after the waterproofing member 5 is fixed, it is desirable to attach the outsides of the base material 7c and the pressing and fixing material 8 with adhesive tape in order to improve the integrity of the two members and the water density of the overlapping parts of the two members.

The above is a description of the embodiments relating to claims 1 to 3, and the following is a description of the entire claims.

It is advisable to indicate the fixing positions and the fixing order on the waterproofing members 5 and the pressure fixing materials 8 so that they can be fixed as quickly as possible when flooding is predicted. In addition, it is advisable to create a manual that describes the fixing positions and fixing methods of the waterproofing members 5, etc., and store it together with the waterproofing members 5, etc. This will allow people other than family members to fix them.

Furthermore, by mass-producing the device as a set of exterior wall materials, foundation drainage materials and waterproofing components according to a unified standard, it is expected that it will become a standard flood prevention device that is even cheaper and easier to use.

In any case, the fixing method, etc. is not limited to screw fastening, etc., but can be based on conventional fixing techniques. In order to ensure a simple and strong fixing method, etc., it is desirable to create unified standards for building water intrusion prevention devices made of waterproofing members 5, exterior wall materials, foundation drainage materials, etc., and to popularize disaster prevention measures through mass production.

The building flood prevention device of the present invention described above is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiment, and various modifications can be made to the material of each component, the fixing position, the fixing method, etc. within the scope of the claims.
The basis of this invention is to fix the waterproofing member 5, which is formed in a shape that completely blocks the vent 3 at the lower part of the exterior wall and the ventilation hole 4 at the base drain, to at least one of the exterior wall 1 and the base drain 2, and also to the foundation if necessary. This prevents water from entering, but we also aim to promote its use by making people realize how easy it is to fix with the fixing function part 7. Then, if necessary, such as when flooding is predicted, we use a pressing fixing material 8 to fix the waterproofing member 5 more simply and firmly, preventing water from entering the vent 3 and ventilation hole 4 outside the building, and ensuring the degree of fixation and adhesion of the waterproofing member 5 even if flooding continues for a long time, thereby preventing flooding under the floors of all target buildings.
In the claims, the present invention provides a method for preventing flooding of buildings by referring to flood hazard maps, etc., taking into consideration the location of the building, the surrounding environment, the condition of the building itself, etc., and appropriately combining the waterproofing materials, etc. of the present invention with conventional fixing methods, etc.
