Description
Claims (17)
- 基材の軸方向長さを画定する前部上流端および後部下流端を有する基材を含み、前記基材はその上に触媒コーティングを有する、選択的触媒還元物品であって、前記触媒コーティングが、
第1の銅含有モレキュラーシーブを含む第1コーティング層と、
第2の銅含有モレキュラーシーブを含む第2の異なるコーティング層、
とを含み、
前記第1の銅含有モレキュラーシーブが、該第1の銅含有モレキュラーシーブの総質量に対して、0.1~3wt%の量の酸化銅を含み、前記第2の銅含有モレキュラーシーブが、該第2の銅含有モレキュラーシーブの総質量に対して、所定の量の酸化銅を含み、及び
前記第1の銅含有モレキュラーシーブに含まれる酸化銅の量は、前記第2の銅含有モレキュラーシーブに含まれる酸化銅の量よりも少なく、及び
前記選択的触媒還元物品は、Heavy Duty Diesel US Federal Test Procedureサイクル条件に置かれた場合、少なくとも92%のNOx転化率及び2.3%以下のN2O生成量を示し、及び
前記第1の銅含有モレキュラーシーブは、前記第2の銅含有モレキュラーシーブのシリカ対アルミナ比と等しいシリカ対アルミナ比を有し、及び
第1の銅含有モレキュラーシーブ中の酸化銅の量の、第2の銅含有モレキュラーシーブ中の酸化銅の量に対する比率は、0.6:3.4~2.3:2.7の範囲であり、且つ
前記触媒コーティングが、区分けされており、
前記第1の銅含有モレキュラーシーブを含む前記第1コーティング層を含む、第1ゾーンと、
前記第2の異なる銅含有モレキュラーシーブを含む前記第2コーティング層を含む、第2ゾーン、
とを含み、
前記第1ゾーンは、前記第2ゾーンの上流に在る、ことを特徴とする選択的触媒還元物品。 - 前記第1の銅含有モレキュラーシーブが、前記第2ゾーン中の前記第2の異なる銅含有モレキュラーシーブの銅濃度未満である銅濃度を有する、請求項1に記載の選択的触媒還元物品。
- 前記基材が、多孔質ウォールフローフィルタ、またはフロースルーモノリスである、請求項1に記載の選択的触媒還元物品。
- 前記第2の銅含有モレキュラーシーブの総質量に対して、前記第2の銅含有モレキュラーシーブが、3~10wt%の量の酸化銅を含む、請求項1に記載の選択的触媒還元物品。
- 前記第1の銅含有モレキュラーシーブの総質量に対して、前記第1の銅含有モレキュラーシーブが、1~2.5wt%の量の酸化銅を含み、前記第2の銅含有モレキュラーシーブの総質量に対して、前記第2の銅含有モレキュラーシーブが、3~6wt%の量の酸化銅を含む、請求項1に記載の選択的触媒還元物品。
- 前記第1の銅含有モレキュラーシーブおよび前記第2の銅含有モレキュラーシーブそれぞれのCu/Al原子比が、独立して0.05~0.55であり、第1の銅含有モレキュラーシーブのCu/Al原子比は、第2の銅含有モレキュラーシーブのCu/Al原子比よりも小さい、請求項1に記載の選択的触媒還元物品。
- 前記第1コーティング層が、前記基材の前部の上流端から前記基材の後部の下流端に向かって所定距離延在し、前記第2コーティング層の一部に重なっており、前記第2コーティング層が、前記基材の後部の下流端から前記基材の前部の上流端に向かって所定距離延在している、請求項1に記載の選択的触媒還元物品。
- 前記第1コーティング層が、前記基材の前部の上流端から前記基材の後部の下流端へ所定距離延在し、前記第2コーティング層の全体に重なっており、前記第2コーティング層が、前記基材の後部の下流端から前記基材の前部の上流端へ延びている、請求項1に記載の選択的触媒還元物品。
- 前記第1コーティング層と前記第2コーティング層とが隣接しており、互いに重ならない、請求項1に記載の選択的触媒還元物品。
- 前記第1コーティング層と前記第2コーティング層が、互いに直接接触している、請求項1に記載の選択的触媒還元物品。
- 前記第1の銅含有モレキュラーシーブおよび前記第2の銅含有モレキュラーシーブがそれぞれ、8員環の小細孔モレキュラーシーブである、請求項1に記載の選択的触媒還元物品。
- 前記第1の銅含有モレキュラーシーブおよび前記第2の銅含有モレキュラーシーブが、両方とも独立して、AEI、AFT、AFX、CHA、EAB、ERI、KFI、LEV、SAS、SATおよびSAVからなる群から選択される構造を有するゼオライトである、請求項11に記載の選択的触媒還元物品。
- 前記第1の銅含有モレキュラーシーブおよび前記第2の銅含有モレキュラーシーブのそれぞれが、CHA結晶構造および5~40のシリカ対アルミナ比(SAR)を有するアルミノシリケートゼオライトである、請求項11に記載の選択的触媒還元物品。
- 前記基材が、前記第2ゾーンにアンモニア酸化触媒(AMOx)を含むアンダーコートを含む、請求項1に記載の選択的触媒還元物品。
- 請求項1に記載の選択的触媒還元物品と、
前記選択的触媒還元物品と流体連通し、その上流にある、還元剤注入器、及び
任意に、ディーゼル酸化触媒、煤煙フィルタおよびアンモニア酸化触媒、及び内燃機関のうちの1種または複数種を含む、排ガス処理システム。 - NOxを含有する排気流を処理する方法であって、前記排気流を、請求項1に記載の選択的触媒還元物品に通過させることを含む、方法。
- NOxを含有する排気流を処理する方法であって、前記排気流を、請求項15に記載の排ガス処理システムに通過させることを含む、方法。
