Description
挿通孔が設けられた金属製のケース部材と、
前記挿通孔に挿通された端子部材と、
前記ケース部材に収容され、前記端子部材と接続される電極体と、
前記ケース部材と前記端子部材との間を絶縁し、前記ケース部材および前記端子部材それぞれに接する樹脂部材と、
を備える蓄電デバイスであって、
前記端子部材は、
前記ケース部材の中で前記電極体と接続され、前記ケース部材の中で前記挿通孔を介して前記ケース部材の外まで延びる内部端子部と、
前記ケース部材の外側に位置し、前記ケース部材の外側を向く接続平面を含み、前記ケース部材の内側を向く内側面が前記内部端子部の上端と繋がる平板状の外部端子部と、
を有し、平板状の金属部材を屈曲させることによって、前記内部端子部と前記外部端子部とが形成されたものであり、
前記外部端子部は、
前記内部端子部の上端と繋がる箇所から前記内部端子部の厚み方向の一方の側に延び、前記接続平面の過半をなす本体部と、
前記内部端子部の上端と繋がる箇所から前記内部端子部の厚み方向の他方の側に張り出し、前記接続平面の残りをなす張出部と、
を有し、前記端子部材のうち、前記内部端子部の上端と前記外部端子部の前記内側面とが繋がる箇所を含む部位の断面がT字状をなす、
ように構成される。
電池1は、図1および図2に示すように、直方体状のケース10と、ケース10内に収容された電極体40と、を有し、さらにケース10の電池高さ方向AHの上側AH1の部位を構成する上部11に、樹脂部材70を介して支持された正極の端子部材50と、樹脂部材80を介して支持された負極の端子部材60と、を有している。電極体40は、ケース10内で、絶縁フィルムからなる袋状の絶縁ホルダ5に覆われている。またケース10内には、電解液3が収容されており、その一部は電極体40内に浸され、残りはケース10の電池高さ方向AHの下側AH2の部位を構成する底部12に溜まっている。
次いで、上記電池1の製造方法について、図6のフローチャートを参照しつつ説明する。先ず、「準備工程S0」において、蓋部材30と端子部材50、60とを用意する。蓋部材30には、アルミニウム板を用い、あらかじめプレス加工等により注液孔30k、挿通孔33h、34hおよび安全弁19を形成することで、蓋部材30を得る。また正極の端子部材50はアルミニウム板を、負極の端子部材60は銅板を用い、それぞれをプレス加工等して得る。

Claims (4)
- 挿通孔が設けられた金属製のケース部材と、
前記挿通孔に挿通された端子部材と、
前記ケース部材に収容され、前記端子部材と接続される電極体と、
前記ケース部材と前記端子部材との間を絶縁し、前記ケース部材および前記端子部材それぞれに接する樹脂部材と、
を備える蓄電デバイスであって、
前記端子部材は、
前記ケース部材の中で前記電極体と接続され、前記ケース部材の中で前記挿通孔を介して前記ケース部材の外まで延びる内部端子部と、
前記ケース部材の外側に位置し、前記ケース部材の外側を向く接続平面を含み、前記ケース部材の内側を向く内側面が前記内部端子部の上端と繋がる平板状の外部端子部と、
を有し、平板状の金属部材を屈曲させることによって、前記内部端子部と前記外部端子部とが形成されたものであり、
前記外部端子部は、
前記内部端子部の上端と繋がる箇所から前記内部端子部の厚み方向の一方の側に延び、前記接続平面の過半をなす本体部と、
前記内部端子部の上端と繋がる箇所から前記内部端子部の厚み方向の他方の側に張り出し、前記接続平面の残りをなす張出部と、
を有し、前記端子部材のうち、前記内部端子部の上端と前記外部端子部の前記内側面とが繋がる箇所を含む部位の断面がT字状をなす、
ように構成される蓄電デバイス。 - 請求項1に記載する蓄電デバイスの製造方法であって、
前記端子部材は、
平板状の前記金属部材をL字状に屈曲させることによって、前記内部端子部と前記外部端子部とが形成された後、前記外部端子部の前記内部端子部の厚み方向の前記一方の側の先端を、前記内部端子部を固定しつつ、前記内部端子部の厚み方向の前記他方の側に叩くことによって、前記外部端子部の前記本体部と前記張出部とが形成されてT字状をなすものである、
ように構成される蓄電デバイスの製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載する蓄電デバイスであって、
前記ケース部材の表面のうち、前記樹脂部材と接する領域の少なくとも一部に、粗面化処理が施された領域であるシール領域がある、
ように構成される蓄電デバイス。 - 請求項3に記載する蓄電デバイスであって、
前記ケース部材の外側を向く面のうち、前記樹脂部材と接する領域であって、前記挿通孔から前記内部端子部の厚み方向の前記他方の側の領域に、前記シール領域がある、
ように構成される蓄電デバイス。
