Description

The present invention relates to a modular house that is constructed by combining multiple building units together.

When planning the floor plan of a modular home, zoning is sometimes used, with the living/dining/kitchen area on the south side of the home and the bathroom, toilet, and other water-related spaces on the north side (see, for example, Patent Document 1). In this case, the south side of the home is designated as a living zone with the living/dining/kitchen area, and the north side is designated as a water-related zone with multiple water-related spaces.

When zoning is performed in a modular house as described above, half units with gable dimensions half that of the main unit may be used as building units in addition to normal-sized main units. In this case, for example, a main unit group is formed by arranging multiple main units in the same direction with their beams facing east-west, and a half unit group is formed by arranging multiple half units in the same direction with their beams facing east-west. In this case, the main unit groups are formed in pairs, and the pair of main unit group and half unit group is arranged in the north-south direction. Specifically, from the north to the south, the main unit group, half unit group, and main unit group are arranged adjacent to each other in this order. The main unit group on the north side forms the bathroom zone, and the main unit group and half unit group on the south side form the living space zone.

When creating a bathroom zone and living space zone as described above, it is expected that surplus space will be generated at the boundaries between the zones due to the dimensional relationship between these zones. Therefore, it is conceivable that such surplus space can be used to create small spaces such as storage or pantries, thereby proposing new spatial ideas in modular housing.

However, the surplus space mentioned above is not thought to be large enough for people to enter and exit, and even if space proposals were to be made, it would be difficult to make proposals that meet the customer's needs.

It is also possible to expand the surplus space by replacing the half units with the main units, but in that case, the surplus space would be expanded by the gable dimensions of the half units, which could result in the surplus space becoming too large. In that case, it would be difficult to create a small space with an appropriate size, and it would be difficult to propose an ideal space.

The present invention was made in consideration of the above circumstances, and its main objective is to provide a modular house that can propose new spatial ideas by expanding the excess space that occurs at the boundary between the living area and the bathroom area, thereby forming a small space of appropriate size between these zones.

In order to solve the above problem, the modular house of the first invention is constructed by combining a plurality of building units each having a rectangular parallelepiped shape, the plurality of building units including a main unit and a half unit whose dimension in the gable direction is approximately half that of the main unit, the modular house comprises a pair of main unit groups in which the plurality of main units are arranged in a predetermined first direction with their girder directions facing the first direction, and a half unit group in which the plurality of half units are arranged in a row in the first direction with their girder directions facing the first direction, one of the pair of main unit groups and the half unit group are arranged adjacent to each other in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and the other of the pair of main unit groups is arranged in a row in the first direction with their girder directions facing the first direction. A modular house is arranged on the opposite side of the one main unit group from the other main unit group, with the one main unit group and the half unit group forming a living room zone with an LDK space, and the other main unit group forming a bathroom zone with multiple bathroom spaces, the other main unit group and the half unit group are arranged apart in the second direction, the distance between them is smaller than the dimension of the half units in the gable direction, and a non-unit area where no building units exist is formed between the other main unit group and the half unit group, and an intermediate zone between the living room zone and the bathroom zone is formed including the non-unit area, and multiple small spaces are formed in the intermediate zone aligned in the first direction.

According to the first invention, one main unit group and one half unit group are adjacent to each other in the second direction, and each of these unit groups forms a living zone having an LDK space. The other main unit group is disposed on the opposite side of the half unit group from the one main unit group, and the other main unit group forms a bathroom zone having multiple bathroom spaces.

The other main unit group and the half unit group are arranged apart in the second direction, so that the area between the other main unit group and the half unit group is a non-unit area where no building units exist. The intermediate zone between the living room zone and the bathroom zone is formed including the non-unit area. In this case, the surplus space that originally existed between the living room zone and the bathroom zone can be expanded using the non-unit area to form the intermediate zone. In addition, the distance between the other main unit group and the half unit group, in other words the dimension of the non-unit area in the second direction, is smaller than the dimension of the gable direction of the half unit, so in this case, the surplus space can be appropriately expanded to form the intermediate zone. And, since a plurality of small spaces are formed in the intermediate zone lined up in the first direction, these small spaces can be formed with an appropriate size. This makes it possible to propose new spaces in a modular house.

The second invention is a modular house according to the first invention, in which the multiple small spaces are walk-in spaces that people can enter and exit.

According to the second invention, a small space (walk-in space) that people can enter and exit is formed between the living room zone and the bathroom zone. This makes it possible to realize a new spatial proposal with a small walk-in type space between the living room zone and the bathroom zone.

The third invention is a modular house according to the second invention, in which the LDK space has a living room, dining room, and kitchen lined up in the first direction, and the multiple small spaces include a pantry adjacent to the kitchen and accessible from the kitchen, a storage room adjacent to the dining room and accessible from the dining room, and a work room adjacent to the living room and accessible from the living room.

According to the third invention, between the living room zone and the bathroom zone, there are provided small spaces, such as a pantry accessible from the kitchen, a storage room accessible from the dining room, and a work room accessible from the living room. In this case, since there are multiple small spaces with different functions lined up between the living room zone and the bathroom zone, it is possible to realize a multifunctional space proposal.

The fourth invention is a modular house according to the third invention, in which the multiple water spaces include a bathroom, a washroom, and a toilet that are aligned in the first direction, and the storage room is adjacent to the washroom and can be accessed from the washroom.

According to the fourth invention, the storage room can be accessed from both the dining room and the washroom. In this case, since it is possible to move between the dining room and the washroom through the storage room, the route of housework can be shortened.

The fifth invention is a modular house according to any one of the first to fourth inventions, in which each of the plurality of small spaces has a rectangular shape that is long in the first direction in a plan view, and the length in the first direction is at least twice the length in the second direction.

The fifth invention is an ideal configuration for creating multiple small spaces of appropriate size between the living area and the bathroom area.

Below, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. First, the structure of the building unit 20 that constitutes the modular house 10 will be described with reference to FIG. 3. FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing the building unit 20.

As shown in Figure 3, the building unit 20 is formed in a rectangular parallelepiped shape and includes four columns 21 arranged at the four corners, and four ceiling girders 22 and floor girders 23 that connect the upper and lower ends of each column 21, respectively. The columns 21, ceiling girders 22, and floor girders 23 form a rectangular parallelepiped frame. The columns 21 are made of rectangular tubular steel. The ceiling girders 22 and floor girders 23 are made of channel steel with a U-shaped cross section, and are arranged with their openings facing horizontally inward.

A number of ceiling joists 25 are placed at a predetermined interval between the opposing ceiling girders 22 on the long sides of the building unit 20. A number of floor joists 26 are placed at a predetermined interval between the opposing floor girders 23 on the long sides of the building unit 20. For example, the ceiling joists 25 are made of lip channel steel, and the floor joists 26 are made of square steel. Although not shown in the figure, the ceiling surface material is supported by the ceiling joists 25, and the floor surface material is supported by the floor joists 26.

Next, the modular house 10 will be described. The modular house 10 is constructed by combining a number of building units 20 together. Each building unit 20 is manufactured in advance at a unit manufacturing factory and transported to the construction site by truck. At the construction site, each transported building unit 20 is installed in a predetermined position and connected to each other. In this way, the modular house 10 is constructed.

The modular house 10 is a two-story house with a first floor and a second floor. Both the first and second floors are constructed with a number of building units 20 arranged side by side. Figure 1 is a plan view showing the arrangement of the building units 20 on the first floor of the modular house. The arrangement of the building units 20 on the first floor will be described below with reference to Figure 1.

As shown in FIG. 1, the multiple building units 20 that make up the first floor include a main unit 20A and a half unit 20B. The dimension L2 in the gable direction (short side direction in plan view) of the half unit 20B is approximately half the dimension L1 in the gable direction of the main unit 20A.

The first floor of the modular house 10 comprises a pair of main unit groups 11, 12 in which multiple (specifically, two) main units 20A are arranged in the same direction with their girder direction (longitudinal direction in plan view) facing the east-west direction, and a half unit group 13 in which multiple (specifically, two) half units 20B are arranged in the same direction with their girder direction facing the east-west direction. Of the pair of main unit groups 11, 12, one main unit group 11 and the half unit group 13 are arranged in the north-south direction and adjacent to each other. In this case, the main unit group 11 is located on the south side, and the half unit group 13 is located on the north side. The east-west direction corresponds to the first direction, and the north-south direction corresponds to the second direction.

Of the pair of main unit groups 11, 12, the other main unit group 12 is located on the opposite side of the main unit group 11 with the half unit group 13 in between. The main unit group 12 and the half unit group 13 are aligned in the north-south direction and are spaced apart from each other in the north-south direction. In this case, the spacing dimension L3, i.e., the distance between the main unit group 12 and the half unit group 13, is smaller than the dimension L2 in the gable direction of the half unit 20B.

Between the main unit group 12 and the half unit group 13 is a non-unit area 15 where no building units 20 exist. Although not shown in the figure, floor panels, ceiling panels, wall panels, etc. are installed in the non-unit area 15 by bridging between the main unit group 12 and the half unit group 13.

As described above, on the first floor of the modular house 10, the main unit group 12, non-unit area 15, half unit group 13, and main unit group 11 are lined up in that order from north to south. The unit groups 11-13 and the non-unit area 15 all have the same length in the east-west direction. As a result, on the first floor, the unit groups 11-13 and the non-unit area 15 lined up in the north-south direction form a residential area that is rectangular in plan view.

On the first floor, to the east of the main unit group 12 and the half unit group 13, one main unit 20A is arranged with its girder direction facing the north-south direction. The main unit 20A is arranged across the main unit group 12 and the half unit group 13, and is adjacent to each of these unit groups 12, 13.

On the first floor of the modular house 10, the main unit group 11 and the half unit group 13 form a living space zone 17, and the main unit group 12 forms a bathroom zone 18. The living space zone 17 is formed on the south side of the first floor, and the bathroom zone 18 is formed on the north side. The living space zone 17 is formed across all of the main units 20A that make up the main unit group 11, and all of the half units 20B that make up the half unit group 13. The bathroom zone 18 is formed across all of the main units 20A that make up the main unit group 12. In FIG. 1, the outer edges of the living space zone 17 and the bathroom zone 18 are shown by dotted lines (the same applies to FIG. 2 described below).

On the first floor, the intermediate zone 19 is between the living room zone 17 and the bathroom zone 18. The intermediate zone 19 is formed to include the non-unit area 15. More specifically, the intermediate zone 19 is formed to slightly straddle at least one of the main unit group 12 and the half unit group 13 on either side of the non-unit area 15. Thus, on the first floor, the bathroom zone 18, intermediate zone 19, and living room zone 17 are lined up in this order from north to south. Each of these zones 17 to 19 is a rectangular area in plan view, and all have the same length in the east-west direction. In addition, in Figure 1, the outer edge of the intermediate zone 19 is shown by a dotted line (the same applies to Figure 2 described below).

Next, the layout of the first floor of the unit house 10 will be explained with reference to FIG. 2. FIG. 2 is a plan view showing the layout of the first floor of the unit house 10. The layout of each of the zones 17 to 19 on the first floor will be explained.

First, the living zone 17 will be described. The living zone 17 includes an LDK 31 (corresponding to an LDK space). The LDK 31 includes a living room 31a, a dining room 31b, and a kitchen 31c, which are connected to each other to form a continuous space. The living room 31a, the dining room 31b, and the kitchen 31c are arranged in the east-west direction, and more specifically, the living room 31a, the dining room 31b, and the kitchen 31c are arranged in this order from east to west.

The wet zone 18 has multiple (specifically, three) wet spaces 35-37. These wet spaces 35-37 are a bathroom 35, a washroom 36, and a toilet 37, respectively. The bathroom 35, washroom 36, and toilet 37 are lined up in an east-west direction, and more specifically, the bathroom 35, washroom 36, and toilet 37 are lined up from west to east. In addition to the wet spaces 35-37, the wet zone 18 is also provided with a staircase 39 that leads to the second floor. The staircase 39 is adjacent to the north side of the toilet 37.

The intermediate zone 19 has a number of small spaces 41-43. These small spaces 41-43 are a pantry 41, a closet 42, and a work room 43, respectively. The pantry 41, the closet 42, and the work room 43 are lined up in the east-west direction, and more specifically, the pantry 41, the closet 42, and the work room 43 are lined up from the west side to the east side in this order. In addition, each of the small spaces 41-43 has a rectangular shape that is long in the east-west direction in a plan view, and the length in the east-west direction is more than twice the length in the north-south direction.

The pantry 41 is adjacent to the north side of the kitchen 31c and can be accessed from the kitchen 31c via an entrance 47. The pantry 41 is provided with a storage shelf 48 capable of storing food, tableware, etc.

The closet 42 is adjacent to the north side of the dining room 31b, and can be accessed from the dining room 31b through the entrance 51. The closet 42 is adjacent to the south side of the washroom 36, and can be accessed from the washroom 36 through the entrance 52. The entrances 51, 52 of the closet 42 face each other in the north-south direction. In this case, it is possible to move between the dining room 31b and the washroom 36 through the entrances 51, 52 and the closet 42. Therefore, the closet 42 is a so-called walk-through closet. Of the entrances 51, 52, the entrance 51 is provided with a door 56. However, a door may be provided at the entrance 52 instead of or in addition to the entrance 51.

The closet 42 is provided with storage shelves 53a and 53b. These storage shelves 53a and 53b are capable of storing clothing and the like. The storage shelves 53a and 53b are arranged facing each other in the east-west direction, and are located on either side of the entrances 51 and 52 in the east-west direction. The closet 42 corresponds to a storage room.

The work room 43 is a small room where the resident can do work. The work room 43 is adjacent to the north side of the living room 31a and can be accessed from the living room 31a via a doorway 54. A desk 55 is installed in the work room 43, and desk work can be done on the desk 55.

The pantry 41 and the closet 42 are adjacent to each other in the east-west direction, while the closet 42 and the work room 43 are separated in the east-west direction. A corridor 61 runs between the closet 42 and the work room 43. The corridor 61 extends in the north-south direction and connects the living room 31a with the washroom 36, the toilet 37, and the stairs 39.

Regarding the layout of the first floor of the modular house 10 other than zones 17-19, a front door 63 and a front door hall 64 are provided on the east side of the living room 31a. The front door 63 and the front door hall 64 are adjacent to each other in the north-south direction, with the front door 63 located on the north side and the front door hall 64 on the south side. The front door hall 64 is adjacent to the living room 31a, and the living room 31a can be accessed from the front door hall 64. The front door 63 and the front door hall 64 are formed by the main unit 20A, which is located on the east side of the main unit group 11 and the half unit group 13 (see Figure 1).

The configuration of this embodiment described above provides the following excellent effects:

One main unit group 11 and one half unit group 13 are adjacent to each other in the north-south direction, and these unit groups 11, 13 form a living room zone 17 having an LDK 31. The other main unit group 12 is located on the opposite side of the half unit group 13 from the one main unit group 11, and the other main unit group 12 forms a bathroom zone 18 having multiple bathroom spaces 35-37.

The other main unit group 12 and the half unit group 13 are arranged apart in the north-south direction, so that the area between the other main unit group 12 and the half unit group 13 is a non-unit area 15 where no building unit 20 exists. The intermediate zone 19 between the living space zone 17 and the bathroom zone 18 is formed including the non-unit area 15. In this case, the surplus space that originally existed between the living space zone 17 and the bathroom zone 18 can be expanded using the non-unit area 15 to form the intermediate zone 19. In addition, the separation dimension L3 between the other main unit group 12 and the half unit group 13, in other words the dimension in the north-south direction of the non-unit area 15, is smaller than the dimension L2 in the gable direction of the half unit 20B, so in this case, the surplus space can be appropriately expanded to form the intermediate zone 19. And, since a plurality of small spaces 41 to 43 arranged in the east-west direction are formed in the intermediate zone 19, these small spaces 41 to 43 can be formed with an appropriate size. This makes it possible to propose new spaces in the modular home 10.

Small spaces 41-43 (walk-in spaces) that people can enter and exit are formed between the living room zone 17 and the bathroom zone 18. This allows for the realization of a new spatial proposal with walk-in style small spaces 41-43 between the living room zone 17 and the bathroom zone 18.

Between the living room zone 17 and the bathroom zone 18, there are provided small spaces: a pantry 41 accessible from the kitchen 31c, a closet 42 accessible from the dining room 31b, and a work room 43 accessible from the living room 31a. In this case, since multiple small spaces 41-43 with different functions are lined up between the living room zone 17 and the bathroom zone 18, a multifunctional space can be proposed.

The closet 42 can be accessed from both the dining room 31b and the washroom 36. In this case, since it is possible to move between the dining room 31b and the washroom 36 through the closet 42, the traffic flow for housework can be shortened.

Each of the multiple small spaces 41-43 has a rectangular shape that is long in the east-west direction in a plan view, and the length in the east-west direction is more than twice the length in the north-south direction. In this case, it can be said that this is a suitable configuration for forming multiple small spaces 41-43 with appropriate size between the living room zone 17 and the bathroom zone 18.

The present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and may be implemented, for example, as follows:

- In the above embodiment, the wet zone 18 had the bathroom 35, the washroom 36, and the toilet 37 as wet spaces, but the wet zone 18 may have only two of these wet spaces 35-37. The wet zone 18 may also have wet spaces other than the bathroom 35, the washroom 36, and the toilet 37, such as a laundry room.

- In the above embodiment, the intermediate zone 19 has a pantry 41, a closet 42, and a work room 43 as small spaces, but other small spaces may be provided in the intermediate zone 19. For example, an air conditioning machine room in which an air conditioning unit is installed may be provided as a small space in the intermediate zone 19.

- The small spaces 41-43 in the intermediate zone 19 do not necessarily have to be walk-in spaces, but may be, for example, storage rooms that cannot be accessed by people.

- In the above embodiment, each of the small spaces 41 to 43 is rectangular in shape with a long east-west direction in plan view, and the length in the east-west direction is at least twice as long as the length in the south direction, but this may be changed. For example, the length in the east-west direction of at least one of the small spaces 41 to 43 may be less than twice the length in the north-south direction, or the small spaces may be rectangular in shape with a long north-south direction in plan view.

- In the above embodiment, three small spaces 41 to 43 are provided in the intermediate zone 19, but only two small spaces may be provided in the intermediate zone 19, or four or more small spaces may be provided.

- In the above embodiment, the main unit groups 11 and 12 are configured with two main units 20A, but the main unit groups 11 and 12 may be configured with three or more main units 20A. Similarly, the half unit group 13 may be configured with three or more half units 20B.

- In the above embodiment, the present invention was applied to the first floor of the modular house 10, but it may also be applied to the second floor.
