Description

The present invention relates to an equipment sales device, an equipment sales method, and an equipment sales program for selling equipment designated by a school.

Some of the supplies used by students attending school are designated by the school. Many of these supplies are purchased by students (and their parents) from retailers designated by the school, and in such cases, the school may coordinate the purchases made by students. When the school coordinates purchases, the school must manage the period during which orders are accepted, coordinate order forms, and collect payments, and students may feel uneasy about bringing cash to school. Retailers are also required to entrust large amounts of cash to the school, which exposes them to the risk of not being able to collect the money.

On the other hand, a system is known that sells school-specified supplies over the Internet (see Patent Document 1). Using the system disclosed in Patent Document 1, students can purchase supplies over the Internet and make payments over the Internet.

However, in the system disclosed in Patent Document 1, there is only one entity that supplies the supplies. The supplies designated by the school are handled by different retailers depending on the type of supplies. As a result, schools usually designate multiple retailers, and this is ingrained in the minds of the school and its students. In such a situation, if a school were to newly adopt the system disclosed in Patent Document 1, it would be necessary to organize the retailers designated by the school, which could cause confusion. In addition, the system disclosed in Patent Document 1 had the problem that it was not clear whether the supplies would be purchased within the time period required by the school or retailer.

In consideration of the above problems, the present invention aims to provide an equipment sales device, an equipment sales method, and an equipment sales program that allows multiple retailers designated by a school to each sell equipment, while reducing the burden on the school, students, and retailers.

The supplies sales device according to the present invention is a supplies sales device that sells supplies designated by a school, and is characterized by comprising: a user registration means for registering information on the school and grade attended by the student in association with the information; a supplies registration means for registering supplies designated by the school and sold by a retailer designated by the school in association with information on the school and grade for which the supplies are designated; a supplies information transmission means for transmitting information on the supplies associated with the user via the information on the school and grade to a user terminal held by the user; and a purchase acceptance means for accepting purchases of the supplies by the user.

According to this invention, users can purchase supplies from retailers designated by the school.

Another product sales device according to the present invention is characterized in that the product registration means registers a sales period for the product in association with the product, and the product information transmission means transmits information about the product to the user terminal at a time determined according to the sales period associated with the product.

This invention allows users to know the sales period of products.

Another product sales device according to the present invention is characterized in that the product registration means has a means for registering a flyer containing information about the product in association with information about the school and grade for which the product is specified, and a means for associating the product selected from preregistered products with the flyer, and the product information transmission means transmits the flyer to the user terminal.

This invention allows retailers to manage product sales on a flyer-by-fly basis.

Another product sales device according to the present invention is characterized in that the user registration means accepts input by the user of an authentication code distributed to the student at the school, and permits registration of information about the user if the input authentication code is correct.

This invention allows the sale of supplies to be strictly limited to those related to students attending the school.

Another product sales device according to the present invention is characterized in that the purchase acceptance means presents the user with a number of options regarding the delivery method of the purchased product and accepts the user's selection of one of the options.

This invention allows the user to select the delivery method for the items.

Another product sales device according to the present invention further comprises a quantity counting means for counting the quantity of the product sold, and a ratio calculation means for calculating the ratio of the quantity sold of one of the products to the total sales quantity of the products of the same type as the one of the products, and the product information transmission means transmits the ratio to the user terminal together with information about the product.

According to this invention, users can select products to purchase by referring to the rate at which the product is purchased.

The supplies sales method according to the present invention is a method in which a computer executes the sale of supplies designated by a school, and is characterized by comprising a user registration step of registering information of a user who purchases supplies for a student attending the school and information of the school and grade attended by the student in association with each other, a supplies registration step of registering supplies designated by the school and sold by a retailer designated by the school in association with information of the school and grade for which the supplies are designated, a supplies information transmission step of transmitting information on the supplies associated with the user via the information on the school and grade to a user terminal held by the user, and a purchase acceptance step of accepting the purchase of the supplies by the user.

Next, an embodiment of a goods sales device, a goods sales method, and a goods sales program to which the present invention is applied will be described with reference to the drawings. Note that the embodiments described below are preferred embodiments of the present invention, and therefore various technically preferable limitations are applied, but the scope of the present invention is not limited to these aspects unless otherwise specified in the following description to the effect that the present invention is limited.

The transaction management device according to the present invention will be described with reference to Figs. 1 to 10. Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a product sales network provided by the product sales device according to the present invention. Fig. 2 is a diagram showing the hardware configuration of a product sales system including the product sales device according to the present invention. Fig. 3 is a diagram showing the functional configuration of the product sales device according to the present invention. Fig. 4 is a diagram showing an example of the data structure of a user table recorded in the memory unit of the product sales device according to the present invention. Fig. 5 is a diagram showing tables stored in the memory unit of the transaction management device according to the present invention, in which (a) shows an example of the data structure of a flyer table and (b) shows an example of the data structure of a flyer-product table. <Summary of product sales network>
First, a goods sales network S including a goods sales device 10 according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. 1. The goods sales network S is a network including the goods sales device 10, a school 4, a store 2 designated by the school 4, and a user 3 who purchases goods for students attending the school 4. In this specification, "school" refers to educational facilities in general, including nursery schools, kindergartens, elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools, vocational schools, universities, and graduate schools. In this specification, "student" refers to a general term for those who attend school, and is not limited to students in the narrow sense, but includes kindergarteners, children, and students. In this specification, "goods" refers to items that students use at school. Usually, goods are designated for each grade. Therefore, usually, all students who have newly advanced to that grade purchase the designated goods all at once.

The store 2 is designated by the school 4 and sells the supplies designated by the school 4. The user 3 is a person who purchases supplies for a student attending the school 4, and is typically a guardian of the student, but may also be the student himself/herself. The user 3 purchases the supplies designated by the school 4 that the student attends from the store 2 designated by the school 4. In other words, the user 3 purchases supplies from the store 2 connected via the school 4. This connection is managed by the goods sales device 10, with the store 2 and the user 3 each registering with the goods sales device 10. The goods sales device 10 mediates all of the provision of information about supplies from the store 2 to the user 3 and the intention of purchase shown by the user 3 to the store 2. The goods sales device 10 is a server device, and is connected to a user terminal owned by the user 3 and a terminal owned by the store 2 via a communication network, as described below.

In the goods sales network S, it is the school 4, which is the entity that specifies the goods, that connects the user 3 and the retailer 2. To clarify the connection between the school 4 and the user 3, the goods sales device 10 can be configured to issue a unique authentication code to each school 4 and have the schools 4 distribute the codes to students. This will be described in more detail later.

<Hardware configuration of the product sales system>
In the goods sales network S, a system that actually transmits and receives information between multiple hardware devices is the goods sales system 1. The hardware configuration of the goods sales system 1 will be described with reference to FIG. 2. The goods sales device 10, a store terminal 20 owned by a store, and a user terminal 30 owned by a user are connected to a communication network N. Here, the communication network N is a network for computers to communicate, whether wired or wireless, and includes the Internet, an intranet, and the like. The store terminal 20 and the user terminal 30 are terminal devices for communicating with devices connected to the communication network N, and include computers such as desktop PCs, laptop PCs, tablet terminals, and smartphones. Hereinafter, the description will be given assuming that the store terminal 20 is a desktop PC and that the user terminal is a smartphone.

In the goods sales system 1 according to this embodiment, a messenger app server 90 is connected to the communication network N. The messenger app server 90 provides its clients with a messenger app that allows the clients to send and receive messages in a specific format. The goods sales system 1 according to this embodiment is configured so that communication is possible between the goods sales device 10 and the user terminal 30 in the messenger app format provided by the messenger app server 90. An example of a messenger app is LINE (registered trademark).

The goods sales device 10 includes a calculation unit 11, a storage unit 12, and a communication unit 13 as main hardware components. The calculation unit 11 executes a program 126 recorded in the storage unit 12 to control the operation of the goods sales device 10 as a whole and execute the functions of the goods sales device 10. The functions executed by the calculation unit 11 will be described later. The calculation unit 11 also reads data recorded in the storage unit 12, performs calculations, and extracts and aggregates data under specific conditions, thereby creating new data. The storage unit 12 is composed of memory and storage, and records programs and data required for the functions executed by the calculation unit 11. In addition, the storage unit 12 records new data generated by the calculation unit 11 executing a function. Details of the data recorded in the storage unit 12 will be described later. The communication unit 13 is an interface for communicating with devices connected to the communication network N. The goods sales device 10 is not limited to a device consisting of a single housing, and may be multiple devices using so-called cloud or distributed computing.

<Functions of the product vending device>
Next, the functions executed by the goods sales device 10 will be described with reference to Fig. 3. As shown in Fig. 3, the functions executed by the goods sales device 10 include a store registration function 101, a user registration function 102, a goods registration function 103, a goods information transmission function 104, a purchase reception function 105, an authentication code issuing function 106, a quantity counting function 107, a ratio calculation function 108, and a goods master registration function 109.

The dealer registration function 101 is a function that registers the dealer 2 designated by the school 4 in FIG. 1. By executing the dealer registration function 101, a dealer table 121 is recorded in the memory unit 12 shown in FIG. 2.

The user registration function 102 is a function for registering information on user 3 who purchases supplies for students attending school 4 in FIG. 1. Information on user 3 is registered in association with the school 4 and grade attended by the student. When the user registration function 102 is executed, a user table 122 is recorded in the storage unit 12 shown in FIG. 2. Here, the data structure of the user table 122 will be described with reference to FIG. 4, which shows an example. The user table 122 has a column for the user's name, a column for the name of the student who purchases supplies from the user, and columns for the school, grade, and class attended by the student. With this format, the user is associated with the school and grade through the student. Note that the user table 122 shown in FIG. 4 has a column for the user ID that the supplies sales device 10 assigns to each user 3. If the user 3 can be identified by another field, the column for the user ID can be omitted.

In the example shown in FIG. 4, user "Yamada Taro" is the guardian of two brothers, "Yamada Ichiro" and "Yamada Jiro," and is the user who purchases supplies for these two. "Yamada Ichiro" is a sixth grader at A Elementary School, and "Yamada Jiro" is a fourth grader at A Elementary School. Therefore, there are two records for "Yamada Taro," one associated with the sixth grade at A Elementary School, and the other associated with the fourth grade at A Elementary School. The communication between the supplies sales device 10 and the user terminal 30 when executing the user registration function 102 will be described later.

Next, the product registration function 103 in FIG. 3 will be described. The product registration function 103 is a function that registers products designated by the school 4 in FIG. 1 and sold by the retailer 2, in association with the designated school and school year. In this embodiment, the product registration function 103 is divided into a flyer registration function 1031 that registers a flyer containing information about the product, in association with information about the school and school year that designates the product, and a flyer-product association function 1032 that registers a product selected from the products registered as master data, in association with the flyer. The master data for products will be described later.

When the flyer registration function 1031 is executed, a flyer table 123 is recorded in the memory unit 12 shown in FIG. 2. The data structure of the flyer table 123 will now be described with reference to FIG. 5(a), which shows an example. The flyer table 123 has columns for a name to identify the flyer, an image of the flyer, a retailer selling the items listed in the flyer, a school and grade specifying the items listed in the flyer, and a start date and end date for the items. There is a record for each flyer, and one record associates the flyer with a school and grade, as well as with a sales period.

Next, the flyer-supply association function 1032 in FIG. 3 will be described. When the flyer-supply association function 1032 is executed, the flyer-supply table 124 is stored in the memory unit 12 shown in FIG. 2. The data structure of the flyer-supply table 124 will now be described with reference to FIG. 5(b), which shows an example. The flyer-supply table 124 has a column for flyers in which supplies are listed, a column for supplies, and a column for the price of the supplies. Note that the example shown in FIG. 5(b) shows that multiple supplies are listed in one flyer. With this type of data structure, supplies and flyers are associated with one record in the flyer-supply table 124.

By referencing the flyer-supply table 124, in which supplies are associated with flyers, and the flyer table 123, in which flyers are associated with schools and grades and flyers are associated with sales periods for supplies, supplies are associated with schools and grades, and supplies are associated with their sales periods. Therefore, by executing the flyer registration function 1031 and the flyer-supply association function 1032, supplies are registered in association with information about the school and grade, which is equivalent to executing the supply registration function 103. Furthermore, by executing the flyer registration function 1031 and the flyer-supply association function 1032, supplies are associated with their sales periods.

Next, the product information transmission function 104 in FIG. 3 will be described. When the product information transmission function 104 is executed, product information is sent to the user 3 shown in FIG. 1. Specifically, product information specified by the school and grade attended by the student for whom the user 3 purchases the product is sent to the user terminal 30 (see FIG. 2) held by the user 3. Product information associated with the user 3 can be obtained from the user table 122 shown in FIG. 4, the flyer table 123 shown in FIG. 5(a), and the flyer-product table 124 shown in FIG. 5(b) via the school and grade, and further via the flyer information. This product information is sent to the user terminal 30. Note that the sales period associated with each product can be obtained from the flyer table 123 and the flyer-product table 124, so it is preferable to send product information to the user terminal 30 at a time determined according to this sales period. In addition, since information on flyers associated with user 3 can be obtained from user table 122 shown in FIG. 4 and flyer table 123 shown in FIG. 5(a), it is also preferable to transmit this flyer to user terminal 30 in addition to transmitting product information to user terminal 30.

Next, the purchase reception function 105 in FIG. 3 will be described. When the purchase reception function 105 is executed, a purchase of a product by the user 3 is accepted based on the product information transmitted to the user 3. The operation of the user terminal 30 (see FIG. 2) when this function is executed will be described in detail later.

Next, the authentication code issuing function 106 will be described.
This is executed when constructing the goods sales network S shown in Fig. 1. Specifically, when the authentication code issuing function 106 is executed, the goods sales device 10 issues a unique authentication code for each school 4 shown in Fig. 1. The authentication code may be in any form, such as a character string, a symbol, a one-dimensional barcode, a two-dimensional barcode, or an image.

Next, we will explain how to use this authentication code. When the school 4 is issued with an authentication code, it copies it and distributes it to the students. The students who receive the code then pass it on to the user 3. When the supplies sales device 10 then executes the user registration function 102, the information of the user 3 is registered in association with the school 4 and grade. If the user 3 is required to present the authentication code during this registration, it is possible to prevent someone unrelated to the school 4 from registering while posing as an associated person. Note that the authentication code can be unique for each school 4, and can also be unique for each grade or class. The authentication code can also be unique for each student.

Next, the quantity counting function 107 and the ratio calculation function 108 in FIG. 3 will be described. The quantity counting function 107 is a function that counts how much of each product has been sold, and the calculation unit 11 is configured to tally up the sales quantities of products under various conditions based on the sales log (not shown) recorded in the memory unit 12 in FIG. 2. The ratio calculation function 108 is a function that calculates a ratio based on the sales quantities of products obtained by the quantity counting function 107. Specifically, for the same type of product, the ratio of the sales quantity of each of multiple products sold at different stores to the total sales quantity of the same type of product is calculated. Note that the target for which the ratio is calculated can be selected arbitrarily. The calculated ratio can be transmitted to the user terminal 30 together with the product information by the product information transmission function 104.

Next, the product master registration function 109 in FIG. 3 will be described. As described above, when executing the flyer-product association function 1032 of the product registration function 103, the product to be associated with the flyer is selected from the master data. The product master registration function 109 is a function for registering master data of products, and when the product master registration function 109 is executed, a product master table 125 is recorded in the memory unit 12 shown in FIG. 2. An example of the data structure of the product master table 125 is as shown in FIG. 6. The product master registration function 109 is executed when registering master data for the first time and when updating master data.

In addition, in the various tables mentioned above, columns that are not necessary for association can be omitted, and columns can be added to add information to records. Also, one table can be divided into multiple tables with further normalization.

<Product sales process>
Next, the process of selling products to a user using the product sales device 10 according to this embodiment will be described with reference to the screens displayed on the user terminal 30 and the store terminal 20 shown in Figures 7 to 9. The product sales process includes a store registration step, a user registration step, a product registration step, a product information transmission step, and a purchase acceptance step.

First, the retailer registration step will be described. In this step, the retailer 2 designated by the school 4 shown in FIG. 1 is registered in the goods sales device 10. The registered data is recorded as a retailer table 121 in the memory unit 12 of the goods sales device 10 shown in FIG. 2. This registration can be performed using an input device (not shown) that the goods sales device 10 has, but it can also be performed by the retailer 2 using the retailer terminal 20 connected via the communication network N. Only the retailers 2 designated by the school 4 are registered in this step.

Next, the user registration step for registering user information will be described. In this embodiment, as described above, the messenger application server 90 is connected to the communication network N (see FIG. 2), and the goods sales device 10 is configured to communicate with the user terminal 30 in the form of a messenger application provided by the messenger application server 90. Communication between the user terminal 30 and the goods sales device 10 using this messenger application is possible when the user 3 first starts the messenger application of the user terminal 30 and makes a follow request to the operator of the goods sales device 10, and the operator of the goods sales device 10 approves the request. At this stage, the information of the user 3 is not registered in the goods sales device 10, but messages can be sent and received. The user 3 then sends an indication of intention to register as a member according to the screen displayed on the user terminal 30. The user terminal 30 then displays the screen shown in FIG. 7(a), and is in a state of waiting for input by the user 3.

The screen shown in FIG. 7(a) has fields for inputting the user's name as information about the user 3, and the student's name, school, grade, and class as information about the student. In addition, there is an input field for "identification code" at the bottom. This identification code is an authentication code unique to the school issued by the authentication code issuing function 106 (see FIG. 3) of the supplies sales device 10 described above, and is copied at the school and distributed to the students. The user 3 enters all the information in these input fields, presses "Register" and sends it. If the input identification code is correct, the supplies sales device 10 registers it as user information and records it as one record in the user table 122 (see FIG. 2 and FIG. 4) of the storage unit 12. This associates the user information with the information about the school and grade the student attends. At this time, the screen shown in FIG. 7(b) is displayed on the user terminal 30. From this screen, the items to be purchased can be displayed and the purchase procedure can be started. If the input identification code is incorrect, the input user information is not registered. Using an identification code can prevent unauthorized parties from purchasing items.

Next, the product registration step of registering products in association with a school and a grade will be described. In the product registration step according to this embodiment, the step starts with the store 2 shown in FIG. 1 registering a flyer on which information about the products is posted. The store 2 can create this flyer by itself to appeal to users. The flyer is registered through the store terminal 20 shown in FIG. 2. When registering the flyer, the screen shown in FIG. 8(a) is displayed on the store terminal 20. From this screen, the store 2 inputs information for identifying the flyer (flyer name), the school and grade that specify the products to be posted on the flyer, the flyer validity period that is the sales period of the products, and an image file of the flyer, and presses "Next" to send. The product sales device 10 then records this information as one record in the flyer table 123 (see FIG. 2 and FIG. 5) in the memory unit 12. As a result, the flyer on which information about the products is posted is associated with the school and grade that specify the products.

Then, the retailer 2 associates the product with the registered flyer. The screen shown in FIG. 8(b) has an input field for specifying the product to associate with the flyer. In this field, the product listed on the flyer is selected and entered from the product master table 125 (see FIG. 2 and FIG. 6) that has been registered in advance as described above. When "Register flyer" is pressed and transmitted, the product sales device 10 records this information as a record in the flyer-product table 124 (see FIG. 2 and FIG. 5) in the memory unit 12. Note that, since two products are listed per flyer on the screen shown in FIG. 8(b), when this information is registered, two records are added to the flyer-product table 124. This associates the flyer with the product listed on the flyer.

By registering a flyer in association with a school and grade, and then registering supplies in association with the flyer, you end up associating the supplies with the school and grade that designates them. At the same time, the supplies are also associated with their sales period.

By going through the user registration step and the supplies registration step, the user is associated with the school and grade the student attends, and the supplies are also associated with the specified school and grade. Therefore, the user and the supplies are associated via the school and grade information.

Next, the product information transmission step of transmitting information on the product to the user terminal owned by the user will be described. As described above, since the user and the product are associated with each other through the information on the school and the grade, the product sales device 10 can transmit information on the product associated with the user to the user. The user terminal 30 that receives information from the product sales device 10 operates as follows. That is, when the user presses "search for products" and transmits from the display of the user terminal 30 in the state in which the user registration step is completed as shown in FIG. 7(b), information on the product associated with the user is transmitted from the product sales device 10 to the user terminal 30, and a screen as shown in FIG. 9(a) is displayed on the user terminal 30. On this screen, one of the images of the flyer associated with the user is displayed in the center. A plurality of flyers associated with the user have been transmitted to the user terminal 30, and the user can switch the displayed flyer by performing a predetermined operation (e.g., swiping). FIG. 9(b) shows the state after switching the flyer from the state shown in FIG. 9(a). The user switches the displayed flyer and selects the flyer when he or she finds the product he or she wishes to purchase. When a flyer is selected, information about the associated product listed in the flyer is sent from the product sales device 10 to the user terminal 30, and a screen such as that shown in FIG. 9(c) is displayed on the user terminal 30.

The screen shown in FIG. 9(c) displays detailed information about the product associated with the flyer, as well as information indicating the sales ratio of that product among products of the same type. This ratio is calculated by the product selling device 10 executing the ratio calculation function 108 (see FIG. 3) described above. Users can use this ratio as a reference when purchasing products. It is also possible to omit sending this ratio.

As mentioned above, information on the sales period is associated with each product. Therefore, it is possible to configure the system so that the product and a flyer featuring the product are sent to the user terminal 30 only during the sales period, and not sent outside the sales period. It is also possible to configure the system so that information on the product is sent at an arbitrary time determined according to the sales period.

Next, the purchase acceptance step for accepting the purchase of goods by the user will be described. The supplies in this embodiment are supplies to be used at school. Therefore, the user may not necessarily wish to receive the purchased supplies at home, but may wish for the student to receive them at school. Therefore, the supplies sales device 10 can be configured to transmit multiple options for the delivery method of the purchased supplies to the user terminal 30, and the user can select a desired delivery method from among them and transmit it from the user terminal 30 to the supplies sales device 10. These options can be set appropriately, such as delivery to the user's home, delivery to the school and collection by the student, or collection by the user or student at the store.

Next, the push notification will be described. In order to check whether there is a product that needs to be purchased, the user just needs to display the screen shown in FIG. 7B on the user terminal 30 and press "Search for product".
