Description

This disclosure relates to buildings with dwelling units.

Buildings with dwelling units are known. Patent Document 1 discloses an apartment building for single people. In Patent Document 1, in a dwelling unit in which multiple people live, each person is assigned a private room. Furthermore, facilities such as the kitchen, entrance, and hallway are shared by multiple people.

Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 9-242352

In a residence where multiple people live together, it is desirable to ensure privacy for each person.

(1) A building that solves the above problem is a building that includes a dwelling unit, the dwelling unit includes a first entrance, a second entrance that is located at a different position from the first entrance, a first room connected to the first entrance, a second room connected to the second entrance, a third room adjacent to the first room and accessible from the first room, and adjacent to the second room and accessible from the second room, a partition that separates the first room from the second room, a first wall that separates the first room from the third room, and a second wall that separates the second room from the third room, and the third room has a movable partition that is configured to be movable so as to separate the third room into a plurality of areas.

According to this configuration, the movable partition divides the third room into multiple areas, thereby blocking line of sight between people in the third room. Blocking line of sight between people allows the residents of the dwelling unit to use the partitioned areas in the third room as private spaces. In this way, the building can increase the privacy of the people living in the dwelling unit.

(2) In the building described in (1) above, the third room includes a first area adjacent to the first room and accessible from the first room, a second area adjacent to the second room and accessible from the second room, and a shared area adjacent to the first area and the second area, and the movable partition has a first movable partition configured to be movable to separate the first area from the shared area, and a second movable partition configured to be movable to separate the second area from the shared area.

With this configuration, the first movable partition separates the first area from the shared area, thereby improving the privacy of each of the people in the first area and the second area in the third room. Also, the second movable partition separates the second area from the shared area, thereby improving the privacy of each of the people in the first area and the second area in the third room.

(3) In the building described in (2) above, a first shared facility that can be used by the residents of the dwelling units is provided in the common area.

(4) In the building described in any one of (1) to (3) above, the partition section includes a closed shared space and has a first partition wall separating the first room from the closed shared space and a second partition wall separating the second room from the closed shared space , the closed shared space is configured to be accessible from the third room, and a second shared facility that can be used by the people living in the dwelling unit is disposed in the closed shared space.

With this configuration, a closed shared space is provided in the partition, making it difficult for sound to travel from one of the first and second rooms to the other. This improves privacy for people in the first or second room.

(5) In the building described in any one of (1) to (4) above, a first window is provided in the first wall, and a second window is provided in the second wall.

With this configuration, the first window allows the state of the third room to be seen from the first room. Also, the second window allows the state of the third room to be seen from the second room.

(6) In the building described in (5) above, the dwelling unit further comprises a third wall on which the first entrance is provided and which faces the first wall, and a fourth wall on which the second entrance is provided and which faces the second wall, the first room is provided between the first wall and the third wall, the second room is provided between the second wall and the fourth wall, a third window is provided in the third wall, and a fourth window is provided in the fourth wall.

With this configuration, the first room can receive light from outside the first entrance through the third window. Also, the second room can receive light from outside the second entrance through the fourth window.

(7) In the building described in (6) above, the dwelling unit further includes a fifth wall that separates the outside from the third room and faces the first wall and the second wall, the fifth wall is provided with a fifth window and a sixth window, the first window, the third window, and the fifth window are arranged so that they at least partially overlap each other when viewed from the front, and the second window, the fourth window, and the sixth window are arranged so that they at least partially overlap each other when viewed from the front.

With this configuration, the first room can let in light from outside the fifth window through the first window, and the second room can let in light from outside the sixth window through the second window. Furthermore, the first window, the third window, and the fifth window are positioned so that they at least partially overlap one another when viewed from the front, so that wind can pass through the first window to the fifth window efficiently. By wind passing through the first window to the fifth window, the first room can be ventilated efficiently. Similarly, by wind passing through the second window to the sixth window, the second room can be ventilated efficiently.

(8) In the building described in any one of (1) to (7) above, in the dwelling unit, a center line is defined that passes through the center of the partition in a first direction in which the first room and the second room are aligned and extends in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, the second room is configured to be line-symmetrical with the first room about the center line, and the second entrance is arranged to be line-symmetrical with the first entrance about the center line.

With this configuration, the first and second rooms are configured to be symmetrical about the center line, so there is less of a sense of unfairness between those using the first room and those using the second room.

The building disclosed herein can increase privacy for the people living in the dwellings.

A building 1 according to an embodiment will be described with reference to Figs. 1 to 4 .

<Buildings>

The second room 20 is connected to the second entrance 21. The second entrance 21 is provided at a position different from the first entrance 11. The second entrance 21 is an entrance connecting the second room 20 and the common area 3.

The third room 30 is adjacent to the first room 10 so as to be accessible from the first room 10, and is adjacent to the second room 20 so as to be accessible from the second room 20. The third room 30 includes a first area A1, a second area A2, and a shared area FS. The first area A1 is adjacent to the first room 10 so as to be accessible from the first room 10. The second area A2 is adjacent to the second room 20 so as to be accessible from the second room 20. The first area A1 is used, for example, as a living room for a person using the first room 10. The second area A2 is used, for example, as a living room for a person using the second room 20.

The common area FS is adjacent to the first area A1 and the second area A2. The common area FS is configured to be accessible from the first area A1 and the second area A2. The common area FS is a space that can be used by people living in the dwelling unit 2, either alone or together with others. The common area FS is used, for example, as a shared kitchen for multiple people living in the dwelling unit 2.

The closed shared space CS is a closed space that can be entered and exited by multiple people residing in the dwelling unit 2. The second shared facilities 41 can be used by people residing in the dwelling unit 2. The second shared facilities 41 include, for example, at least one of a washbasin vanity 41a, a toilet 41b, and a bathtub 41c.

In this embodiment, the partition 40 is provided with a first storage room 42 and a second storage room 43. The first storage room 42 is a storage room that can be used by a person using the first room 10. The second storage room 43 is a storage room that can be used by a person using the second room 20. The first storage room 42 and the second storage room 43 are, for example, closets.

The first wall 50 is provided with a first entrance 52. The first entrance 52 is an entrance that connects the first room 10 and the third room 30. The first entrance 52 is configured so that it can be locked at least from the first room 10 side.

The second wall 60 separates the second room 20 from the third room 30. The second wall 60 is provided with a second window 61. The fourth wall 80 is provided with a second entrance 21. The fourth wall 80 faces the second wall 60. The fourth wall 80 is provided with a fourth window 81. The fourth window 81 is arranged on the fourth wall 80 such that at least a portion of the fourth window 81 overlaps with the second window 61 when viewed from the front.

The dwelling unit 2 further includes a fifth wall 90. The fifth wall 90 separates the third room 30 from the outdoor projection 4. The fifth wall 90 separates the third room 30 from the outside, and faces the first wall 50 and the second wall 60. The fifth wall 90 is provided with a fifth window 91 and a sixth window 92. The fifth window 91 is disposed in the fifth wall 90 such that at least a portion of the fifth window 91 overlaps with the first window 51 when viewed from the front. The sixth window 92 is disposed in the fifth wall 90 such that at least a portion of the sixth window 92 overlaps with the second window 61 when viewed from the front.

The first window 51, the third window 71, and the fifth window 91 are arranged so that they at least partially overlap each other when viewed from the front. The dwelling unit 2 is configured so that when the first window 51, the third window 71, and the fifth window 91 are open, when looking into the interior of the first room 10 from the third window 71, the outside of the fifth window 91 can be seen through the first window 51. The second window 61, the fourth window 81, and the sixth window 92 are arranged so that they at least partially overlap each other when viewed from the front. The dwelling unit 2 is configured so that when the second window 61, the fourth window 81, and the sixth window 92 are open, when looking into the interior of the second room 20 from the fourth window 81, the outside of the sixth window 92 can be seen through the second window 61.

The fifth wall 90 has two sleeve walls 93. The two sleeve walls 93 are configured to conceal at least a portion of the first shared facility 31 from at least one of the first area A1 and the second area A2. At least a portion of the first shared facility 31 may be arranged along the fifth wall 90. In the example of FIG. 1, the refrigerator 31b and the cupboard 31c are arranged along the fifth wall 90. The refrigerator 31b and the cupboard 31c are arranged between the two sleeve walls 93. The refrigerator 31b and the cupboard 31c are concealed from the first area A1 and the second area A2 by the two sleeve walls 93.

A center line CL is defined in the dwelling unit 2. The center line CL is defined as a line that passes through the center of the partition 40 in the first direction D1 and extends in the second direction D2. The first direction D1 is the direction in which the first room 10 and the second room 20 are aligned. The second direction D2 is a direction perpendicular to the first direction D1.

In the first direction D1, the second chamber 20 is arranged to be aligned with the first chamber 10 via the partition 40. In the second direction D2, the third chamber 30 is adjacent to the first chamber 10 and the second chamber 20. In the second direction D2, the third chamber 30 is adjacent to the partition 40. The first window 51, the second window 61, the third window 71, the fourth window 81, the fifth window 91, and the sixth window 92 are arranged to face the first direction D1.

The second room 20 is configured to be line-symmetrical with the first room 10 about the center line CL. The second room 20 being line-symmetrical with the first room 10 about the center line CL means that the layout of the second room 20 is the same as the layout of the first room 10. The layout of each room indicates the shape or size of the room, the arrangement of facilities such as the entrance, windows, and walls, etc.

The second storage 43 is configured to be line-symmetrical with the first storage 42 about the center line CL. The size of the second storage 43 is the same as the size of the first storage 42. The second wall 60 is configured to be line-symmetrical with the first wall 50 about the center line CL. The fourth wall 80 is configured to be line-symmetrical with the third wall 70 about the center line CL. The second window 61 is disposed line-symmetrical with the first window 51 about the center line CL.

The second entrance 21 is positioned symmetrically with the first entrance 11 about the center line CL. The entrance door of the second entrance 21 is positioned so that it opens in the opposite direction to the entrance door of the first entrance 11. The entrance of the second entrance 21 is configured so that it is symmetrical with the entrance of the first entrance 11 about the center line CL. The shoe rack of the second entrance 21 is positioned so that it faces the shoe rack of the first entrance 11 with the partition 40 in between.

<Movable partition>
The third room 30 has a movable partition 32. The movable partition 32 is configured to be movable so as to divide the third room 30 into a plurality of areas. The movable partition 32 is configured to be able to block the line of sight between people in the third room 30. For example, the movable partition 32 is configured to be taller than a person's height. The movable partition 32 is moved by a person residing in the dwelling unit 2. The movable partition 32 is moved by a person sliding it, carrying it by a person, driving it by an electric motor, or the like.

The movable partition 32 is, for example, a curtain. An example of a curtain is a curtain that can block the line of sight, such as a flat curtain or an accordion curtain. When the movable partition 32 is a curtain, the movable partition 32 slides along, for example, a curtain rail attached to the ceiling of the third room 30. When the movable partition 32 is a curtain, the movable partition 32 may be configured to be removable from the ceiling of the third room 30.

Specific examples are given below. The movable partition 32 is configured by a non-transparent curtain. In this case, the first end of the curtain is configured to be movable relative to the second end. The curtain has an unfolded state in which the first end is away from the second end, and a retracted state in which the first end is close to the second end. The curtain unfolds so as to block the line of sight from a person in one area of the third room 30 to a person in the other area. In one example, the curtain unfolds so as to extend from the fifth wall 90 to the first wall 50 or the second wall 60. The curtain is retracted so as to be pulled up to the fifth wall 90. In another example, the movable partition 32 is configured by a foldable panel. In this case, like the curtain, the first end of the panel is configured to be movable relative to the second end.

The movable partition 32 may be a panel such as a sliding door, a partition, a sliding wall, a sliding door, or a partition. The movable partition 32 may be one that moves in the vertical direction, such as a roller screen, a blind, or a bamboo blind. The movable partition 32 may be configured to be moved by a person living in the dwelling unit 2, or may be configured to move or open and close automatically by a motor or the like.

The second movable partition 32b is configured to be movable so as to separate the second area A2 from the shared area FS. When the movable partition 32 separates the second area A2 from the shared area FS in the third chamber 30, the second movable partition 32b is deployed between the second area A2 and the shared area FS. When the second movable partition 32b is stored, the second area A2 and the shared area FS are connected in the third chamber 30.

In this embodiment, the movable partition 32 moves along the second direction D2. The first movable partition 32a and the second movable partition 32b are arranged to deploy in parallel in the second direction D2. When the movable partition 32 is a curtain, the curtain rail of the first movable partition 32a and the curtain rail of the second movable partition 32b are arranged in parallel.

The second area A2 is configured to be line-symmetrical with the first area A1 with respect to the center line CL. The second area A2 being line-symmetrical with the first area A1 with respect to the center line CL means that the layout of the second area A2 is the same as the layout of the first area A1. The layout of each area refers to the shape or size of each area, etc.

<Operation of the embodiment>
A first function of this embodiment will be described.
In the dwelling unit 2, for example, a first resident living in the first room 10 and a second resident living in the second room 20 live. Since the first room 10 and the second room 20 each have an entrance to the common area 3, it is difficult for the first resident and the second resident to know their actions such as going out and coming home from their cohabitants. Since walls are arranged between the first room 10 and the second room 20 and the third room 30, it is difficult for the third room 30 to know the inside of each room. In the dwelling unit 2, private information such as the rhythm of life and sounds of life is unlikely to leak between the first resident and the second resident, so the first resident and the second resident can live without worrying about each other more than necessary.

A second function of this embodiment will be described.
2 to 4, in the building 1, the third room 30 is partitioned by a movable partition 32. As examples of partitioning the third room 30, a first example, a second example, and a third example will be described.

In the first example, as shown in FIG. 2, the first area A1, the second area A2, and the shared area FS are connected and not partitioned. In the first example, the movable partition 32 is stored. In the first example, both the first resident and the second resident can use the first shared facility 31.

In the second example, as shown in FIG. 3, the first area A1 is connected to the shared area FS, and the second area A2 is separated from the shared area FS. In the second example, the first movable partition 32a is stored, and the second movable partition 32b is deployed. In the second example, the first resident can use the first shared equipment 31. In the second example, the second resident in the second area A2 is prevented from seeing the first area A1 and the shared area FS.

The third example is a state in which the first area A1 is separated from the shared area FS and the second area A2 is connected to the shared area FS, as shown in FIG. 4. The third example is a state in which the first movable partition 32a is deployed and the second movable partition 32b is stored. In the third example, the second resident can use the first shared equipment 31. In the third example, the first resident in the first area A1 is prevented from seeing the second area A2 and the shared area FS.

By using the third room 30 as in the first example, the first resident and the second resident can share the space in the third room 30. For example, when the first resident and the second resident work together in the third room 30, such as cooking, by using the third room 30 as in the first example, the third room 30 can be used more spaciously. By using the third room 30 in this way, communication between the residents of the dwelling unit 2 can be promoted.

The third room 30 can also be used in the following way. For example, when one resident has an acquaintance visiting, the other resident may want to use the third room 30 to its full extent. For example, in the state of the first example, the second resident can draw the curtain over the second window 61 and lock the second entrance 62, thereby allowing the third room 30 to be used to its full extent and preventing entry or exit from the third room 30 to the second room 20. By using the third room 30 in this way, the privacy of one resident can be ensured while the other resident can use the third room 30 to its full extent.

Furthermore, by partitioning the third room 30 as in the second or third example, the shared area FS can be used by each resident. When using the first area A1 or the second area A2 as a living room to relax alone, for example, by partitioning the third room 30 as in the second or third example, it is possible to block the line of sight between residents. Furthermore, by partitioning the third room 30 as in the second or third example, for example when cooking in the system kitchen 31a, the shared area FS can be used individually.

Effects of the embodiment
(1) Building 1 includes a dwelling unit 2. With this configuration, the people living in the dwelling unit 2 can use the first shared facility 31. The first shared facility 31 can be used by multiple people living in the dwelling unit 2. This allows for more effective use of the space in the dwelling unit 2 than if facilities similar to the first shared facility 31 were placed in both the first room 10 and the second room 20.

(4) The partition section 40 includes a closed shared space CS and has a first partition wall 40a and a second partition wall 40b. The closed shared space CS is configured to be accessible from the third room 30. A second shared facility 41 is disposed in the closed shared space CS.

With this configuration, a closed shared space CS is provided in the partition 40, so sound is less likely to travel from one of the first room 10 and the second room 20 to the other. This improves the privacy of people in the first room 10 or the second room 20.

The second shared facility 41 can be used by multiple people in the dwelling unit 2. This allows for more effective use of the space in the dwelling unit 2 than if facilities similar to the second shared facility 41 were placed in both the first room 10 and the second room 20.

(5) A first window 51 is provided in the first wall 50. A second window 61 is provided in the second wall 60.

With this configuration, the state of the third room 30 can be seen from the first room 10 through the first window 51. The state of the third room 30 can be seen from the second room 20 through the second window 61. A first entrance/exit 52 is provided in the first wall 50. A second entrance/exit 62 is provided in the second wall 60. After seeing the state of the interior of the third room 30 through the first window 51 or the second window 61, it is possible to conveniently enter or exit the third room 30 from the first room 10 or the second room 20.

(6) The dwelling unit 2 further includes a third wall 70 and a fourth wall 80. The first room 10 is provided between the first wall 50 and the third wall 70. The second room 20 is provided between the second wall 60 and the fourth wall 80. The third wall 70 includes a third window 71. The fourth wall 80 includes a fourth window 81.

With this configuration, the first room 10 can receive light from outside the first entrance 11 through the third window 71. Also, the second room 20 can receive light from outside the second entrance 21 through the fourth window 81.

(7) The dwelling unit 2 further includes a fifth wall 90. A fifth window 91 and a sixth window 92 are provided in the fifth wall 90. The first window 51, the third window 71, and the fifth window 91 are arranged so as to overlap at least partially with each other when viewed from the front. The second window 61, the fourth window 81, and the sixth window 92 are arranged so as to overlap at least partially with each other when viewed from the front.

With this configuration, the first room 10 can receive light from outside the fifth window 91 through the first window 51, and the second room 20 can receive light from outside the sixth window 92 through the second window 61. In addition, the first window 51, the third window 71, and the fifth window 91 are arranged so that they at least partially overlap each other when viewed from the front, so that wind can pass through the first window 51 to the fifth window 91 efficiently. The first room 10 can be ventilated efficiently by the wind passing through the first window 51 to the fifth window 91. Similarly, the second room 20 can be ventilated efficiently by the wind passing through the second window 61, the fourth window 81, and the sixth window 92.

In the first room 10, wind can easily pass from the common area 3 to the outdoor overhang 4. Also, the first room 10 can receive light from either the common area 3 or the outdoor overhang 4. The second room 20 also has good ventilation and can receive light appropriately. People can live comfortably in the dwelling unit 2.

(8) In the dwelling unit 2, a center line CL is defined that passes through the center of the partition 40 in the first direction D1 and extends in the second direction D2. The second room 20 is configured to be line-symmetrical with the first room 10 about the center line CL. The second entrance 21 is arranged line-symmetrical with the first entrance 11 about the center line CL.

With this configuration, the first room 10 and the second room 20 are configured to be line-symmetrical with respect to the center line CL, so a sense of unfairness is unlikely to arise between the person using the first room 10 and the person using the second room 20. Furthermore, in the dwelling unit 2, the second area A2 is configured to be line-symmetrical with the first area A1 with respect to the center line CL, so a sense of unfairness is unlikely to arise between the person using the first room 10 and the person using the second room 20.

<Modification>
The above-mentioned embodiment is an example of a possible form of a building, and is not intended to limit the form. A building may take a form different from the form exemplified in the above-mentioned embodiment. Examples of such a form include a form in which a part of the configuration of the embodiment is replaced, changed, or omitted, or a form in which a new configuration is added to the embodiment. Modifications of the embodiment are shown below.

- The first room 10 may be composed of multiple rooms. The multiple rooms constituting the first room 10 may be aligned in the first direction D1 or in the second direction D2.

- The second room 20 may be composed of multiple rooms. The multiple rooms constituting the second room 20 may be aligned in the first direction D1 or in the second direction D2.

- In FIG. 1, the first entrance 11, the second entrance 21, the first entrance 52, and the second entrance 62 are illustrated as hinged doors, but the first entrance 11, the second entrance 21, the first entrance 52, and the second entrance 62 may be sliding doors.

- The first shared facility 31 may be omitted from the shared area FS. In this modification, for example, the shared area FS may be used as a play area for children, or as a space for doing housework, exercising, working, etc.

- The closed shared space CS may be omitted from the partition 40. In this modified example, the partition 40 may be a wall separating the first room 10 and the second room 20.

- As shown in FIG. 5, at least a part of the second shared facility 41 may be omitted from the closed shared space CS. In the example of FIG. 5, the toilet 41b of the second shared facility 41 is omitted. In this modified example, the partition section 40 has a first toilet 12 connected to the first room 10 and a second toilet 22 connected to the second room 20. The first storage room 42 is provided in the first room 10. The second storage room 43 is provided in the second room 20.

- The closed shared space CS may be configured to be accessible from both the first room 10 and the second room 20. Each of the first room 10 and the second room 20 may be provided with an entrance/exit that connects to the closed shared space CS.

- The first entrance 52 may be omitted from the first wall 50. When the first entrance 52 is omitted from the first wall 50, the third room 30 may be configured to be accessible from the first room 10 through the closed shared space CS. For example, an entrance connecting the first room 10 and the closed shared space CS may be provided in the first partition wall 40a. Similarly, the second entrance 62 may be omitted from the second wall 60.

- The first window 51 may be omitted from the first wall 50. The second window 61 may be omitted from the second wall 60. The third window 71 may be omitted from the third wall 70. The fourth window 81 may be omitted from the fourth wall 80. At least one of the fifth window 91 and the sixth window 92 may be omitted from the fifth wall 90.

- The first window 51, the third window 71, and the fifth window 91 may be arranged so as not to overlap each other when viewed from the front. The second window 61, the fourth window 81, and the sixth window 92 may be arranged so as not to overlap each other when viewed from the front.

The second room 20 does not have to be configured symmetrically with the first room 10 about the center line CL. The second entrance 21 does not have to be arranged symmetrically with the first entrance 11 about the center line CL. The second room 20 may differ from the first room 10 in the arrangement of the entrance, windows, walls, etc., the materials of the floor, walls, ceiling, etc., the size of the room, etc.

- The arrangement of the movable partition 32 is not limited to the example of the embodiment. The movable partition 32 may be configured to divide the third room 30 into two or four or more areas. The movable partition 32 may be curved to surround the system kitchen 31a. In this case, the movable partition 32 may have a movable partition 32 other than the first movable partition 32a and the second movable partition 32b in addition to the first movable partition 32a and the second movable partition 32b. The movable partition 32 may only have a movable partition 32 other than the first movable partition 32a and the second movable partition 32b.

- One of the first movable partition 32a and the second movable partition 32b may be omitted from the movable partition 32. In this modified example, the other of the first movable partition 32a and the second movable partition 32b may be arranged along the center line CL.
