Claims (13)
- 金属材質のケースと、
前記ケース内に収容された少なくとも1つ以上の電池セルと、
前記ケースの少なくとも一側に配置されたクーリング部と、
前記クーリング部を固定し、前記電池セルで発生して前記クーリング部を通過したガスを前記ケースの外部に案内するベンティングホールが形成された固定ボディと、
を含み、
熱暴走現象により発生した高温ガスとパーティクルとが前記クーリング部を経て冷却されて外部へ排出され、
前記クーリング部が吸収した熱は周辺に発散される角型二次電池。 - 金属材質のケースと、
前記ケース内に収容された少なくとも1つ以上の電池セルと、
前記ケースの少なくとも一側に配置されたクーリング部と、
前記クーリング部を固定し、前記電池セルで発生して前記クーリング部を通過したガスを前記ケースの外部に案内するベンティングホールが形成された固定ボディと、
を含み、
前記クーリング部は、
前記電池セルで発生する熱によって気化する液体が含浸された吸収材と、
前記吸収材が挿入される挿入ホールが形成された熱伝導ボディと、
を含む、角型二次電池。 - 前記吸収材は、
高吸収性マトリックスである、請求項2に記載の角型二次電池。 - 前記高吸収性マトリックスは、高吸収性ポリマーまたは高吸収性繊維を含む、請求項3に記載の角型二次電池。
- 前記液体は水である、請求項4に記載の角型二次電池。
- 前記クーリング部は、
前記電池セルで発生して前記ベンティングホールに移動するガスの流動方向に対して、前記熱伝導ボディの前方および後方に接合され、前記ガスの熱によって溶融するカバーを含む、請求項2~5のいずれか一項に記載の角型二次電池。 - 前記電池セルは、
電極リードが外部に突出したパウチ型電池セルである、請求項1に記載の角型二次電池。 - 前記電極リードは、
前記クーリング部が配置された前記ケースの前記一側に向かって突出する、請求項7に記載の角型二次電池。 - 金属材質のケースと、
前記ケース内に収容された少なくとも1つ以上の電池セルと、
前記ケースの少なくとも一側に配置されたクーリング部と、
前記クーリング部を固定し、前記電池セルで発生して前記クーリング部を通過したガスを前記ケースの外部に案内するベンティングホールが形成された固定ボディと、
を含み、
前記電池セルは、
電極リードが外部に突出したパウチ型電池セルであり、
前記電極リードは、
前記クーリング部が配置された前記ケースの前記一側に向かって突出し、
前記ケースの前記一側側の端部に結合され、前記固定ボディを覆うサイドケースと、
前記固定ボディと前記サイドケースとの間に備えられ、前記電極リードと電気的に連結されたバスバーと、
を含む、角型二次電池。 - 前記バスバーには、前記ベンティングホールと連通して前記サイドケースの外部に向かって開放されたバスバーホールが形成される、請求項9に記載の角型二次電池。
- 前記クーリング部は、
前記電池セルで発生して前記ベンティングホールに移動するガスの流動方向に対して、前記熱伝導ボディの前方と後方のうち少なくともいずれか一方に配置され、前記ガスに含まれた所定のサイズ以上のパーティクルをろ過するフィルターを含む、請求項2に記載の角型二次電池。 - 前記固定ボディのベンティングホールには、
前記クーリング部を通過したガスに含まれた所定のサイズ以上のパーティクルをろ過するエンドフィルターが備えられた、請求項11に記載の角型二次電池。 - 前記エンドフィルターは、
予め定められた値を超える圧力が作用すると破断するか、または前記ベンティングホールから分離される、請求項12に記載の角型二次電池。
