Description

The present invention relates to a cover member used in a covering structure for a rehabilitating pipe used to repair an existing pipe, as well as a method for constructing a rehabilitating pipe using the cover member and the rehabilitating pipe.

。 In the past, many repair structures (rehabilitation pipes) for existing pipes, such as aging sewer pipes, have been proposed in which the inner surface of the existing pipe is completely covered with an inner surface material (see, for example, Patent Documents 1 to 7).

Incidentally, when repairing the above-mentioned existing pipe, when filling the gap between the inner surface material and the existing pipe with filler material, it is necessary to cover the gap between the existing pipe and the inner surface material to prevent unhardened filler material from leaking from the end of the inner surface material (see, for example, Patent Documents 5 to 7).
In order to cover the gap (pipe opening) between the existing pipe and the inner surface material, methods have been adopted in which the pipe opening is sealed by hand using a sealant such as resin putty or mortar (see, for example, Patent Document 6), or the pipe opening is sealed using general-purpose components such as boards, sandbags, blocks, and foamed resin materials, or expanding materials such as mortar bags (see, for example, Patent Document 7).

However, when the existing pipe to be repaired is a large pipe, the gap between the inner surface material and the existing pipe becomes wider, so the above-mentioned conventional method used to cover the gap (pipe opening) between the existing pipe and the inner surface material has the problem that the work becomes difficult and the work time increases significantly. In addition, when the pipe opening is manually sealed, the mortar used to fill the gap tends to flow toward the back of the pipe and to the left and right, making work particularly difficult above the pipe opening.
In addition, particularly when construction is carried out in conditions of high water volume or extremely fast flow rates, methods such as manually applying sealants such as resin putty or mortar to seal the pipe openings cannot be adopted, and even when general-purpose components or expanding materials are used, it is difficult to secure each material securely in place under flowing water.

The present invention was made in light of these circumstances, and aims to provide a cover member for use in a rehabilitating pipe covering structure that enables smooth and quick work of covering the gap between the existing pipe and the inner surface material when repairing an existing pipe, even when the existing pipe being repaired is large or the work is being carried out under conditions of high water volume or very fast flow velocity, as well as a rehabilitating pipe construction method and pipe that use this cover member.

The following describes, with reference to the drawings, an embodiment of the cover member used in the rehabilitating pipe covering structure of the present invention, as well as a method for constructing a rehabilitating pipe using the cover member and the rehabilitating pipe.

1 to 4 show an embodiment of a rehabilitating pipe to which a cover member used in the covering structure for a rehabilitating pipe of the present invention is applied.
As shown in Figure 1, a rehabilitation pipe 1 for repairing an existing pipe P comprises an inner surface material 2 placed inside the existing pipe P, a filler material 3 that fills the gap between the inner surface material 2 and the existing pipe P, and a covering structure that covers the gap between the existing pipe P and the inner surface material 2 at the end of the inner surface material 2.

In this invention, the existing pipe P to be repaired broadly includes existing pipes of any cross-sectional shape, such as the rectangular cross-section of this embodiment, as well as existing pipes with circular cross-sections.

The rehabilitation pipe 1 can be a wide variety of known rehabilitation pipes used to rehabilitate existing pipes such as aging sewer pipes (see, for example, Patent Documents 1 to 7). However, in this embodiment, a rehabilitation pipe (using the FFT Construction Method Association's "String Construction Method" (registered trademark)) (see Patent Documents 3 and 4) is used, which uses an inner surface material 2 made of a long panel member (LF panel) installed in the axial direction of the existing pipe P, as shown in Figure 5.

The cover member 4 used in the covering structure of the rehabilitation pipe 1 in this embodiment comprises a first panel portion 41 that contacts the inner surface of the existing pipe P, a second panel portion 42 that stands upright from the first panel portion 41 toward the pipe center of the rehabilitation pipe 1, and a third panel portion 43 that is provided as necessary and extends from the second panel portion 42 toward the inner end of the rehabilitation pipe 1 and contacts the inner surface material 2, with the first panel portion 41 fixed to the existing pipe P, the second panel portion 42 covering the gap between the existing pipe P and the inner surface material 2 at the end of the inner surface material 2, and the third panel portion 43 contacting the inner surface of the inner surface material 2 (the surface toward the pipe center of the existing pipe).
In this embodiment, the cover member 4 is used to cover the entire gap between the existing pipe P and the inner surface material 2, but for example, the covering of a portion of the gap that is not subject to flowing water (such as the side of the pipe opening) may be done using only a sealant such as resin putty or mortar (see, for example, Patent Document 6), or using general-purpose materials such as plates, sandbags, blocks, foamed resin materials, or expanding materials such as mortar bags (see, for example, Patent Document 7).

Here, small holes 44 are formed in the first panel portion 41 of the cover member 4, and the cover member 4 is fixed to the existing pipe P via anchor members 44a, such as drive-in anchors, provided in the existing pipe P.
This allows the cover member 4 to be securely fixed to the existing pipe P.

In this case, if the surface of the existing pipe P is uneven and unhardened filler material 3 leaks from the gap between the existing pipe P and the first panel portion 41 of the cover member 4, the recessed portions can be filled with quick-drying mortar beforehand, or the protruding portions can be cut to make them flat, and then the first panel portion 41 of the cover member 4 can be fixed.
Alternatively, after fixing the first panel portion 41 of the cover member 4 to the existing pipe P, a sealant (sealing agent) can be applied with quick-drying mortar from the end of the first panel (the opposite side of the second panel) to the surface of the existing pipe P, or a gasket 48 such as a chloroprene rubber sheet can be interposed between the surface of the existing pipe P and the first panel portion 41 of the cover member 4, or both can be used in combination.
Incidentally, quick-drying mortar can be suitably used for sealing purposes such as this, even in construction where there is a large amount of water or a very fast flow rate.

In this embodiment, the third panel portion 43 is provided to prevent unhardened filler material 3 from leaking out from the gap between the second panel portion 42 of the cover member 4 and the rehabilitation pipe 1. However, if the third panel portion 43 is not provided to reduce weight and manufacturing costs, and unhardened filler material 3 leaks out from the gap between the second panel portion 42 of the cover member 4 and the rehabilitation pipe 1, it is possible to seal the gap with quick-drying mortar, or to seal the gap in advance with a gasket (not shown) such as a chloroprene rubber sheet, or to use both methods.

The third panel portion 43 in this embodiment is provided so as to contact the inner peripheral surface of the inner surface material 2 as described above.
This makes it difficult for the unhardened filler material 3 to leak from the gap between the cover member 4 and the rehabilitating pipe 1. If the unhardened filler material 3 still leaks from the gap between the third panel portion 43 and the inner surface material 2, it is possible to seal (stop) the gap with quick-drying mortar as appropriate, to close the gap in advance with a packing 49 such as a chloroprene rubber sheet, or to use both methods in combination.

In this embodiment, a hole 45 is formed in the second panel portion 42, which leads into the gap between the existing pipe P and the inner surface material 2, and a socket member 45a such as a valve socket is attached to this hole 45 to supply the filler material 3 to fill the gap between the inner surface material 2 and the existing pipe P.
The number and positions of the holes 45 for attaching the socket members 45a can be determined taking into consideration the flow and filling properties of the filler 3. In this embodiment, the holes 45 are formed close to the inner surface of the existing pipe P at the upper and side positions of the rehabilitation pipe 1, and far from the inner surface of the existing pipe P at the lower position.
This allows the filler material 3 to be efficiently filled into the gap between the inner surface material 2 and the existing pipe P.
It is not necessary to form the holes 45 in the second panel portion 42. In this case, a hole saw or the like is used to provide holes (holes for filling the filler material 3) in the inner surface material 2 that lead into the gap between the existing pipe P and the inner surface material 2, and then the filler material 3 is supplied.

In addition, in this embodiment, the second panel portion 42 is provided with a protrusion portion 46 consisting of a cut bolt, a stud bolt, etc., toward the inner side of the rehabilitated pipe 1 in the gap between the existing pipe P and the inner surface material 2.
This protrusion 46 is intended to apply an adhesive force to the second panel portion 42 of the cover member 4 by the filler material 3 that has been filled and solidified in the gap between the inner surface material 2 and the existing pipe P, thereby further improving the integrity of the rehabilitation pipe 1 and the cover member 4.

In this embodiment, the cover member 4 is composed of multiple parts 4A to 4F divided circumferentially around the rehabilitation pipe 1, and each part has a shape that fits the shape of the gap between the existing pipe P and the inner surface material 2 at the end of the inner surface material 2.
In the case of an existing pipe P with a rectangular cross section in this embodiment, parts 4A to 4F are configured to include parts 4A to 4B that are placed on the flat portions of the existing pipe P and parts 4C to 4F that are placed on the corner portions. However, the configuration of the parts can be changed depending on the cross-sectional shape of the existing pipe P, the shape of the gap between the existing pipe P and the inner surface material 2 at the end of the inner surface material 2, the means for transporting the cover member, etc., so that the first panel portion is made approximately arc-shaped to match the circular existing pipe, or so that one part covers the entire lower part of the pipe opening without being divided, or so that one part is shorter than in this embodiment to reduce weight.
This allows a cover member 4 to be manufactured that is compatible with the cross-sectional shape of the existing pipe P, the shape of the gap between the existing pipe P and the inner surface material 2 at the end of the inner surface material 2, and the delivery means, and can be easily installed.

In this embodiment, when the parts 4A to 4F are combined to form the cover member 4, adjacent parts are connected to each other by connecting members 47.
The connecting member 47 has a cross-sectional shape that conforms to the parts 4A to 4F of the cover member 4, and approximately half 47a of it is integrated by welding it to the surface of one of the adjacent parts, and the other approximately half 47b is adhered to the surface of the other of the adjacent parts via a gasket such as a chloroprene rubber sheet.
This prevents unhardened filler 3 from leaking out from gaps between parts 4A to 4F that make up cover member 4. If unhardened filler 3 still leaks out from gaps between parts 4A to 4F, it is possible to seal (stop gaps) with quick-drying mortar as appropriate.

In addition, when the connecting member 47 is not provided and the parts 4A to 4F are butted together to form the cover member 4, if unhardened filler material 3 leaks from the gaps between the parts 4A to 4F, the butted parts can be sealed (stopped) with quick-drying mortar as appropriate.
In this case, more locations require sealing than when the connecting member 47 is provided, but the number of parts constituting the cover member 4 can be reduced, thereby reducing manufacturing costs.

In this embodiment, the parts 4A to 4F and the connecting member 47 that make up the cover member 4 are made of stainless steel plates several millimeters thick (parts 4A to 4F are 3 mm thick, and the connecting member 47 is 2 mm thick made of SUS304), which are welded or bent to form into the desired shape.
This ensures the rigidity to reliably support the pressure of the filler material 3 filled in the gap between the inner surface material 2 and the existing pipe P. Furthermore, compared to the conventional method using only mortar, a high-quality covering structure for the rehabilitated pipe can be constructed that is superior in corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance.
The parts 4A to 4F and the connecting member 47 that make up the cover member 4 are not limited to stainless steel plates, as long as they are made of a material that has the rigidity to reliably support the pressure of the filler material 3 filled in the gap between the inner surface material 2 and the existing pipe P, as well as corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance. For example, aluminum plates, appropriately plated iron plates, fiber-reinforced plastic (including carbon fiber-reinforced plastic) plates, polyvinyl chloride resin plates, polyolefin resin plates such as polyethylene resin plates, etc. can also be used. Furthermore, these materials can be used for different parts of the same cover member 4.

When constructing the rehabilitating pipe 1 using this cover member 4,
A rehabilitated pipe 1 can be constructed by sequentially carrying out the following steps: (1) placing an inner surface material 2 on the inner surface of the existing pipe P; (2) using a cover member 4 to cover the gap between the existing pipe P and the inner surface material 2 at the end of the inner surface material 2; and (3) filling the gap between the existing pipe P and the inner surface material 2 with a filler material 3.
When using the cover member 4 to cover the gap between the existing pipe P and the inner surface material 2, a method of manually applying a sealant such as resin putty or mortar to seal the pipe opening (see, for example, Patent Document 6) or a method of sealing the pipe opening using a general-purpose material such as a plate, sandbag, block, or foamed resin material or an expanding material such as a mortar bag (see, for example, Patent Document 7) can also be used to cover part of the gap.

This allows for the construction of a rehabilitation pipe comprising an inner surface material 2 placed inside the existing pipe P, a filler material 3 that fills the gap between the inner surface material 2 and the existing pipe P, and a cover member 4 that covers the gap between the existing pipe P and the inner surface material 2 at the end of the inner surface material 2.

Furthermore, this allows the work of covering the gap between the existing pipe P and the inner surface material 2 to be carried out smoothly and quickly when repairing an existing pipe P, even if the existing pipe P to be repaired is a large pipe or the work is being carried out in conditions of high water volume or very fast flow rates, and allows the work of constructing the rehabilitated pipe 1, including the work of filling with the filler material 3, to be carried out smoothly and quickly.

The above describes the cover member used in the covering structure for a rehabilitating pipe of the present invention, as well as the method for constructing a rehabilitating pipe using the cover member and the rehabilitating pipe itself, based on examples. However, the present invention is not limited to the configurations described in the above examples, and the configuration can be modified as appropriate within the scope of the spirit of the present invention.
