Description

The present invention relates to a file.

Various files that are configured to be able to assume both an open and closed position have been known (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

When this type of file is unfolded, the entire outer surface of the cover is approximately flat.

However, with a file of this configuration, it is difficult for the user to place their fingers on the outer surface of the cover when the file is unfolded, making it difficult to hold when the file is unfolded.

The present invention was made in light of the above circumstances, and aims to provide a file that is designed to be easier for the user to hold, at least when in the unfolded position.

In other words, the present invention has the following configuration:

The invention described in claim 1 is a file comprising a cover body having a front cover and a back cover connected via a first folding portion, a bound body provided on the inner side of the cover body, and a cover body arranged so as to span between the front cover and the back cover and fixed to the cover body, capable of covering at least a part of the bound body, and is configured to be able to take an expanded position in which the front cover and the back cover can be expanded so as to be approximately flush, and a closed position in which the inner faces of the front cover and the back cover face each other, wherein the first folding portion can take a form that protrudes outward in the expanded position, the cover body comprises a first binding piece connected to the front cover via a first folding portion and a second binding piece connected to the back cover via a second folding portion, the bound body is supported by the first binding piece and the second binding piece via a binding member, and a notch is formed between the first folding portion and the second folding portion .
The invention described in claim 2 is a file comprising a cover body having a front cover and a back cover connected via a first folding portion, a bound body provided on the inner side of the cover body, and a cover body arranged to span between the front cover and the back cover and fixed to the cover body so as to cover at least a portion of the bound body arranged between the cover body, and is configured to be able to take an expanded position in which the front cover and back cover can be expanded so that they are approximately flush, and a closed position in which the inner faces of the front cover and back cover face each other, and the first folding portion can take a form that protrudes outward in the expanded position.

The invention described in claim 3 is a file described in claim 2, in which the cover body has a first binding piece connected to the front cover via a first bent portion and a second binding piece connected to the back cover via a second bent portion, the bound body is supported by the first binding piece and the second binding piece via a binding member , and a notch is formed between the first bent portion and the second bent portion.

The invention described in claim 4 is a file described in claim 1, 2 or 3, in which the first folding portion comprises a pair of outer fold lines formed at the boundary between the front cover and the back cover, and a pair of inner fold lines formed parallel to and inside the pair of outer fold lines, and in the unfolded position, the portion between the outer fold lines and the inner fold lines can adopt an upright position relative to the front cover and the back cover.

A fifth aspect of the present invention is the file according to any one of the first, second , third , and fourth aspects, wherein the object to be bound is movable relative to the front cover or the back cover.

The invention described in claim 6 is a file described in claim 1 or 3, in which the cover body has at least a base sheet in the form of a continuous sheet that is welded to the first binding piece and the second binding piece, and when transitioning from the closed position to the unfolded position, the base end of the front cover and the base end of the back cover are regulated by the base sheet so that they do not move apart from each other.

As described above, the present invention makes it possible to provide a file that is designed to be easy for the user to hold, at least in the unfolded position.

One embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to Figures 1 to 13. Note that in the figures, welded parts (welded portions) are designated by the symbol y.

In this embodiment, the present invention is applied to a file that is configured to be able to assume an unfolded position (T) and a folded position (F), which is a closed position that is folded in half from the unfolded position (T).

The file comprises a cover body A having a front cover 1 and a back cover 2 connected via a first fold M, a clear pocket E, which is a bound body provided on the inside of the cover body A, and a holder J, which is a cover body/sheet body arranged between the front cover 1 and the back cover 2 and fixed to the cover body A, capable of covering almost the entire clear pocket E.

Clear pocket E, supported by cover body A, can store paper sheets such as documents (not shown). Holder J, which is fixed to cover body A and can cover clear pocket E, can hold documents by sandwiching them between base sheet 3 and cover sheet 4.

The file can be used in a variety of ways, depending on the frequency of use and purpose of the documents: storing documents in the clear pocket E, holding them in the holder J, or holding them between the holder J and the cover body A.

The file has a cover body A with a first folding section M that can take an unfolded position (T) and a folded position (F), and a holder J with a second folding section U that can take an unfolded position (S) and a covered position (B). The cover body A and holder J work together to form a structure that can be folded into four.

The file is configured to be able to take two positions: an unfolded position (T) in which the front cover 1 and back cover 2 are substantially flush, i.e., the front cover 1 and back cover 2 are positioned on substantially the same imaginary plane, and a folded position (F) in which the inner surfaces of the front cover 1 and back cover 2 face each other. Furthermore, the first folded portion M of the cover body A can take a form that protrudes outward in the unfolded position (T).

The cover body A, clear pocket E, and holder J are configured to be foldable in half as a unit so that the file can assume the folded position (F).

The following describes each component of the file in detail.

<Cover A>
The cover body A comprises a front cover 1 and a back cover 2 connected via a first folding portion M, a first binding piece C which is a first support piece connected to the front cover 1 via a first bending portion c2, and a second binding piece D which is a second support piece connected to the back cover 2 via a second bending portion d2.

The cover body A is configured to be able to take two positions: an unfolded position (T) in which the front cover 1 and back cover 2 are unfolded so that they are positioned on approximately the same imaginary plane, and a folded position (F) in which the inner surfaces of the front cover 1 and back cover 2 face each other via the clear pocket E and holder J.

[Front cover 1]
The front cover 1 is a generally horizontally elongated rectangle that constitutes the upper half of the book in the unfolded position (T). The front cover 1 is generally the same size as the back cover 2. The right edge of the front cover 1 is provided with a recess 11 that engages with a bundling rubber band Q attached to the back cover 2 when the book is in the folded position (F).

[Back cover 2]
The back cover 2 is a generally horizontally elongated rectangle that constitutes the lower half of the book in the unfolded position (T). The back cover 2 is generally the same size as the front cover 1. A rubber band Q is attached to the back cover 2 to bind the front cover 1 and back cover 2 together when the book is in the folded position (F). A recess 21 is provided on the right side edge of the back cover 2 to engage with the rubber band Q when the book is in the folded position (F).

[First bending portion M]
The first folding portion M is interposed between the front cover 1 and the back cover 2. The first folding portion M connects the front cover 1 and the back cover 2. In this embodiment, the front cover 1 and the back cover 2 are connected only by the first folding portion M. The first folding portion M as a whole forms a hinge portion. The first folding portion M can also function as a spine.

The first fold M comprises a pair of upper and lower outer fold lines m1 extending in the left-right direction formed at the boundary between the front cover 1 and the back cover 2, and a pair of inner fold lines m2 extending in the left-right direction and formed inside the pair of outer fold lines m1, generally parallel to the outer fold lines m1.

In other words, the first folded portion M comprises a central plate-like portion m3 located between a pair of upper and lower inner fold lines m1, and an upper plate-like portion m4 and a lower plate-like portion m5 located above and below the central plate-like portion m3 and between the outer fold line m1 and the inner fold line m2.

In the unfolded position (T), the first folded portion M is capable of assuming a position in which the upper plate-like portion m4 and the lower plate-like portion m5, which are the portions between the outer fold line m1 and the inner fold line m2, stand upright in a direction approximately perpendicular to the front cover 1 and the back cover 2. In addition, in the unfolded position (T), the first folded portion M is capable of assuming a position in which the central plate-like portion m3, which is the portion between the pair of inner fold lines m2, extends in a direction intersecting the upper plate-like portion m4 and the lower plate-like portion m5.

In other words, when cover body A is in the unfolded position (T), first folding portion M has a generally U-shaped configuration in side view, and protrudes outward beyond front cover 1 and back cover 2.

[First binding piece C]
The first binding piece C extends integrally from the left edge, which is the edge on the binding origin side, of the front cover 1. The first binding piece C extends from the portion of the front cover 1 in the unfolded position (T) excluding the lower part of the left edge. In other words, the first binding piece C protrudes from a part of the left edge of the front cover 1.

The first binding piece C is in the shape of a vertically long strip. The first binding piece C includes a first binding piece main body c1 provided with a pair of upper and lower binding foot insertion holes c11 through which the first binding feet G are inserted, and a first bending portion c2 which is a bendable portion provided on one side edge of the first binding piece main body c1 and connects the first binding piece main body c1 and the front cover 1.

The first binding piece C is configured so that the first binding piece main body c1 can be folded back toward the inside of the front cover 1. The first binding piece main body c1 is connected to the front cover 1 via a first bent portion c2, and the portion other than the first bent portion c2 is not constrained to the front cover 1.

The first binding piece C is bent at the first bending portion c2, and the first binding piece main body c1 is folded back toward the inside surface of the front cover 1, forming a basic position. The upper and lower retaining portions g2 of the first binding foot G supported by the first binding piece C in this basic position are positioned between the first binding piece main body c1 and the inside surface of the front cover 1.

In addition, the cover body A is designed to temporarily hold documents by sandwiching them between the front cover 1 and the first binding piece C.

The first binding strip body c1 has a welding surface c12 facing the clear pocket E and to which the first extension portion t1 of the holder J is welded, and a cover-facing surface c13 facing the inside of the front cover 1.

The first bent portion c2 has fold lines c21 extending in the vertical direction and arranged in pairs on the left and right. The first bent portion c2 extends in a direction that intersects with the first bent portion M.

[Second binding piece D]
The second binding piece D extends integrally from the left edge, which is the edge on the binding origin side, of the back cover 2. The second binding piece D extends from the left edge of the back cover 2 in the unfolded position (T) excluding the upper part. In other words, the second binding piece D protrudes from a part of the left edge of the back cover 2.

The second binding piece D is in the shape of a vertically long strip. The second binding piece D has a second binding piece main body d1 provided with a pair of upper and lower binding foot insertion holes d11 through which the second binding feet H are inserted, and a second bending portion d2 which is a bendable portion provided on one side edge of the second binding piece main body d1 and connects the second binding piece main body d1 and the back cover 2.

The second binding strip D is configured so that the second binding strip body d1 can be folded back toward the inside of the back cover 2. The second binding strip body d1 is connected to the back cover 2 via the second bent portion d2, and the portion other than the second bent portion d2 is not constrained to the back cover 2.

The second binding piece D is bent at the second bending portion d2, and the second binding piece main body d1 is folded back toward the inside surface of the back cover 2, forming a basic position. The upper and lower retaining portions h2 of the second binding foot H supported by the second binding piece D in this basic position are positioned between the second binding piece main body d1 and the inside surface of the back cover 2.

In addition, the cover body A is designed to temporarily hold documents by sandwiching them between the back cover 2 and the second binding strip D.

The second binding strip body d1 has a welding surface d12 facing the clear pocket E and to which the second extension portion t2 of the holder J is welded, and a cover-facing surface d13 facing the inside of the back cover 2.

The second bent portion d2 has a pair of fold lines d21 extending vertically and arranged on the left and right. The second bent portion d2 extends in a direction that intersects with the first bent portion M.

[Regarding the spaced relationship between the first binding piece C and the second binding piece D]
The first binding piece C is connected only to the front cover 1. On the other hand, the second binding piece D is connected only to the back cover 2. In other words, the first binding piece C and the second binding piece D are not connected to each other, that is, they are provided at a distance from each other.

A holder J is installed between the first binding strip body c1 and the second binding strip body d1, which are spaced apart from each other, so as to straddle (span) the first folded portion M.

A notch k1 is formed in the cover body A between the first binding piece main body c1 and first bent portion c2 that constitute the first binding piece C, and the second binding piece main body d1 and second bent portion d2 that constitute the second binding piece D. In other words, the cover body A, which has a generally rectangular shape overall when unfolded, has a notch k1 that separates the first binding piece C and the second binding piece D.

<First binding foot G, second binding foot H>
The clear pocket E is bound by first and second binding feet G and H, which are binding members supported by first and second binding pieces C and D.

The first and second binding feet G and H each comprise a strip-shaped binding foot body g1 and h1 extending vertically, and retaining portions g2 and h2, which are cover body engaging portions provided at the upper and lower ends of the binding foot body g1 and h1 and are wider in width than the binding foot body g1 and h1.

The binding foot bodies g1 and h1 are designed with vertical and width dimensions that allow them to be inserted into the first and second binding foot insertion holes e21 and e22 provided in the clear pocket E.

The retention portions g2 and h2 are set to have widths greater than the widths of the binding foot insertion holes c11 and d11 provided in the first and second binding pieces C and D.

A fold line sn is provided on one or both sides of the upper and lower retaining portions g2, h2. By temporarily bending the fold line sn, the retaining portions g2, h2 can be inserted into the binding foot insertion holes c11, d11 formed in the first and second binding pieces C, D, and the first and second binding foot insertion holes e21, e22 formed in the clear pocket E.

The retaining portions g2 and h2, which are temporarily bent along the fold line sn, return to their original, approximately flat position due to the elastic deformation of the members, and engage with the cover-facing surfaces c13 and d13 of the first and second binding pieces C and D, thereby providing the required retaining function.

The upper and lower retaining portions g2 of the first binding foot G are disposed between the adjacent opposing surface c13 of the first binding piece main body c1 and the inner surface of the front cover 1. The upper and lower retaining portions h2 of the second binding foot H are disposed between the adjacent opposing surface d13 of the second binding piece main body d1 and the inner surface of the back cover 2.

<Clear Pocket E>
The clear pocket E is supported by the first binding piece C via the first binding foot G, and is supported by the second binding piece D via the second binding foot H. The clear pocket E is bound by the first and second binding feet G and H provided on the first and second binding pieces C and D.

The clear pocket E comprises a pocket body e1, which can accommodate documents through an opening e11, and a retained end e2, which is located along the left end of the pocket body e1 and has a first binding foot insertion hole e21 and a second binding foot insertion hole e22, through which the first and second binding feet G and H are inserted. In this embodiment, the opening e11 is located in the pocket body e1 so as to align with the retained end e2.

The clear pocket E is capable of changing its position in response to changes in the position of the cover body A. In other words, when the cover body A is folded in half, the clear pocket E is configured to bend in the vertical center in response to the folding of the cover body A, allowing it to be folded in half.

The held end e2 is strip-shaped and extends vertically. The upper half of the held end e2 is provided with a pair of upper and lower first binding foot insertion holes e21 through which the first binding foot G is inserted. The lower half of the held end e2 is provided with a pair of upper and lower second binding foot insertion holes e22 through which the second binding foot H is inserted.

The second binding foot insertion hole e22 is a long hole extending vertically, allowing the lower half of the clear pocket E to flexibly move downward relative to the back cover 2 when the cover body A is folded in half.

In other words, in this embodiment, the clear pocket E is capable of moving vertically relative to the back cover 2 in response to changes in the position of the cover body A between the unfolded position (T) and the folded position (F).

<Holder J>
The holder J has a portion that is disposed on the cover body A or on a plurality of stacked clear pockets E. In this embodiment, the holder J is capable of covering almost the entire clear pocket E from the front side. The holder J is fixed only to the first binding piece C and the second binding piece D by welding.

The holder J is configured to be able to unfold relative to the cover body A and clear pocket E via the first folding portion t12 and the second folding portion t22 that constitute the second folding portion U provided on the holder J only when the cover body A is in the unfolded position (T).

In other words, the holder J is configured to be rotatable around the second folding portion U located between the extension portion 12, which serves as the base end, and the holder main body JH, so that it can take on three positions: a covering position (B) in which the holder main body JH, which serves as the main body, covers the clear pocket E; an unfolded position (S) in which the holder main body JH does not cover the clear pocket E; and an outer position (P) in which the holder main body JH is positioned on the outer surface of the cover body A.

When the holder body JH is in the covering position (B) with the file in the unfolded position (T), the holder body JH is positioned at the top (front) of the file. In other words, the holder body JH is located at the top (front) of the file when in the covering position (B), and when the file is in the unfolded position (T), it can function as a cover, covering the multiple clear pockets E from above (front).

Furthermore, Holder J is configured so that it can easily hold and hold documents by itself. Holder J has a storage space sp between the base sheet 3 and cover sheet 4 that can store documents. In other words, Holder J's cover sheet 4 can cooperate with the base sheet 3 to form a pocket that can store documents.

The holder J is comprised of a continuous base sheet 3 welded to the first binding piece C and the second binding piece D of the cover body A, and a cover sheet 4 that covers the front side of the base sheet 3.

[Base sheet 3]
The base sheet 3 comprises a base sheet main body 31 having a vertically elongated rectangular shape in the unfolded position (T), a first extension portion t1 extending from the upper part of the left end portion of the base sheet main body 31, which is the binding origin side, and a second extension portion t2 extending from the lower part of the left end portion of the base sheet main body 31, which is the binding origin side.

The base sheet 3 has a central bend N extending in the left-right direction in the vertical center when in the unfolded position (T). The central bend N comprises a central fold line n1 that extends linearly in the left-right direction, and upper and lower fold lines n2 that are arranged above and below the central fold line n1 and also extend linearly in the left-right direction.

The central bend N is located in the vertical middle of the base sheet main body 31. In the unfolded position (T), the base sheet 3 has an upper half 3a above the central bend N, and a lower half 3b below the central bend N.

The base sheet body 31 cooperates with the cover sheet 4 to form the holder body JH, which has a storage space sp for storing documents. The base sheet body 31 has a central bend N between the upper half 311 and the lower half 312.

A holding piece 313 is provided at the upper left corner of the base sheet body 31, capable of holding the upper left corner, which is the free end of the cover sheet 4. The holding piece 313 is a piece that extends integrally from the upper edge of the base sheet body 31, is folded back toward the front side of the base sheet body 31, and its left end is welded to the base sheet body 31. The cover sheet 4 is connected to the right end and bottom end of the base sheet body 31, either integrally or by welding.

A third folding portion V is provided on the left side of the base sheet main body 31, extending in the vertical direction in the unfolded position (T). The third folding portion V is arranged approximately parallel to the second folding portion U. The third folding portion V is provided across the entire vertical area of the base sheet main body 31. The third folding portion V is arranged midway between the second folding portion U and the left edge of the cover sheet 4. The third folding portion V has left and right fold lines v1 that are parallel to each other and extend in the vertical direction.

The body edge 314 formed between the second folded portion U and the third folded portion V can function as a gusset when the holder body JH is in the outer position. In other words, the body edge 314 can form a fixed gap between the cover sheet 4 and the cover body A when the holder J is in the outer position (P).

In this embodiment, when the cover body A transitions from the folded position (F) to the unfolded position (F), one outer fold line m1 at the base end of the front cover A and the other outer fold line m1 at the base end of the back cover A are restricted by the base sheet body 31 of the base sheet 3, which is in the form of a continuous sheet, and are configured not to separate from each other.

[First extension portion t1]
The first extension portion t1 extends integrally from the left edge, which is the edge on the binding origin side, of the base sheet main body 31. The first extension portion t1 extends from a portion of the upper half portion 311 of the base sheet main body 31 in the unfolded posture (T) excluding the lower part of the left edge. In other words, the first extension portion t1 protrudes from a part of the left edge of the upper half portion 311 of the base sheet main body 31.

The first extension portion t1 is fixed to the first binding piece C on the cover body A by welding.

The first extension portion t1 is shaped like a vertically long strip. It includes a first extension portion main body t11 that has a portion that is welded to the first binding piece C of the cover body A and is provided with a pair of upper and lower binding foot passage holes ta through which the first binding foot G can pass, and a first bent portion t12 that is provided on one side edge and constitutes a second bent portion U, a bendable section that connects the first extension portion main body t11 and the upper half 311 of the base sheet main body 31.

The first extension portion t1 is configured so that the first extension portion main body t11 can be folded back toward the inner surface of the base sheet main body 31. The first extension portion main body t11 is connected to the base sheet main body 31 via a second folding portion U, and the portions other than the second folding portion U are not constrained to the base sheet main body 31.

When the holder J is in the covering position (B), the first extension portion t1 is bent by the second folding portion U, and the first extension portion main body t11 is folded back toward the inner surface of the base sheet main body 31.

When the holder J is in the deployed position (S), the first extension portion t1 is bent by the second folding portion U, and the first extension portion main body t11 is positioned outside the base sheet main body 31.

The first folded portion t12 has a pair of fold lines t12s extending vertically and arranged on the left and right. The first folded portion t12 extends in a direction that intersects with the first bent portion M.

[Second longitudinal portion t2]
The second extension portion t2 extends integrally from the left edge, which is the edge on the binding origin side, of the base sheet main body 31. The second extension portion t2 extends from a portion of the left edge of the lower half portion 312 of the base sheet main body 31 in the unfolded posture (T), excluding the upper portion. In other words, the second extension portion t2 protrudes from a part of the left edge of the lower half portion 312 of the base sheet main body 31.

The second extension portion t2 is fixed to the second binding piece D on the cover body A by welding.

The second extension portion t2 is shaped like a vertically long strip. The second extension portion t2 has a portion that is welded to the second binding strip D of the cover body A and includes a second extension portion main body t21 that is provided with a pair of upper and lower binding foot passage holes ta through which the second binding foot H can pass, and a second bent portion t22 that is provided on one side edge and constitutes a second bent portion U, a bendable section that connects the second extension portion main body t21 and the lower half 312 of the base sheet main body 31.

The second extension portion t2 is configured so that the second extension portion main body t21 can be folded back toward the inner surface of the base sheet main body 31. The second extension portion main body t21 is connected to the base sheet main body 31 via a second folding portion U, and the portions other than the second folding portion U are not constrained to the base sheet main body 31.

When the holder J is in the covering position (B), the second extension portion t2 is bent by the second folding portion U, and the second extension portion main body t21 is folded back toward the inner surface of the base sheet main body 31.

When the holder J is in the deployed position (S), the second extension portion t2 is bent by the second folding portion U, and the second extension portion main body t11 is positioned outside the base sheet main body 31.

The second folded portion t22 has a pair of fold lines t22s extending vertically and arranged on the left and right. The second folded portion t22 extends in a direction that intersects with the first folded portion M.

The first and second extension portions t1 and t2 described above constitute the holder body support portion that supports the holder body JH, which is primarily composed of the base sheet body 31 and the cover sheet 4.

A notch k2 is formed between the first extension portion t1 and the second extension portion t2. In other words, the base sheet 3, which has a generally rectangular shape overall when unfolded, has a notch k2 that separates the first extension portion t1 and the second extension portion t2.

[Cover sheet 4]
The cover sheet 4 is superimposed on the front of the base sheet 3 and has a second bent portion R extending in the left-right direction at the middle portion in the up-down direction corresponding to the first bent portion N.

The cover sheet 4 is set to have a width dimension shorter than that of the base sheet main body 31. The cover sheet 4 is capable of covering the entire base sheet main body 31 from the front except for the left side. The right end and bottom end of the cover sheet 4 are connected to the base sheet main body 31 either integrally or by welding.

The cover sheet 4 has an upper half 41 having a horizontally elongated rectangular shape, a lower half 42 having a horizontally elongated rectangular shape, a second bent portion R disposed between the upper half 41 and the lower half 42, and a notch 43 to prevent continuity between the right edge of the second bent portion R and the base sheet main body 31.

The second bent portion R is located in the vertical center of the cover sheet 4 in the unfolded position (T). The second bent portion R comprises a central fold line r1 that extends linearly in the left-right direction, and upper and lower fold lines r2 that are arranged above and below the central fold line r1 and also extend linearly in the left-right direction.

The second bend R is configured to bend in a direction away from the first bend N in the folded position (F). More specifically, the second bend R is configured to form a mountain fold in which the central fold line r1 is located more inward than the left and right fold lines r2 in the folded position (F).

The holder body JH in the holder J configured as described above is bent by the first bent portion t12 and the second bent portion t22, which are the second bent portion U, only when the holder J is in the unfolded position, and can be unfolded from the covered position (B) to the unfolded position (S). Furthermore, it can be bent by the second bent portion U and the third bent portion V, and positioned in the outer position (P).

Furthermore, the base sheet 3 and cover sheet 4 of holder J can take a folded position (F) and an unfolded position (T) with the first and second bends N and R as rotation centers. In other words, holder J is capable of changing its position in response to changes in the position of cover body A. In other words, when cover body A is folded in half, holder J is configured to bend and fold in half at the first and second bends N and R located in the vertical center, following cover body A.

Next, with reference to Figures 12 and 13, we will explain the operation of the first folding section M when the file transitions from the folded position (F) to the unfolded position (T).

As shown in Figure 12, when the file is in the folded position (F), the inner surfaces of the front cover 1 and back cover 2 face each other via the folded clear pocket E and holder J. At this time, the first folded portion M has a central plate-like portion m3 located between a pair of inner fold lines m2 that intersects with the front cover 1 and back cover 2, while the upper plate-like portion m4 and lower plate-like portion m5 located between the outer fold line m1 and inner fold line m2 extend flush with the front cover 1 and back cover 2.

Next, when the file is transitioned from the folded position (F) in Figure 12 to the unfolded position (T) in Figure 13, the front cover 1 and back cover 2 change to a position where they coincide on the same virtual plane. Similarly, the clear pocket E and holder J also transition from their folded state to an unfolded state on the inside of the front cover 1 and back cover 2, overlapping each other.

In the unfolded position (T), the first folded portion M has a U-shaped configuration that protrudes from the front cover 1 and back cover 2.

In other words, the central plate-shaped portion m3 of the first folded portion M is oriented approximately parallel to the front cover 1 and back cover 2. Meanwhile, the upper plate-shaped portion m4 and lower plate-shaped portion m5 of the first folded portion M are oriented approximately perpendicular to the front cover 1, back cover 2, and central plate-shaped portion m2.

The first extension t1 connected to the base sheet main body 31 is welded to the first binding piece C connected to the front cover 1, and the second extension t2 connected to the base sheet main body 31 is welded to the second binding piece D connected to the back cover 2. Therefore, the distance between the front cover 1 and back cover 2 in the unfolded position (T) is limited by the base sheet main body 31 so that they do not separate.

As a result, when the file is in the unfolded position (T), the concentration of stress that may occur in the area between the front cover 1 and back cover 2 can be effectively released by the outward protruding deformation caused by the first bent portion M, i.e., by the change in position in which the upper plate-like portion m4 and the lower plate-like portion m5 stand up relative to the front cover 1 and back cover 2.

As described above in detail, the file shown in this embodiment comprises a cover body A having a front cover 1 and a back cover 2 connected via a first fold M; a clear pocket E, which is a bound body provided on the inside of the cover body A; and a holder J, which is a cover body/sheet body arranged to span between the front cover 1 and the back cover 2 and is welded and fixed to the first and second binding pieces C and D of the cover body A, and which can cover at least a portion of the clear pocket E at the covering position (B).

The file is configured so that it can take two positions: an unfolded position (T) in which the front cover 1 and back cover 2 are roughly flush, and a folded position (F) in which the inner surfaces of the front cover 1 and back cover 2 face each other.

The first folded portion M can take a form that protrudes outward in the unfolded position (T).

For this reason, with the file of this embodiment, the first folded portion M is configured to be able to protrude outward in the unfolded position (T), so when used in the unfolded position (T), the first folded portion M, which protrudes outward, can function as a fingerhold for the user, making it easier for the user to hold.

In particular, the file of this embodiment is provided with a clear pocket E, which allows the user to conveniently insert and remove documents from the clear pocket E by placing their fingers on the protruding first folded portion M.

The cover body A comprises a first binding piece C connected to the front cover 1 via a first bent portion c2, and a second binding piece D connected to the back cover 2 via a second bent portion d2. The bound object, a clear pocket E, is supported by the first binding piece C via a first binding foot G, which is a binding member, and by the second binding piece D via a second binding foot H, which is also a binding member, and a notch k1 is formed between the first bent portion c2 and the second bent portion d2.

As a result, the first folding section M located between the front cover 1 and the back cover 2 can operate smoothly without being interfered with by the first and second binding pieces C and D.

The first fold M comprises a pair of outer fold lines m1 formed at the boundary between the front cover 1 and the back cover 2, and a pair of inner fold lines m2 formed parallel to and inside the pair of outer fold lines m1.

In the unfolded position (T), the upper plate-like portion m4 and the lower plate-like portion m5, which are the portions between the outer fold line m1 and the inner fold line m2, can take on an upright position relative to the front cover 1 and the back cover 2.

As a result, the file is able to effectively relieve the concentration of stress that can occur in the area between the front cover 1 and back cover 2 in the unfolded position (T) by changing its position through the protruding deformation of the first bent portion M, i.e., the change in position in which the upper plate-like portion m4 and the lower plate-like portion m5 stand up relative to the front cover 1 and back cover 2. In other words, with the file of this embodiment, the provision of the first bent portion M allows for extremely smooth position changes between the folded position (F) and the unfolded position (T).

The bound clear pocket E is movable relative to the back cover 2. This means that the cover body A's smooth positional change between the folded position (F) and the unfolded position (T) is unlikely to be impeded by the presence of the clear pocket E.

The holder J is provided with a continuous base sheet 3 that is welded to the first binding piece C and the second binding piece D. When transitioning from the folded position (F) to the unfolded position (T), the base end of the front cover 1 and the base end of the back cover 2 are restricted by the base sheet 3 and do not separate from each other.

As a result, the holder J has the base sheet 3 securely adhered to the cover body A. Moreover, because the cover body A and the base sheet 3 are fixed by welding, it is possible to preferably achieve a configuration in which the base end of the front cover 1 and the base end of the back cover 2 do not separate from each other when transitioning from the folded position (F) to the unfolded position (T). In other words, this configuration allows the first folded portion M to preferably take a form that protrudes outward in the unfolded position (T).

Note that the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above.

The shape of the first bent portion may be any suitable shape within the spirit of the present invention. In other words, the first bent portion may be any shape that protrudes outward in the unfolded position, and the specific protruding shape may take various forms.

The object to be bound may be any object that is provided on the inside of the cover body, and is not limited to the clear pocket shown in the above embodiment. Other objects to be bound include, for example, paper. The object to be bound is not limited to objects supported on the cover body via a binding member, but may also be fixed by welding or the like.

The bound object may be configured to be movable relative to the front cover, not the back cover. It may also be configured to be movable relative to both the front and back covers.

The cover body is not limited to the holder shown in the above-described embodiment, as long as it is disposed between the front and back covers, is fixed to the cover body, and is capable of covering at least a portion of the bound object. In other words, the cover body is sufficient as long as it contributes to deforming the first folding portion provided on the cover body so that it protrudes outward in the unfolded position, and is configured to cover at least a portion of the bound object.

In the above-described embodiment, the cover holder is arranged to bridge the front and back covers via the first and second binding strips, but this is not limited to this. For example, the cover may be arranged to bridge the front and back covers by being fixed directly to the front and back covers without the need for the first and second binding strips.

The cover body is not limited to being fixed to the binding side of the cover body, but may also be fixed to the anti-binding side.

The cover body may not have a storage space for storing paper, etc.

The cover body may have the following configuration, for example:

Figure 15 shows an example of another embodiment of holder J, which is a cover/sheet body that is fixed to a file.

In the holder J shown in Figure 15, the lower half 312 of the base sheet main body 31 is fixed to the left edge of the lower half 42 of the cover sheet 4 by welding and is integrally connected to the lower edge of the lower half 42 of the cover sheet 4.

The right edge of the base sheet body 31 and the right edge of the cover sheet 4 are not connected, and can be separated from each other when inserting or removing documents, etc.

The upper half 311 of the base sheet body 31 and the upper half 41 of the cover sheet 4 are configured to be able to move relative to each other in the vertical direction.

More specifically, a guide mechanism GY is provided between the upper half 311 of the base sheet main body 31 and the upper half 41 of the cover sheet 4. The guide mechanism GY is capable of guiding the upper half 311 of the base sheet main body 31 and the upper half 41 of the cover sheet 4 so that they can move relative to each other in the vertical direction in conjunction with the opening and closing movement of the cover body A between the folded position (F) and the unfolded position (T).

The guide mechanism GY includes a rail portion gy1 extending in the vertical direction and provided on one side of either the upper half 311 of the base sheet main body 31 or the upper half 41 of the cover sheet 4 (in the example of Figure 15, the left side of the upper half 41 of the cover sheet 4), and a rail holder gy2 provided on the other side (in the example of Figure 15, the left side of the upper half 311 of the base sheet main body 31) that holds the rail portion gy1 so that it can move relative to the upper half 311 of the base sheet main body 31 in the vertical direction. With this configuration, when the holder J is folded in half, the upper half 41 of the cover sheet 4 can move relative to the upper half 311 of the base sheet main body 31, allowing the cover sheet 4 to be folded smoothly.

In addition, the specific configuration of each part is not limited to the above embodiment, and various modifications are possible without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
