The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a floating structure.

Traditionally, floating structures such as ships have been manufactured in shipbuilding docks and launched by injecting water into the dock (see Patent Document 1 below).

However, the manufacturing method described in Patent Document 1 has the problem that it is difficult to manufacture the next floating structure at the shipbuilding dock until one floating structure has been manufactured and launched, making it unsuitable for mass production.

The present invention was made in consideration of the above circumstances, and provides a method for manufacturing floating structures that can be mass-produced.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention employs the following means.
In other words, the method for manufacturing a floating structure according to the present invention is a method for manufacturing a floating structure in which a floating structure capable of generating at least buoyancy is manufactured at a work site on land, and the floating structure is launched into a body of water, and a lift is used, which is provided in a location adjacent to the work site in the body of water, and which has a mounting section on which the floating structure can be placed, which can be exposed above the water surface or positioned underwater, and the floating structure is launched by changing the mounting section of the lift from a state exposed above the water surface to a state positioned underwater, making it possible to manufacture another floating structure at the work site.

With this floating structure manufacturing method, the launching of a floating structure using a lift and the fabrication of another floating structure in the workshop can be carried out simultaneously. This allows for smooth and rapid manufacturing of floating structures, enabling mass production.

Furthermore, the floating structure manufacturing method according to the present invention may include providing a groove in the work area and the storage area that allows the floating structure to be moved from the work area to the storage area of the lift.

This method of manufacturing a floating structure configured in this way allows the floating structure to be moved along a groove that connects the work area to the lift's mounting section, thereby improving workability.

Furthermore, the floating structure manufacturing method according to the present invention may also include providing a belt conveyor in the work area and the storage area, which enables the floating structure to be moved from the work area to the storage area of the lift.

In this floating structure manufacturing method, the floating structure can be moved on a conveyor belt that connects the work area to the lift's loading section, improving workability.

The floating structure manufacturing method of the present invention allows for mass production.

1 is a schematic diagram illustrating a manufacturing method of a floating structure according to one embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram showing the configuration of a lift.

Hereinafter, a method for manufacturing a floating structure according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
First, we will explain the facilities used in manufacturing the floating structure 1. The facilities for manufacturing the floating structure 1 include a work area 31 consisting of land such as a quay, and a water area W adjacent to the work area 31. Although not shown in Fig. 1, the work area 31 may include a building such as a factory, and is an area for forming the floating structure 1 assembled so as to have at least a configuration capable of generating buoyancy.

The water area W is an ocean, a lake, or the like, and is an area where the floating structure 1 can be launched. A lift 2 that enables the floating structure 1 to be launched is provided in the water area W. Figure 2 is a schematic diagram showing the configuration of the lift 2.
As shown in Figure 2, the lift 2 has a lift base (support portion) 23 on which the floating structure 1 can be placed, multiple piles 21, a center-hole jack 22, and a rod 22a. The multiple piles 21 extend vertically, have the center-hole jack 22 fixed to their upper ends, and are installed on the seabed by being driven into the seabed G of the water area W. One end of the rod 22a is fixed to the lift base 23, and the other end is inserted into the center-hole jack 22. In this way, the lift base 23 is configured to be able to assume two states: a state in which the rod 22a is exposed above the water surface of the water area W when pulled by the center-hole jack 22, and a state in which the rod 22a is allowed to move by the center-hole jack 22 and is located underwater in the water area W. In other words, the center-hole jack 22 uses the reaction force of the piles 21 to move the lift base 23 up and down. The lift base plate 23 moves downward and into the water, so that the floating structure 1 placed on the lift base plate 23 can be launched.

The floating structure 1 may be moved from the work site 31 to the lift base 23 of the lift 2 using various methods. For example, a method (IP-CCV system) may be used in which the floating structure 1 is placed on a mounting platform equipped with vertically moving jacks and horizontally moving jacks and then slid to move. Alternatively, the floating structure 1 may be placed on a mounting platform equipped with air casters and moved using a jack or winch, or the mounting platform with the floating structure 1 may be moved by a belt conveyor, or the mounting platform may be equipped with caterpillars, wheels, or the like. It is preferable that the path from the manufacturing site in the work site 31 to the lift 2 and the lift base 23 of the lift 2 be provided with rails or grooves on which the IP-CCV system, air casters, caterpillars, or wheels can travel, or that a belt conveyor or other device be attached, so that the above-mentioned moving devices can be utilized.

Next, a method for manufacturing a floating structure according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described.
As shown in Figure 1, at least the components of the floating structure 1 that are capable of generating buoyancy are manufactured in a work area 31. The floating structure 1 manufactured in the work area 31 and having at least the components that are capable of generating buoyancy is moved onto a lift base 23 that is exposed above the water surface of a lift 2 installed in a water area W. The lift base 23 of the lift 2 is then lowered, and the lift base 23 is changed from a state where it is exposed above the water surface to a state where it is located underwater, thereby launching the floating structure 1 into the water area W. While the floating structure 1 is being launched into the water area W, the work area 31 starts manufacturing a new floating structure 1. By repeating the above-mentioned work, floating structures 1 are manufactured one after another.

In this floating structure manufacturing method, the launching of the floating structure 1 by the lift 2 and the production of another floating structure 1 in the workshop 31 can be carried out simultaneously. This allows the manufacturing of the floating structure 1 to proceed smoothly and quickly, enabling mass production.

In addition, the floating structure 1 can be moved along a groove connecting the work area 31 to the lift base plate 23, or on a belt conveyor connecting the work area 31 to the lift base plate 23, thereby improving workability.

Furthermore, when launching using the lift 2, the floating structure 1 does not need to be suspended, so there is no need to reinforce the floating structure 1. This eliminates the need for reinforcement work, allowing for manufacturing in a short period of time and mass production at low cost.

Note that the assembly procedures, shapes, and combinations of the components shown in the above-described embodiments are merely examples, and various modifications can be made based on design requirements, etc., without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
