Traditionally, vinyl chloride resin-coated cloth gloves have been used as work gloves in the fishing industry, agriculture, mining industry, etc., but these gloves are required to have abrasion resistance, waterproofness, oil resistance, etc., so they are relatively coated with resin. The layer is thick and therefore rather hard;
It lacks flexibility and texture.

For light work that does not require much abrasion resistance, waterproofness, or oil resistance, thin, flexible gloves with a good texture are more suitable and desirable.

The above-mentioned work gloves coated with vinyl chloride resin are generally made by placing a cloth glove over the hand pattern, immersing it in vinyl chloride resin plastisol, pulling out the excess sol, and then placing it in a heating furnace to gel the resin. It is obtained by melting, cooling, and demolding, but in this case, the feel of the resin-coated cloth gloves depends on the flexibility of the coating resin composition itself, the degree of penetration of the coating resin into the fabric grains, and the coating resin, in addition to the flexibility of the cloth. It depends on the thickness of the layer.

In particular, if the coating resin penetrates into the fabric to a large extent, the flexibility and feel of the glove will be significantly impaired.

Conventionally, in order to prevent the penetration of vinyl chloride resin plastisols, plastisols with high viscosity and high yield values have been prepared and used by adding and blending thixotropic agents.

For this reason, the cloth gloves obtained have a large sol coating thickness, and the gloves obtained by heating cannot be said to have good flexibility and feel.

To improve flexibility and texture, the viscosity of the sol must be lowered in order to make the coating layer thinner, but lowering the viscosity of the sol increases the permeation of the sol into the fabric grains, resulting in a poor texture. It ends up.

There is also a method of pre-filling the fabric to reduce seepage into the fabric even with a relatively low viscosity sol, but this requires complicated work, increases costs, and is not sufficiently effective in preventing seepage.

That is, the present invention involves covering a handprint with a cloth glove and moistening it with water, or covering the handprint with a cloth glove moistened with water and then immersing it in a sol-like vinyl chloride resin composition, or soaking the handprint in a sol-like vinyl chloride resin composition. The material is sprinkled over the cloth gloves to cover the cloth gloves, and the excess resin composition is sufficiently dropped, heated to gel and melt, then cooled and demolded to form a vinyl chloride resin coating layer. To obtain vinyl chloride resin-coated gloves that are thin, flexible, and have a good texture.

The present invention provides a method for obtaining gloves coated with vinyl chloride resin, which has a thin coating thickness and a small degree of penetration into the fabric's grains, is lightweight, highly flexible, and has an excellent texture. By using cloth gloves, 2000 cps will penetrate to the back of the cloth if the gloves are not wet with water.
Even with the following low-viscosity vinyl chloride resin sol, penetration into the fabric is small, and vinyl chloride resin-coated cloth gloves can be obtained by heating, gelling, and melting.

Moreover, even though water is used, if the sol is thinly coated, there is very little entrapment of bubbles due to volatilization of water during heating, which may impair the product value of the gloves, such as their appearance and functionality such as waterproofness. do not have.

The sol-like vinyl chloride resin composition used in the present invention is a paste made by dispersing vinyl chloride resin or vinyl chloride copolymer and a plasticizer, and optionally contains pigments, fillers, heat stabilizers, A diluent, a thixotropic agent, a vinyl chloride resin for viscosity dilution, etc. are added as appropriate, and these gloves are used in ordinary vinyl chloride resin-coated cloth gloves.

The fabric used can be knitted fabric, woven fabric, or non-woven fabric, but it is preferable to use threads with fluff to improve the adhesion of the resin to the fabric and prevent it from penetrating.Since it is wetted with water, the fluff will not rise. There is no appearance defect due to fluff.

Cloth gloves are coated with sol by infiltration or sprinkling, but from the perspective of preventing penetration into the grain of the fabric, it is better to hold the hand pattern horizontally and rotate it rather than immerse it vertically due to liquid pressure. Soaking or sprinkling is preferable.

Example 1 A pair of 34g knitted cotton gloves was immersed in water, pulled out, and the excess water was squeezed out.Then, the gloves were placed in an aluminum hand mold, held in an almost horizontal position, and rotated until the viscosity was 1800Cp. Knitted cotton gloves were coated by dipping them in a container containing a vinyl chloride resin sol having the following composition.

Leave the fingertip facing down until the excess sol has finished dripping,
Next, it is placed in a hot air circulation oven at an ambient temperature of 180°C and heated for 15 minutes to gel and melt, and then taken out from the oven, cooled, and demolded, so that the resin does not penetrate into the back of the cloth gloves and the resin coating amount is 1 pair 55. A vinyl chloride resin-coated cloth glove with excellent flexibility and a good feel was obtained.
