Since the paste had the disadvantage of being prone to adhesion, the rolls had to be washed each time, or the rolls were doused with water beforehand to prevent the paste from adhering to the rolls.

It is known that battery life can be significantly improved.

As a result, the moisture in the electrode plate is absorbed into the lining part, and the moisture in this lining is collected by an inhaler (vacuum device) etc. through a suction hood part that is close to or in contact with the lining surface at a position different from the raised part. This not only improves battery life by absorbing and removing unnecessary moisture present in the electrode plates, but also absorbs and removes the active material that has peeled off from the electrode plate surface after applying the paste. The lining surface, which serves as a substantial pressurizing surface, can always be maintained in a normal state without causing any adhesion such as the like.

By passing the electrode plate 4, which has just been coated with a paste-like active material on the core material or lattice, through the pressure part 3, which is set at a predetermined interval with a pair of pressure rolls, the rolls face each other and are set at a predetermined interval. This is to adjust the surface condition of the electrode plate.

It is fed into the E part 3, where it is pressurized from both the upper and lower sides by the linings 2, 2/ to adjust the thickness and surface condition, and unnecessary water is absorbed by the water-absorbent lining and removed.

If paste or fallen active material is attached, this will also be removed by suction.

The thickness and surface of paste-type electrode plates are continuously adjusted while removing unnecessary moisture and surface deposits, making paste-type electrode plates with excellent performance and low moisture content more efficient. There are some benefits that are often gained.
