DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention is a paper-bound printed decorative board in which an emulsion type adhesive such as ethylene vinyl acetate is applied to the back side of decorative paper, dried, and then the decorative paper is bonded to a base material by true melting. Regarding the manufacturing method, when applying an emulsion type adhesive such as ethylene vinyl acetate to the back side of pre-coated paper,
In order to prevent the tensile strength of the decorative paper from decreasing due to water absorption, an emulsion type adhesive is applied after applying a water absorption sealer treatment to the back side of the precoated paper, and after drying the adhesive, the decorative paper is used as a base material. It is integrated by placing it on a material and applying heat and pressure.

Conventionally, hot-melt adhesive is applied to the back of decorative paper, dried with a hair dryer, rolled up, cut to a predetermined length before use, set on a base material, and then pressed with a flat press. Methods for producing paper-bound printed boards that are bonded by heat and pressure are known.

This method requires only a thermocompression bonding process, just like the conventional DAP decorative board manufacturing method, and there is little process loss. Also, it is possible to apply paper-based printed decorations even on thick substrates such as particle board, and both sides Since it is also possible to bond under heat and pressure at the same time, it has many advantages compared to the conventional aftercoat method.

However, when applying a hot-melt adhesive to the back side of decorative paper, there are restrictions on the quality of the decorative paper depending on the type of adhesive.

The reason for this is, for example, when using an emulsion type adhesive,
This is because the paper significantly absorbs water immediately after the adhesive is applied, which reduces its tensile strength and may cause it to break while drying in the dryer.

To explain the present invention in more detail, first, a desired design is printed on the back side of base paper for decorative paper, which has been pretreated as necessary, and then the printed layer is protected and resistant. Overcoat with amino alkyd resin, urethane resin, or other resin depending on the purpose to provide wear resistance, solvent resistance, etc.

On the other hand, on the back side of the base paper for decorative paper, when applying the emulsion adhesive, a water absorption sealing agent such as acrylic resin is applied to prevent the tensile strength of the paper from decreasing due to water absorption, and then ethylene vinegar is applied. Apply an emulsion type adhesive such as vinyl.

That is, the method of the present invention is different from the conventional method of applying adhesive to a substrate and applying decorative paper with a continuous laminator or press while the adhesive is wet. The paper can be adhered without getting stuck in the conduit grooves, and therefore a highly smooth decorative board can be obtained.

To improve the smoothness of conventional paper-bound printed plywood, sand the surface of the plywood, select plywood with a smooth surface, apply more overcoat paint, and seal the plywood. However, in the present invention, a paper-bound printed decorative board having a smooth surface can be obtained without such special treatment.
