面とタンク基礎表層上面は微視的にはそれぞれ相当に粗
い表面を有しており、両者の接触は多数の接触点と空隙
により構成されている。そのため、開口3より噴出した
防食剤は該空隙を毛細管現象などによりタンク底板の下
面に行きわたる。なお、タンク建設後タンク内に貯蔵液
が入つてタンク基礎が沈下した場合、導管の開口部3が
タンク底板9を突きあげることとなり、導管あるいはタ
ンク底板に異常な負荷がかかることがある。そこで、こ
のような異常な負荷を解消するため、導管の開口部3に
は第3図に示すごとく円盤12を取付けることが好まし
い。なお、上記導管の一端は防食剤注入口4となるため
、タンク外側の適当な位置で地上に通するように配設す
る。本発明の方法においては導管配設後、タンク8を建
設する。タンク底板9は従来と同様に所定の鋼板をタン
ク基礎上に配列して、鋼板相互間を溶接することにより
組立てる。た寸し、本発明においては使用する鋼板の各
々の下面にあらかじめ防食剤を塗布しておく必要はない
。タンク建設後、タンク底板9の周縁とタンク基礎の表

管2の防食剤注入口4より廃油、重質油、アスフアルト
、合成樹脂などの防食剤を適当に選定して注入する。な
