材コイルの両端部が一種の座屈現象を起こしてこぶ状に
盛り上がる現象が生じた。このような状態のままで結束
するとタイトな結束の性能が低下し、あとの搬送過程等
において前記盛り上がり部分が変形し易いために結束強
度が低下する事になる。特にコイルの肉厚(内外径の差
分)が薄く、線材の線径も細いハーフコイルでは、圧縮
時に前記のような座屈現象が生じ易い。本発明は上記の
ような従来の欠点を解消する事を目的とするものであつ
て、以下例示図に基づいてその一実施例を説明する。第
1図は結束機全体を示し、1はリフター、2はマンドレ
ルキヤレツジ、3はヘツドキヤレツジ、4は結束装置、
5は結束用バンド供給装置、6は線材コイル搬送用トロ
リーコンベヤのハンガーである。

所で結束する。本発明の線材コイル結束機に於けるリフ
ターは以上のように実施し得るものであつて、その特徴
は、前記リフターの線材コイル支持面に、線材コイル軸
方向略中央部に対応する箇所から該軸方向に遠ざかるに
従つて高くなるように、互いに逆方向に傾斜する傾斜部
(実施例では傾斜部20)を有せしめた点にある。
