ャフトにスプラッシュ・ディスク4または整流板5が取
付けられたものがある。これらは、プロペラ3の回転に
よつて汚泥がドラフト・チューブ1内を上方または下方
に送られ、上方から出た汚泥がスプラッシュ・ディスク
4または整流板5によつて外方に方向変換されて一部飛
散せられ、スカムを湿潤、軟化するものである。軟化ス
カムはスク9ユー3の逆回転によつて、ドラフト・チュ
ーブ1内に吸込まれて槽底部に送られる。こうしてスカ
ムが液面に蓄積しないようになされている。しかし従来
の撹拌機では汚泥の飛散が十分でなくて、槽の周壁付近
のスカムは崩れないで残ることが多く、そのためドラフ
ト・チューブ1へのスカムの吸込みが不完全であつて、
スカムの液面蓄積を防止できず、また攪拌効果も満足す
べきものとはいえなかつた。この発明は、上記実情に鑑
みてなされたもので、攪拌動力を増すことなく汚泥の飛
散量を増大させて、スカムを十分に湿潤、軟化し、ドラ
フト・チユーブヘのスカムの吸込みを完全に行つてスカ
ムの液面蓄積を確実に防止することができるとともに、
攪拌効果も大巾に向上することができる撹拌機を提供す
ることを目的とする。

破砕されて、ドラフト・チユーブ11の下端から槽底部
