この発明は攪拌機に関し、さらに詳しくは、汚泥の消化

うに、槽内に垂直にドラフト・チューブ1が設けられ、
シャフト2の先端に取付けられたスクリュー3がドラフ
ト・チューブ1内に配され、スクリュー3の上方にてシ
ャフトにスプラッシュ・ディスク4または整流板5が取
付けられたものがある。これらは、プロペラ3の回転に
よつて汚泥がドラフト・チューブ1内を上方または下方
に送られ、上方から出た汚泥がスプラッシュ・ディスク
4または整流板5によつて外方に方向変換されて一部飛
散せられ、スカムを湿潤、軟化するものである。軟化ス
カムはスクリュー3の逆回転によつて、ドラフト・チュ
ーブ1内に吸込まれて槽底部に送られる。こうしてスカ
ムが液面に蓄積しないようになされている。しかし従来
の攪拌機では汚泥の飛散が十分でなく、槽の周壁付近の
スカムは崩れないで残ることが多く、そのためドラフト
・チューブ1へのスカムの吸込みが不完全であつて、ス
カムの液面蓄積を防止できず、また攪拌効果も満足すべ
きものとはいえなかつた。この発明は、上記実情に鑑み
てなされたもので、攪拌動力を増すことなく汚泥の飛散
量を増大させて、スカムを十分に湿潤、軟化し、ドラフ
ト・チユーブヘのスカムの吸込みを完全に行なつてスカ
ムの液面蓄積を確実に防止することができるとともに、
攪拌効果も大巾に向上することのできる攪拌機を提供す

添つて外方に飛散する。また残部は通流路18内に入つ
て上昇し、羽根17に案内され、遠心力によつて外方に
多量にかつ遠方まで飛散せられる。その結果、液面上に
特に槽の周壁付近に多く蓄積しているスカムが、飛散汚
泥によつて湿潤、軟化せられる。この場合、液面上の蓄
積スカムを飛散汚泥で常時解叩する必要はなく、解叩力
が強力なものであれば、間欠的なものでよい。したがつ
て羽根は1つの通液路を形成するように小間隔で2枚だ
け設けられていてもよい。こうしてスカムを軟化した後
、スクリユ一13を矢印Aの逆方向に回転させると、軟
化せられたスカムは汚泥とともにドラフト・チユーブ1
1内に吸込まれて、ドラフト・チユーブ11の下端から
