広く使用されており、特に近年金属脱脂洗浄用溶剤とし

て各種の添加剤が提案されている。メチレンクロライド
についても現在までにかなりの添加剤が提案されている
が、まだ完全に満足すべき状態でない。本発明者らはメ
チレンクロライドが本来有する性能を阻害せず、比較的
少量の添加でより高度の安定化達成を目的として鋭意研
究を重ねた結果、メチレンクロライドにプロピレンオキ
サイド、1・4−ジオキサン、ジアルキルアミン、低級
アルコールおよびアミレンを組み合わせて添加すること
により上記目的が満足され得ることを見出し本発明を完

ることも見出された。上記したような成分を比較的少量
配合してなる本発明のメチレンクロライド組成物は前記
したメチレンクロライドが本来有する特徴をそのまゝ維
持しており、光、熱、水分、金属粉、溶解物、研磨剤等
の存在するか酷な条件下での酸化、熱分解、加水分解等
の劣化に対する安定性が顕著に改善されたものである。
メチレンクロライドに対する上記した添加剤の配合割合
はいづれも少量でよく、プロピレンオキサイドは0.0
1〜1.0重量%、1・4−ジオキサンは0.001〜
1.0重量%、ジアルキルアミンは0.0001〜0.
01重量%、低級アルコールは0.01〜1.0重量%
、アミレンは0.001〜1.0重量%、ニトロメタン
は0.001〜1.0重量%の範囲でそれぞれ添加すれ
ばよい。各添加剤の配合割合が上記した範囲の下限より
も少ないときは十分な安定化効果が得られず、他方上記
範囲の上限を越える多量を加えても、それ以上の効果が
得られないのみならず、経済的に不利となるからである
。上記低級アルコールおよびジアルキルアミンとしては
メタノール エタノール プロパノールジエチルアミン
、ジイソプロピルアミン、エチルプロピルアミンなどが
例示され、これらは1種に限られず、2種以上を併用し

、よりか酷な条件であつても確実かつ永続的な耐劣化性
を発揮し、機械装置や製品に腐食、変色等の不利を与え

の表に示すような各種の添加剤を含むメチレンクロライ
