[Detailed Description of the Invention] Knives, kitchen knives, and other cutlery with a blade pattern on their blades have a Japanese sword-like aesthetic that can be seen from ancient pottery, increasing their commercial value, and are valued as luxury items.

The manufacturing methods for these knives include, for example, a method called honyaki knife, in which a blade pattern is expressed on the blade by heat treatment with a difference in hardness, or a method in which a composite material is hot forged to join the blade steel material and the base material. It is generally manufactured using methods such as creating a hamon pattern on the border.

These methods are unique for each item, and are based on traditional handmade work, so they are currently unavoidably expensive. The present invention not only has a blade pattern 4 on the blade part 3, but also has an embossed pattern 2 on the abdomen 1 of the blade, which further improves the practical effect and aesthetic appearance of the decorative knife (see Figure 1).
It is related to the manufacturing method, and in that manufacturing method, each item is not a handmade one-of-a-kind pattern as in the case of cascades, but
The present invention proposes a method that can easily produce large quantities of IQ-sho cutlery having a desired uniform pattern in a planned manner.

In other words, it is a composite three-layer steel 7 or a composite two-layer steel finished in a thin thickness by cladding a reinforcing base material 6 with excellent toughness or corrosion resistance on both or one side of a high-hardness blade 5. 11, the embossed pattern is applied to the surface of the base material using embossed pattern rolls 10 and 10' which are processed with striped, lattice-like, or polka dot-like patterns, and the internal joint surface 14 of the base material and the blade steel material is also After being deformed into an uneven shape according to the embossed pattern by the embossing process, the combined cutlery materials 7', 11' are made into cutlery through the three common manufacturing processes (die cutting → heat treatment → blade polishing → finishing). Finish it. As mentioned above, the internal joint surface 14 between the blade steel and the base material is deformed into an uneven shape due to the effect of embossing (see Figures 5 and 10). It appears in the form of hamon pattern lines that follow the pattern. In addition, in the case of embossed pattern roll rolling, in the case of composite 3-layer steel (for double-edged use), use embossed pattern roll 10 for both the upper and lower rolls, and in the case of composite 2-layered steel (for single-edged use), use the embossed pattern roll 10 on the mother side. It goes without saying that the embossed pattern roll 10' is used and the flat roll 13 is used on the blade steel side.

In addition, in this embossed pattern, there are striped trees in a lattice pattern or polka dot pattern, an example of which is shown in Figure 20, but this pattern does not adhere to the pattern shown in the illustration.
Of course, the pitch, depth, angle, size, shape, etc. of the grooves can be varied to obtain the desired pattern.

The knife obtained by the above-mentioned method has an embossed pattern 2 on the abdomen 1' of the blade, and a decorative knife (Fig. 1) in which a blade pattern 4 similar to the embossed pattern is exposed on the blade part 3. You can get it.

This decorative knife has an embossed pattern on the abdomen of the blade, which has the practical effect of preventing the workpiece from adhering to the blade, and also has an aesthetic effect not seen in conventional knives. The similar hamon pattern appears on the knife, making it a decorative knife with even greater commercial value.

In addition, in the present method for manufacturing decorative cutlery, the material for the cutlery can be manufactured by "roll rolling" without the need for a uniform forging process for each product or a process to bring about heat treatment hardness as in the conventional method. In order to obtain a material for cutlery with an embossed pattern on the surface of the mother village and a deformed internal joint surface into an uneven shape, the manufacturing process can be shortened to medium length, and the pattern is not uniform for each item. It is possible to obtain a large amount of products with a uniform pattern.Furthermore, by preparing embossed rolls with various embossed patterns such as stripes, grids, or polka dots,
It is possible to easily obtain a material for cutlery with a desired pattern at the right time, and the pattern can also be changed at will by changing the cutting direction of the material for cutlery (see Figures 12 to 16). You can easily obtain decorative cutlery with the desired pattern.

In addition, by using the laminated material 8 made of multiple layers of hard material and soft material as the base material of the composite knife material, the blade pattern on the blade part is exposed in multiple layers due to the difference in heat treatment hardness ( (See Fig. 19) A decorative cutlery with even more improved appearance can be obtained.

As described above, the decorative cutlery of the present invention has improved aesthetic and practical effects due to the embossed pattern on the abdomen of the blade and the blade pattern similar to the embossed pattern exposed on the blade, and the manufacturing method thereof is also different from the conventional one. Not only does it reduce the number of man-hours required compared to the manufacturing method for hamon cutlery, but it also makes it possible to easily produce decorative cutlery with desired patterns in large quantities, thereby contributing to industry. This clearly states that the
