を必要とする上に、曲面での加工のためにその加工が非

に剥離可能な保護シートを有するものでもよい。この銅
箔1の表面に硫化、酸化等の化学的処理を施して銅箔1
の表面自体を黒色又は緑色に着色する。次いで乾燥後、
その着色面2の必要に応じて防錆剤処理を施し、更にそ
の外周に例えは紫外線硬化型塗料、ウレタン樹脂塗料等
の硬化型のクリアを塗装し硬化させて上記着色面2の耐
候変色を防止すると共に液状接着剤でクリアが損傷しな
いように十分硬化させ、これにより第2図のように透明
保護層3を被覆して薄層シート4を形成する。しかる後
にこの薄層シート4を透明保護層3が外面に露出するよ
うにして第3図のように例えば硬質ポリ塩化ビニルやそ
の他のプラスチックパイプ5の外周に貼付ける。この貼
付けは薄層シート4の裏面に例えばエポキシ樹脂等の適
宜の接着剤を塗布しておき、これをプラスチックパイプ
5の外周に巻付けるようにすればよく、薄層シート4の
接合部は丁度金属竪樋のはせ加工面と同様な上下一直線
状とし、施工時にこの接合部が裏面に隠れるようにして
おく。 本発明にあつては上述のようにプラスチツクパ
・イプを主体としたいぶし金属調の雨樋を製造するに当
り、予め銅箔を硫化、酸化等の化学的処理により着色を
施し、次いでその着色面に透明保護層を塗着して薄層シ
ートを形成しておき、しかる後にこの薄層シートをプラ
スチックパイプの外周に・貼着しているから、従来最も
煩雑な工程を要していたプラスチツクパイプヘのメッキ
が不要となり、銅箔をベースとした薄層シートの貼着だ
けでプラスチックパイプ外周に銅面処理が施せる利点が
あり、しかも銅面への着色及び透明保護層の形成も従来
のような曲面処理ではなく、総て平面処理として簡単に
行なえるものであつて、各処理に要する場所が狭くても
よく、また工程全体が簡略化されて豪華な銅化粧が施さ
れた雨樋を安価なコストで得ることができる利点がある
