The method used is to open the can immediately before heating and melting. For example, you can open the top of the drum and heat it from the bottom to melt the asphalt inside the drum. Alternatively, if the scale is large, prepare a melting pot that can hold several drums and melt the asphalt inside the drum. A method is used in which a drum with its top plate opened is placed upside down in a melting pot and heated, and the solid asphalt in the drum is dissolved with the molten high-temperature asphalt liquid.
However, in any case, these methods have very poor dissolution efficiency because large chunks of solid asphalt are dissolved through the melted high-temperature asphalt. Moreover, in order to speed up the melting process, it is necessary to increase the asphalt liquid temperature. Although it is necessary to increase the temperature, doing so would make the work extremely dangerous, and it would also be difficult to control the temperature of the asphalt, resulting in defects that are undesirable from a quality control perspective.

The present invention was made to solve the conventional problems as described above, and includes a drum heating furnace,
Using a device that integrates a melting tank and a combustion furnace vertically, the opened drum is placed into the drum heating furnace with the opening facing down, and the asphalt on the peripheral wall of the drum is softened by heating from the combustion furnace. After melting, the solid asphalt in the drum is separated and dropped into the melting tank below, and then heated and melted in a combustion furnace, which allows the solid asphalt to be efficiently melted, and the operation control is simple and work safety is ensured. is high, and the device is small and can be easily and inexpensively manufactured.
The present invention aims to provide a method for dissolving solid asphalt and an apparatus therefor.

5 and the through hole 17 are aligned. By igniting the auxiliary burner 3 and the main burner 23, the combustion gas fills the heating furnace A, heats the outer periphery of the drum 5, and heats the heating tubes 15, 15.

The solid asphalt inside falls onto the radial melting cut plate 20 of the melting tank B below due to its own weight. Next, the auxiliary burner 3 is stopped, the main burner 23 is ignited, and the damper 21 is opened and the damper 28 is closed. Melting cut plate 20 and heating tube 1
5 is heated by the combustion gas from the main burner 23, the fallen solid asphalt is absorbed by the interaction between the biting action of the radially formed melting cut plates 20 and the heating action of the wide heat transfer surface. As a result, the melting progresses rapidly from the lower end, and the heat from the many heating tubes 15, 15 close to the outer periphery of the solid asphalt promotes the melting from the outer periphery as well. It will dissolve rapidly.

It flows into tank D. When the asphalt is sufficiently melted in the melting tank B, the opening/closing ring 18 is rotated to close the lower end of the heating pipe 15 and the chimney 29 is closed.

Therefore, the melted asphalt that has entered the oil storage tank D is maintained in a molten state by heating from the smoke exhaust pipe 25. Furthermore, even though the asphalt in the melting tank B is no longer heated by the heating tube 15, the melting notch plate 20 is heated, so the high temperature molten state is maintained by the heat. If solid asphalt falls from the drum 5,
The combustion of the auxiliary burner 3 is stopped, the door 1 is opened, the trolley 6 is carried out onto the oil storage tank D, a new drum can is placed on it, the carriage 6 is carried into the heating furnace A again, the auxiliary burner 3 is ignited, and the drum 5 is removed.
The solid asphalt inside the can is dropped into the melting furnace B by heating the surrounding surface of the can.

。In this case, the fallen solid asphalt is heated and melted through the molten asphalt in the melting furnace B. When the on-off valve 31 is opened and the pump 33 is driven, the dissolved asphalt in the oil storage tank D flows out from the discharge pipe 36 via the regulating valve 35 and is used.
