には強度をもたせるための厚い板材の使用であるので重
量化をまぬがれ得ず、また、溶接個所が多いので製作工
程が繁雑となり、溶接熱により、プレートに歪みを生じ
る欠点があり、一方、後者の場合には専用のプレス金型
を必要とし、また、一対のプレート本体の突合せにより
製作される都合上、プレート本体の折曲げ精度はかなり
高いものが要求されるなどの欠点があつた。
