DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention uses leaf tobacco, leaf scraps, shreds, powdered tobacco, backbones, or various tobacco residues produced in the tobacco manufacturing process as raw materials, and adds binders, humectants, etc. as appropriate. This relates to a method for producing rolled sheet tobacco by adding and mixing.

It is nm. Although it is known that pectin is used as a binder for sheet cigarettes, the present inventors obtained the sheet cigarette of the above invention by selecting the degree of methoxylation, degree of esterification, and blending ratio of pectin. I found out. Hereinafter, a detailed description will be given with reference to Examples.

Winnowa waste powder, a defibrated pulp product as a reinforcing agent, various pectins as a binder, propylene glycol and corn syrup as humectants (1:2 ratio), and glyoxal as a water-resistant agent are used in the formulation shown in Table 1. water is added and mixed so that the moisture content is 30% to prepare wet powder 2, which is heated at a circumferential speed of 75 m.

The sheet tobacco was then cut into pieces with a width of 87 Tgn and a length of 10 Tn using a cutting machine to obtain shredded tobacco. The increase in swelling due to the occurrence of wrinkles is due to the fact that the cut tobacco 15y has an inner diameter of 727 mm.
It was put into a cylindrical container of r0n and compressed at a constant speed of 0.5TnmIsec, and the stress was 250V1c! The volume when i is reached is determined, and as a control area, the
Table 1 shows the percentage increase in volume when the sheet tobacco produced by the method of the invention disclosed in Publication No. 59m was operated in the same manner as the above-mentioned shredded tobacco. As is clear from the examples in Table 1, the degree of methoxylation is 7 to 17%, and the degree of esterification is 6%.
When 2-77% high methoxyl pectin is used as a binder, the formation of wrinkles as shown in Figure 3 is noticeable when the blending ratio is 4-11%, and the swelling property differs slightly depending on the degree of esterification. 12-2 compared to traditional sheet cigarettes

On the other hand, when low methoxyl pectin with a methoxylation degree of less than 17% is used or high methoxyl pectin with a lower limit of esterification degree of less than 62% is used, eyelash wrinkles are not formed and the swelling property is lower than that of the previous one. It was inferior to wrinkled sheet cigarettes. Such differences depending on the type of binder are presumed to be due to the physicochemical properties of the binder, such as its fluidity, adhesive strength, and shrinkage force.

Conventionally, 2 to 3% carboxymethylcellulose sodium salt was blended as a binder in rolled sheet tobacco, but this was the result of searching for a binder that would have a binding effect in a small amount among various binders.

In the present invention, by selecting the type and amount of the binder at a higher blending ratio than the conventional practical blending ratio, when the sheet 3 adhered to the forming roll 1 is peeled off with the doctor knife 4, This increases the resistance and makes it possible to obtain a wrinkled sheet having the shape shown in FIG. According to the present invention, the drawback of the prior art in which the occurrence of wrinkles is reduced or prevented due to the angle at which the doctor knife is applied can be solved, and it is also possible to solve the problem of wrinkles occurring in the prior art due to the angle at which the doctor knife is applied. It is now possible to obtain sheet tobacco with relatively large wrinkles in the shape shown in Figure 3 without using a special peeling knife, and thereby it is possible to provide rolled sheet tobacco with high swelling properties. It became possible to do it.
