DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for easily producing pelleted mineral feed for livestock (hereinafter referred to as mineral pellets) with good palatability without a drying process.

Minerals such as calcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, and other minerals such as zinc carbonate, cobalt sulfate, copper sulfate, and calcium iodate are important nutrients for livestock, but they generally do not have good palatability when used alone, and are used in grains and meal. It is necessary to feed the fish by mixing it in advance with a compound feed consisting of fish meal, etc., or even when feeding it directly, it needs to be mixed well with other feeds before feeding. However, when feeding powdered minerals mixed with other feeds, the mixing is insufficient, so in order to improve palatability, flavorings, sweeteners, salt, seaweed powder, etc. are added. They are mixed.

Even in this case, since it is a powder, it sticks around the mouth, making it difficult to eat, and palatability is not necessarily improved.

For this reason, in recent years, a method has been used to improve the palatability of feed by pelletizing it, but compound feeds containing fats and oils, oil cakes, sucrose, leaves, etc. cannot be pelletized. On the other hand, minerals such as calcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, and magnesium carbonate cannot be extruded by themselves using water as a binder and/or an adhesive such as methyl cellulose or starch using a ring-type pelleter or desk-type pelleter. When molding into pellets using a pressure-type granulator, water evaporates and solidifies during extrusion and pressurization, which clogs the hole in the die of the pelletizer, making production impossible.

For this reason, conventionally, when producing mineral pellets, the moisture content is increased (20 to 4% by weight), so-called wet granulation is performed, and then the pellets are dried to an appropriate moisture content. In this way, in order to pelletize minerals, they must be dried, and pelletized minerals alone are not necessarily palatable, so they must be mixed with other feeds. No.

Therefore, the present inventors conducted various research on methods for producing mineral pellets with good palatability even on their own without going through a drying process.

As a result, a mixture of one or more minerals such as calcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, manganese carbonate, zinc carbonate, cobalt sulfate, copper sulfate, calcium iodate, etc. , black locust, blackberry
Add 10 to 4% by weight of powder of stems and leaves, add 2 to 5% by weight of water, and then add 1 to 1% by weight of adhesive and mix. By molding with an extrusion pressure type granulator such as a mold pelleter, it was possible to produce mineral pellets with sufficient strength and resistance to disintegration in a high yield without a drying step.

In this case, leaves and stems such as alpha alpha and locust,
Although it is possible to produce mineral pellets by adding more than 4% of foliage powder, the mineral content will be lower and the price will be higher, making it unsuitable as a mineral feed for mineral supply sources. Become something.

If the saliva content is less than 1%, the mineral pellets will not slide easily in the pelletizer and it will be difficult to produce mineral pellets. If the water content is increased, production will be possible, but a post-drying step will be required. Therefore, from the purpose of the invention, the moisture content is preferably 5% or less, and if the moisture content is too low, the pelleter will not be easily covered and clogged, so it is preferable to use 2% or more. In addition, as the adhesive added as a binder, at least one of molasses, methylcellulose, and starch is used, and the amount added is 2 to 1% by weight and 1 to 5% by weight, respectively, based on the mineral pellet raw material. , 1-1 slag weight%
Within the range of 2 or more types. Even when added, the total amount should be 1 to 1% by saliva.

If only water is used as a binder without using this adhesive, it is possible to manufacture pellets, but the strength of the pellets is weak.
Because it has no stickiness, it is brittle and crumbles easily, resulting in poor yield. In the present invention, alpha alpha, locust acacia,
Leaves and stems such as ginkgo contain fibers and oils, so they act as a lubricant that prevents the powder from caking due to the heat generated during pelletizing, improves smoothness, and prevents clogging of the hole in the die of the pelletizer. Both are palatable to livestock, similar to molasses added as an adhesive.

Furthermore, since there is no drying step, process and energy savings are achieved, and these aromas are not dissipated during the drying process, resulting in highly palatable mineral pellets. In addition to the minerals mentioned above, the minerals used in the present invention include, if necessary, other commonly used mineral components such as iron such as iron sulfate and iron citrate (when given to anemic livestock), salt, etc. Moreover, the types and proportions of minerals to be added can be varied depending on the type of target animal, its growth stage, the region where it is raised, etc.
